Mass Bay Credit Union W Fourth St, Boston

I applied to Mass Bay Credit Union get a HELOC on my primary house. After almost three months, right before we could close the HELOC, I was told that I needed to pull my house out of my trust! I established the trust to protect my assets! There is no way that I would move my house out of the trust. I should've informed about it before I proceeded with the application by the loan officer. I lost valuable time to get a HELOC with a reasonable low rate. I would not recommend this credit union!

I recently did a loan at Mass Bay Credit Union. Sonya Barros went above and beyond patiently explaining the process from beginning to end. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great service and a great deal.

Love this credit union!!! So far, I haven't had any issues whether I'm conducting everyday banking business or seeking help with loans. The employees are friendly and easy to speak to. Definitely not what you would normally find dealing with larger franchised banks.

I had someone I didn't/ don't know tap into my checking account over the internet some how deposit a check in to my account that the Bank allowed and made funds available right from the start without making sure the so called check cleared first before making the funds available to begin with. So I was wow I got money and was surprised and in need so I with drew Then my Social security check was held hostage by this bank (MASS BAY CREDIT UNION OF SOUTH BOSTON MASS) AND FORCED ME TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT that I'd pay $350 a month to the Bank until paid back. 1 I'm on very limited income I'm now homeless and have Breast cancer. I feel the BANK was at FAULT 1. Because they allowed the check and funds available right from day one 2. The bank NEVER notified me of such a deposit 3. I told the Bank I couldn't afford to pay $350 a month 4. I asked if the had the IEP ADDRESS OF THE COMPUTER THE DEPOSIT CAME FROM AND IGNORED MY QUESTION 5. The Bank did not protect and secure my account Now I'm court ordered to pay every penny back with interest SO STAY AWAY FROM THE MASS BAY CREDIT UNION

I had an account at this bank 147 W Fourth St, South Boston 5 6 years ago I closed the account because they did not offer credit cards I continued to use the bank because it is very close to my house the service of the Teller was always very good but they had 2 new latin teller very unprofessional I was more than an hour and I could not deposit the money very poor customer service they need more training.

Almost two years ago I had a checking and savings account until the bank allow oops. I told the bank I didn't want oops because I knew if I went over they would keep taking money until I own. Now all the money I saved in my savings is gone. Now I can't pay for my medical supplies.

I had a very short window to get approved and closed for an auto loan because my car was totaled. They were very fast and extremely accommodating to me even though at the time I was very stressed impatient and anxious. I greatly appreciate they’re patience, hard work and dedication to their jobs cause they made it happen for me and were very kind and accommodating to someone who was stressed and not as polite and patient as I should have been. I will continue to go to them for my loan and banking needs. Thanks again guys ! -Brian

When I moved my business close, I thought I would move my small business banking here a it is just a block away. I just left after trying to get some help notarizing a document I need fast, they were totally unwilling to help and made me wait while they discussed not helping me. Not the service or attitude I need from my bank. Their loss! But suspect they really don't care anyway.

I don't know what's up with Natalie's bitter review. They're not a bank and they always treat me well, even though I'm a Hanscom member. They never push me to switch either. Good luck finding a bank which will do the same.

I just withdrew under $3000 at this location without ID, a card or a password. Thats terrifying.
