You asked for it don't ever Finance anything with Mariner Finance their finance charges are 25 + percent which means what you borrow you will pay back more than double. And never redo alone with him because they make you take out more money than what you originally owed which cost you more interest and a larger payment. In my case I had no other choice and I'm not going to explain that. But I will soon do you make any arrangements to pay them back quickly. Oh and may I say when they tell you it'll only take 15 minutes it'll take an hour and a half just don't.!

Mariner is a very professional team. They were prompt on returning calls and ready for me when I closed my loan. I am very satisfied with their service. I feel they do all they can to serve their customer, especially in times like we are in right now.

I bought a water softener and was told I had the option of 12 months same as cash. I said ok and they said I have to pay this company. After my decision I'm told that if I'm late a payment that I have to pay over 600 in finance fees. I thought that was very bizarre and a bit crooked but I was ok since I won't be late. Since all that I've tried to make my first payment and they wanted to send me to a 3rd company to make payments. So they were trying to get me to pay to pay. I didn't like that so I went to the Mariners site's option to register my checking account and routing information. After adding my account I then realized there was no option to make a payment and it continued to transfer me to a third party company which didn't have my checking information. I went in on a Friday july 10th to ask why mariner would even have me add my checking account if I could not make payments. None of the 5 employees could there could answer the question. They told me that day that I could do auto pay to avoid fees but only at a fraction of the amount I'm supposed to pay. They said i can't make auto payments for what i agreed to pay. If I paid less than the full amount I would have to pay the extra 600. They are intentionality making it difficult to make payments in hopes that people will default and make them extra payments one way or another. The manager told the lady to take down my number and I was told I would get a call back about why mariner would collect mybank info if they can't collect payments and that I would recieve a call Monday. It's Friday and still no call back.

Great place to get a loan if needing extra cash. Keep payment history good and they'll offer you more loans. Rates are fair. The only issue I had was getting to pay them during the week since not open on weekends but now that I can pay with debit card that isn't an issue. I've dealt with them for many years and they've always been fair and easy to get along with

I have always found Mariner to be pleasant, friendly, great customer service and quick responses to applications. Good place to get loans from.

If you are thinking about applying for a loan Mariner Finance is the place to go. They are the friendliest crew of people. They treat you like you are somebody and not just someone who helps them receive a paycheck. They work very had and close with you to get what you need. They have sure helped me more than once.

I've taken out several loans through PFC. Some were for furniture purposes, others to pay off credit cards, and still others to help out family members with medical bills and other debts. I'm even looking into funding my last year of undergrad through them. PFC has always been willing to work with me and help me balance my finances. There was never a penalty fee for paying off loans early, so it was easy to pay them off when I was able. I have never felt pressured to take out money I did not need, but they made me feel more financially secure by offering me more if I needed it. I think the interest rates are reasonable, although I have only taken out personal loans, so I cannot vouch for other loan types. All of the employees have been very polite and patient with me. I greatly appreciate all of their help! :) I recommend them to others, and I look forward to doing business with them in the future! **Edit: 3 years later, and I still stand by this review.

They’re helpful until you need your credit report corrected. And then.....the nightmare will never end. This place reports differently than other creditors!! BEWARE. I have no open account with then anymore, but their ways/loopholes make it impossible to remove from my credit report as a new account. Luckily, it was from December 2016 and the two year drop off is approaching. High staff turnover in the office, and unless you need a loan, they don’t care. *staff in front lines have always been GREAT. Probably why they don’t last. Managers and Mariner Finance are horrid.
