Mariner Finance Baltimore Pike, Springfield

Got the loan in March to send my daughter to Tennessee. That part was the easiest,the funds were in my account within a few days,but trying to get someone on the phone is terrible! I've called numerous times in the last week,left messages. No call back! Someone did answer last Thursday said she was busy and would call me back in 20 minutes. It's now Wednesday the following week! This is a long 20 minutes!!!

Already a bad taste I apply for a loan online. Great they told me to call the branch to complete the loan okay great. But sadly I had to go to the branch in person the gentleman did tell me that the phone lines were down on the days that I was calling but it looks like I've been calling for at least about four or five days during their proper business hours. I even went to a finance place near where I worked they couldn't even pull my application so it's been more of a run around than anything sadly I haven't even got an answer on my loan even if it is yes or no

I received great support from Mr. Karyim regarding my loan. He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. I would refer a friend or family member to Mariner

First, I will start off by saying that I gave Mariner Finance 1 star only b/c the staff was polite BUT I have had the most horrible experience with them. In January 2021, Mariner Finanace took 2 payments out of my account that I did not authorize which caused an overdraft in my bank account. My account with them was falsely flagged as late. By the time they looked into it a month had gone by and they asked if I wanted the payment back but by then it was no point since my next payment was coming due and the damagehad already been done. Never got reimbursement for the overdraft they caused 😒 due to their negligence. You also can not make additional payments online or via the app you have to call and potentially have the experience I had with them taking more than they were suppose to. Fast forward to now, I applied for a loan on June 11th and sent everything they needed for it. Mariner Finance took so long to process my application I went on vacation from work for a week came back to work and it still wasn't processed. By the time someone got back to me, I had to resend every document I had already sent twice. Finally closed on the loan this past Tuesday. It's Friday and I never recieved the funds on the loan. At this point, I don't want the loan anymore. It's not worth the high interest rate and fees they charge people. Their politeness is not enough to compensate for the experience I had with them nor the service. Look somewhere else.

Thank the kind gentleman for helping me in this time of need. Even though he may not have been the approving authority, his professionalism as closer was very much appreciated. Thank you Mariner Finance.

Customer service not that great, They are never available over the phone/ , or return Phone calls, so I could imagine would it would be like tryna to get help.. I have been calling this place for a week straight during business hours No answer/ Officially looking for another place..

When walking in the building i was greeted with a smile which made me comfortable, the manager, and loan officer was very pleasant they both explained the application, and the loan forms to me. I had an excellent experience with Mariner Finance. Habeeb and Elliot were great. They answered my questions and were very helpful in getting my loan approved. I had another loan through them also and have always had a positive experience.
