Mainstreet Credit Union W 135th St, Olathe

Mainstreet CU was good to do business with. They were always very friendly whenever I called to inquire about various things. The one thing I wish for is better online experience. I had set up auto payments at the onset of the auto loan I had, but I could never change anything on the auto pay. A little frustrating. But I paid off the loan yesterday and they were all too happy to take care of it for me with a smile!

What a great bank. They seem to actually care about their customers and they have a drive through and walk up. The lobby has coffee!? A fresh home feel take on banking.

I’ve banked with Mainstreet Credit Union for 30 plus years, way before they became Mainstreet. I did go with another credit union a few years back for the 4 years I lived in Georgia because they aren’t available out there but when I moved back here I was right back at home with Mainstreet. I’ve always had great customer service no matter which branch I go to and I really like their online banking app. If you are looking for a great banking home where they treat their members right, check them out, I don’t think you can go wrong. 😊

I have banked with Mainstreet credit union for 20+ years. I have never had a bad experience with them. They’ve always treated me fairly. Tellers are always friendly along with bank personnel.

Mainstreet Credit Union has restructured its means of operation due to Covid 19, and the fact that its a small business when compared to banks that are all over the country. The calls are managed by a call center now. Associates all require appointments. Tellers have been trained to handle all small problems, and the banks are only full of barely enough staff to handle an average day of customers, when they usually have a long line of people. I have yet to see one manager in either Olathe branch. They are understaffed and overburdened at both Olathe branches. It wasn't their fault that

Whoever helped us was so awesome! Most of the time people are like robots when they are working and push you through too get to the next customers. But the man that helped us had a genuine fun conversation and we all laughed. Thank you mainstreet for picking a good genuine person to work there. 👍🏼 and of course we accomplished what we came for.

I’ve been working with Mainstreet CU for my financial needs for more than a decade. I’d recommend them to everyone!!! My dad worked in a bank most of his life, but at the end of his career he worked in a credit union. He told all of his kids that we should never use a bank, and always use a credit union. Banks are owned by stockholders, so the goal is to make money for those individuals. But the credit union is owned by the members, which keeps costs down and money safer. I cannot stress enough how pleased I am at Mainstreet CU!

I stopped at the branch on 135th street to withdraw some cash from my checking acct. The gentleman that helped me was so pleasant and helpful. He actually seemed to like what he was doing. That is not my usual banking location, but I was treated really well. It made my day.

Andy was the best. He even laughed at my corny jokes. Great experience. We got everything we came in for.
