It's like an overpriced thrift store. Wouldn't be that bad but the owner Dan, who never served, is rude and doesn't know how to interact with customers or know how to build relationships with people with deep pockets. You think he would have learned his lesson from getting fired from Palace but nope, oh well. Fallon has a great family run pawn shop with thousands of items, including cars and motorcycles, no junk and they know their weapons and can direct you to a local Vet owned FFL that charges $25 for transfers and purchases.

Walked into this location to take a look, politely said hello, however, the tall bald man behind the counter was so INCREDIBLY rude. Then he was rude and talking down to his employee with several customers in the store. Take your time, money, and everything else somewhere else.

Horrible Place! Very rude bald guy, ignores paying customers, caters to crackheads selling stolen items. Overpriced junk for sale. Dirty unorganized shop. Irregular hours. Don’t waste your time with this joke.

Extremely unlikely I'll EVER do business with this place ever again. Dirty and very uncomfortable. Over priced and as it is... there isent even much to buy or look at. Do your self a favor and skip this place.

Don't walk in and you won't be disappointed.

Can not even find a day this place is open when it says it is . Very strange.

Seems to be willing to pay 10% of items values and then sell them for 110%. I was looking for a cheap USED XBOX microphone/single speaker headset. The standard cheap one that comes with the controllers. Found one on the shelf and was told something around $20-$25 for it. Went to walmart and bought it new for I think around $15. I've been in a couple times over the past years and staff generally seams unpleasant each time.

Ive given this shop 3 trys over the last 10 years but after today im done. Ive never pawned anything before but i feel sorry for whoever walks through his doors in need of cash. (If your lucky enough to find the door open durring normal buisness hours) All Ive ever tried to do is buy/ trade/ sale guns. Everytime I walk in the door im excited with a plan to give him my money but when i walk out the door im disapointed with a pocket full of cash i couldnt give him if my life depended on it. Today his first best and last proposed trade was to low ball my trade gun to $150 below wholesale. (The gun is in perfect condition with less than 3 mags through it) and would not move one penny on the sticker price of the well worn over priced ($100 more than it cost brand new) gun i wanted to buy for the slide & parts. When i tried to negotiate ($25 bucks could have done the deal) he acted flippent and made out like he was doing me some kind of favor and told me he wasnt even intrested in the gun i was trading at all. The gun i was trading in was in much better condition than any of the used guns he was displaying. So I tried but thats it- im done. Locals- best of luck @ Mainstreet Pawn. I think the reason this is so long is because im so disapointed there is no place to buy or sale a gun in Fernley. I sure miss Ace Hardware.

Every time I come here it says open but there’s a sign saying be back soon..I came by about 5 separate times.its very upsetting and I am starting to think they don’t even want the business.not coming back for a 6th
