Terrible..... I went to this pawn shop a while ago to purchase a guitar amp and it broke down on me by the time I went home. This company has a tendency of selling musical instruments that don't work with boot leg hardware and parts that come from other instruments... You're better off buying something on eBay than dealing with these low life morons.

I have been visiting Main Loan for 25 years. I stop in every year or so to look at guitars. Jeff always recognizes me and is friendly. I have been able to get solid deals and Jeff is up for bundling a couple of things together for a sweeter deal. No issues at all with the Kaplan's!

Jeff was a total pro, no time wasted. Eric thorough and courteous. Would have liked a little more dough, but cost me less to reclaim, so it worked out. Thanks to Main Loan for helping a traveling musician hang on to the next payday.

Never do business with these people. These people are thieves and should not be in business. If you pawn any jewelry, you should expect them to steal the stones from the jewelry and replace them with fake or lower quality stones. These people are evil.

Does anyone know if I can get guitar pedals effects processors or accessories here?

These people give pawnshops a bad name. We had a burglary at our house. The detective suggested told me they checked the pawn shops but I should check as well. The first time I went in with my two year old daughter they were nothing but rude and dismissive. Told me they hadn't bought anything since the new year. The second time I went in to buy back some of my wife's jewelry, that had been sold there the day before I came in the first time, they were again rude an unapologetic. These guys buy stolen goods and help the criminals. Never go there and certainly never buy anything from them. If I could give a quality lower I would.

I have bought things there and the two gentlemen that waited on me are very smart and just cool guys. I do not know them personally but I like them. I am only a buyer and I bought a few guitars and one shot gun.

I took a ps4 down to them when ps4 were still selling at $300. The guy there tried to low ball me to a $100 like idk what I have, when I thought his offer was low I decided to leave he then stopped me and offered $150 for the console. These guys try and jew you down to nothing.

Jeff and Family is always available and willing to help you stay above water when needed!! They are fair and will try and give the customer the best deal.

Best pawn shop i've been to. Always pressure free,trustworthy and solid prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Pittsburgh!
