M&T Bank Shawan Rd, Hunt Valley

I've been to this particular M&T several times, and have mostly dealt with Hank. Hank has always been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I came in today and he helped me understand a feature of my autoloan. To the other reviews mentioning trouble depositing checks, I know this is not what you want to hear but the ATM machine outside accepts checks/cash and is very quick.

The worst bank i have ever seen. All M&T Banks are the same. Snotty personelle and slow as a snail takes forever to get a single check cashed. The sometimes would not even put the money in a enevelop and just throw it in the capusule. I absolutely hate going to this bank and hoping to move out of state soon and will be down with them.

The tellers aren't really friendly. And they seem to pick and choose who they request tons of identification from.

No complaints of this place they do their jobs

If you run a professional business this is NOT the bank for you... completely unhelpful, Completely disorganized... waited 10 days for past bank statements that were ordered to come in... over a week after they are ordered and I finally think I can come in and pick them up... I get a call from the guy I ordered them from and he says the bank doesn’t have the statements because they are too old and there is nothing they can do about it. (That would have been great information 10 days prior, you know, like on the same day you said they were ordered and on their way) You may also like to know that M&T Bank does not keep complete records of your previous transactions with them so if you think your statements and bank finance records are safe and secure with M and T... I CAN ASSURE YOU THEY AREN’T. If a bank can’t hold records, which is one of their MAIN purposes... then my suggestion is don’t do business with them. Finally... it doesn’t get any better the higher on the food chain you go because the “Manager” was absolutely ZERO help in the matter. Talking to him was laughable, just more wasting of my time from M and T!

I want to complement the branch on what fine service I received from Danielle. She remembered me and easily resolved an issue I've had in the past. Very professional and friendly.

Lady at the front desk helped me out a lot and was extremely nice!

Waste of time. I don't know why I came here. Oh yes. I was here to open an account.
