M&T Bank E Hinckley Ave, Ridley Park

This is the actual worst bank. Tellers watch the line build and don't help. They have ONE teller open on a Friday, and the teller is new so she's painfully slow and just walks away from her desk. I've watched her hand count amounts of money that should be put through the bill counter. Absolutely insane. Go literally anywhere else.

I have been with this bank for over 40 years and I have been with a lot of other banks this by far is the Best bank ever

Incredibly rude and confrontational. The staff at this bank appear openly hostile when asked any question whatsoever. Management is just as unprofessional and arrogant. I am pulling all my money out of this bank. If you like being treated badly, this is the bank for you. M&T needs to be MT (empty).

I went to the glenolden one before it closed. There’s this one worker there that try’s making me close my savings account literally every time I step into this bank. She claims I cannot have this savings account anymore because it’s a “junior savings account” when I opened the account when I was 19! Every time I say the same exact thing. I was not underage when I opened this account. I don’t appreciate her persistent customer service on trying to make my cancel my savings account. If there was truly an issue with me having this account they would have made me cancel it and make another one. May I add she’s been saying this to me for about 4,5 years . Edit - I went there today and opened a checking account with a nice lady who was a lot of help. Most of the workers are great it’s just this one specific worker I’ve had issues with for years at both locations . If you are waited on by the right person your experience can be pleasant. I’ve been with this bank for years and it’s only the one person who I have had issues with .

This bank branch is the absolute worst and unfortunately it’s the only one left in Delaware County. This morning there were 3 employees working a line out of the front door because the ATM machine was down and only 1 employee was working as a teller. This is the third time I’ve been in the branch since the one in Glenolden closed and I’ve had nothing but horrific experiences. In a previous experience they wouldn’t cash my check even though I’ve been banking with this bank since 2009. I hate this entire bank it’s the absolute worst customer service you can find. As soon as it becomes easy to change my direct deposit information at both of my places of employment I will be shifting my business to a credit union. Ridley township is the least helpful branch you could ever step into. They have their people that they know and are polite to possibly locals and if you’re new due to another branch closing you aren’t treated with the same service and smile. This is the WORST branch ever!

I would give them zero stars if I could.
