While the staff is courteous and helpful, this has got to be the most inconsistent handling of insufficient funds I've ever seen from a bank. An Amazon processing error out of my control let to a series of promises: we will refund you entirely, we will not refund you at all, and, ultimately after I gave up, we will refund you partially. Not cheap either: M&T charges the second most expensive overdraft fees in the nation. I explained I would never knowingly put my account into overdraft, but whatever gets them cash, I guess.

Angie and Judy are the best. So thankful for their excellent service and friendliness.

Love this branch. One of the employees, Mr. Stackfield, has been unbelievably helpful. I was in the Army for many years - and despite living in the south (and not having easy access to an M&T Bank). Mr. Stackfield always made it very easy for me or my family to take out money, manage accounts and generally keep up with my financial well being. I still reside near a military instillation and often need to travel for work. The nearest M&T Bank is over 200 miles away. But without fail - if I or someone in my family has trouble we can get Mr. Stackfield on the phone and he will do everything in his power to correct any issues. Great employee working for a great bank.
