2018 was a good year, bought a home and this is when we met Janet. We had a great realtor who simply said see if LeaderOne might be easier to work with than our bank. This was just for financial options for our needs. We liked how Janet & LeaderOne kept in touch with fun emails and calls. We refinanced in late 2019 for a lower FHA rate and in early 2021 to a lower conventional rate. Every step of the way we found Janet to be helpful and available, even with COVID. Many conversations that were straight forward to review all options. Handling the "if this, then that" situations with market values and appraisals made it easy to take time to decide the best fit for our needs. Janet made it feel effortless, even when deciding on what worked best to reach goals in the process. The no pressure approach to review and time taken to answer questions made it feel like someone cared and heard what our goals in home ownership are. Janet has taught us so much about lending that I find it hard to even think about calling someone else now for home lending.

As long as Matt is in the mortgage industry I will only work with him. We purchased a year ago but with rates getting low I reached out to see what he thought about refinancing. He let me know it is definitely a good time but he was sure rates were going to go lower. We got everything started with the refinance, getting paper work in and the house ready for appraisal. Brad Christensen is very competent. He is patient and explains everything and answers all questions promptly. The only complaint I have regarding Leader One is that our loan was sold to Penny Mac which has terrible customer service. Now that we've refinanced at a lower interest rate (Thanks, Brad), I'm hoping we'll get a different loan company.

Gavin was great to work with. After a referral through a friend, he couldn't have been more honest and attentive. Even after we went through a different lender due to a prior relationship, Gavin went out of his way to answer any questions I had and was honestly much more responsive and helpful than our refi lender was.
