My day of closing was not what I imagined. Mrs. Thelma was very nice when I was signing papers. They only let me inside but did not let my GF in as she was bringing in half of the closing cost. At the entrance they just took the check from her and told her she couldn’t come in (rude). There excuse is COVID but for other people they have pictures holding keys or a poster something nice you know. I think buying a house is a big deal and they should at least show like they care about you and not just the money. I did not receive keys that day until my realtor called and asked two days later why haven’t we received keys yet? She spoke with Oscar Aguilar and he said it was because money was missing but he never called and asked or even mention that this was the reason keys could not be released. We were told the wrong amount by Veterans United and lone star title also did not verify the amount the day of closing which is there job. How am I allowed to sign papers without having the cash to close? Also, how come Oscar did not call me or my realtor to ask for the rest of the money so we could get keys? I had called Oscar the same day my realtor spoke to him and he was very rude and unprofessional.

Sign documents and done with paper work but i never got the key of my house i have to breaking in to my own place

I was treated very poorly at the closing of my home. They did not want to provide me the keys at closing. Even after I spoke with the builder that verified to me I could pick up keys and warranty they left me outside so they could call and verify with builder. Instead of being polite and inviting me in they had me wait outside and handed me the keys and warranty outside. There excuse was because the home had not funded yet. If I am signing closing documents it’s because the lender has approved my loan and the home is going to get funded. Gives you no right to mistreat anyone. This place is completely rude.

John Martin, Thelma Padilla, and Pearl were all extremely helpful and polite in helping me with my title paperwork. Military friendly and great customer service. Highly recommended!

They only want your money, the only issue is they are bad at what they do. Save your time and sanity by going to a different title company
