Do not recommend. Started process with one officer who never called back after making multiple promises to return call via text. Then finally connected with an officer that was much better to work with until it was passed on closing. Received an email stating they received closing docs a couple hours before we signed with notary. Requested info with no response. Then followed up after closing for several days with no response until escalated to supervisor to find they are still waiting on verification of employment to fund a loan we closed on 5 days ago and it will be another 3-4 days before they will disperse funds and pay off other loans.

Terrible customer service. We have an escrow issue with them. We have faxed emailed and mailed the forms needed and cannot get a response. They just keep saying a few more weeks and then asking us to send in the same thing over and over. Tried to refinance recently and loan officer sets up times to talk and then doesn’t call. They are awful

Loan was set to close on December 21. Had a question about the fees being charged. The responses got slower and slower until I finally on January 6 I called customer service and was told I couldn’t finance for 92% of loan value and if I still wanted to use loan depot my rate would go from 2.75% to 3.5%. No communication skills

The rates were good and the initial person I talked was perfersial and considerate. But i just got the strong arm call that I should decide now with them and my decision to wait for a time was he almost said stupid. WOW is all I can say about this company. I feel they are hiding more in the small print then a lawyer will be able to find.

Loan depot has been excellent throughout the entire purchase process. They have been helpful, consultative, professional and quick to respond. They have understood our needs and have been able to provide great recommendations along with outstanding professional service.

This is an ABUSIVE company with a horrible model. I know that I submitted my information to receive information from multiple parties about rates, however what I was not expecting was a bombardment of phone calls, texts and emails. I have received close to 20 calls a day from different entities identifying themselves as contacting me due to my information received from Loandepot. This has been consistent for 4 days. They start at horrible hours in the morning and continue later into the evening. I used them several years ago and had a great experience, now it seems they have gone the wrong way. Will be going to a local bank to see what they can do as I am to frustrated with this.

I made the mistake of calling the 800 number and ended up with someone out of CA. DO NOT CALL THEM. They do everything in a strange order, they don't care about any timeline you may be on, no one will take responsibility for anything. I am trying to refinance one loan and buy another home, and I am about to lose the other home we are buying because LoanDepot won't even get me a close date. Every time we ask for an update we get the run around. "we are working on it, we have to adjust a couple things, I am switching the type of loan." It's complete madness. The local company I am using is giving me instructions on how to get them to finish this loan and they STILL can't figure it out. I uploaded all the documents they asked for while I was talking to the loan officer, and yet, when we asked what the hold up was, I didn't upload documents in time. Well, that can't be right, because you had everything you needed before I hung up...they had no answer for that. Went back to, "we are working on it. My loan is ready to close and it started almost 2 weeks after this nonsense with LoanDepot. GO ELSEWHERE. Use whoever your realtor suggests if you have too, but DO NOT USE LOAN DEPOT or you risk losing your house if you are on a timeline.

Worst experience of my life. This company operates like its their first day in business. Between the miscommunications internally and lost documents that were sent to them multiple times they should be paying you!!! Horrible experience!!! Shop elsewhere, you will be happy you did! I promise.

The team we have been working (Heather) has been extremely helpful and answered anything we asked her in a very timley manner. She has been there for us at ever step of the process.
