Loan Star is the best place in this area to find firearms and ammunition. They have better prices and friendlier staff than any other place in Northeast Texas. My husband pawned a shotgun we'd had for years. But when he wanted to get it out he was told they needed a background check. Well....they didn't ask for one when he pawned it. They refused to return it. They got a good shotgun for $20. If they had told us up front we'd be checked to get it out we would never pawned it. I wonder how many free firearms they've gotten this way since their ad says largest selection of firearms. Just thought it was a crapput thing to do especially since it was my dad's.

I've been going to Loan Star Pawn for 22 years and I can speak for myself and friends, when I say that they are fair when looking to Pawn/Sell items, and they have the best customer service I've ever had dealing with any other Pawn Shops.

For starters, their new location is great! Very spacious, different sections far away from others. Someone is helping you the moment you walk into their establishment. These gentlemen work great with you and lets face it, as a girl that can be a challenge getting respect from the men behind the counter. I brought in four different items. In reality I was expecting to walk out with $60. I came home with $100.00 and for that man to have enough respect for me while I was chatting on and giving more than my two cents, he was listening the whole time. All of the staff treat you exactly how any one person should be treated. I love the most that they appear to truly enjoy what they do for people! I will never go anywhere else again! HOPE TO SEE YALL THERE!

Offered me $50 for $350 radio. eBay and Amazon are not liable resources for inquiring how much something costs. Above that, wouldn't budge off of their lowball price. Wouldn't recommend.
