When I applied for refinancing I went to 2 local banks. Hoping to get a low rate. To my dismay, I was only offered 1.5% below my current rate. And one bank was only offering 2x less on cash out I needed. I thought “I’m sure I can get better offer from other bank or loan company.” Then, I contacted my cousin who has many experience in refinancing. Getting approved for a loan at Loan Factory is very quick and easy. Comparing with my previous lender, Loan Factory is so much better. Just closed refinancing with them. Their total loan cost for the similar interest rates was unbeaten by other lenders/brokers. The loan officer and other staffs were very responsive and communicated very well most of the time. These are the main reasons I chose them over other lenders. Their website is okeyish. The processing of my loan was a few days slower than the other lenders I worked with at the same time, probably because loan factory was in high-demand and the staffs were a bit overworked, which is understandable. In the end, they delivered what they promised and waived the lock extension fee without any fuss.
