Have done business with Listerhill Credit Union for over 40 years. House mortgages, vehicle loans, and daily use. Good hometown banking.

This Credit Union is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I went once to transfer money out of wife's business account to pay taxes. Would not complete transaction because they said my name was not on account. What? Visited Hough rd. Branch and the manager said she didn't understand what was going on because it showed up on her computer I was on there and card was on file but teller's computer didn't show up. Took them over a week to fix it. Later, they refused an estate account for my wife's father and handed her a $44,000 check made out to his estate. She asked what are we supposed to do with this? Their answer? There is nothing we can do for you here. Within the hour, TVA Credit Union had us fixed up and operational. We closed our accounts and left. Best decision ever!

If you ever travel outside of the United States. This bank sux. They have blocked my card 4 times and I can't get to my money. A NIGHTMARE! CANT GET TO SECURITY. to get money. I'm flat broke in Europe. Cynthia L. Wilson.

I’d like to give a big shout out to Kim Walker at the Hough Road Branch. She made getting my car loan a breeze! She got my information over the phone and through email. She quickly got me approved and in a matter of an hour or so all I had to do was go pick up the check! She was friendly, responsive to my needs, and got me exactly what I needed. Thanks, Kim!!

Our card was stolen. Fraud department was supposed to refund all of the money that was stolen plus the $500+ in "courtesy fees" that were charged for each transaction at $29 a pop (which btw we tried to opt out of a week before and were told we would need to come do it in person... not sure why; probably because it was inconvenient for us to do that since we moved from the area and that's how they make most of their money). Never had this kind of problem with any other bank and I've had a few. Now they sent our account to collections for $800 and screwed up my credit without any contact from them. Last we talked to them they were fixing it. Go anywhere else in the world for banking. This was a simple checking account by the way. Not any kind of loan.

Generally l have a great experience...but this is when l am physically at my branch. Today, l tried the phone . No one answered after 20 min on hold l gave up
