Wonderful shopping experience. Had been looking for a few months for a vehicle. They were the one and only car dealership that asked me what I was looking for, as far as features, besides my budget range. While other places were trying to get me in vehicles in my price range, without regard to my preferences, just to make a sale. Lighthouse was and amazing and caring place to buy a vehicle. Brian was an outstanding salesman who truly cared, and went above and beyond. John had great customer service and kept in with me as needed. Kaleb the technician worked hard to beat the time clock and get a car ready to go before expected. Jim the driver was very courteous and explained any information as needed. All around this was a great place to buy a vehicle, and everyone there did an outstanding job!

Called Keith Edelman on a whim to get a new truck. Trucks are very hard to come by right now however Keith was able to find one for us right away. We have never been to Lighthouse Buick GMC, but we will definitely be back when we are ready for our next vehicle. Very helpful and friendly staff. No pressure. The whole process start to finish took only about 2 hours and that includes driving the truck prior to making our decision. We are 70 miles from here but definitely worth the drive. We will refer others.

If anybody is looking for a car I would highly recommend Steven Buchanan at lighthouse in Morton. I had an excellent experience with him and he was great to work with! It was the Saturday before Easter Sunday and I was in need of a new vehicle because my current one went out. I reached out to another dealership who I used before and after multiple attempts all day to have some assistant me in getting one I did not hear back from anyone. My sister recommended that I contact lighthouse who she had a great experience with. It was 30 min before close but I went ahead and just sent a message online inquiring about a car. I honestly did not expect anyone to get back with me but they did. This young man took the time to get in touch with me while they were closing. Most dealerships would not have went that extra mile especially with the holiday. After our conversation he promised to follow up with me on Monday and that is exactly what he did. First thing Monday morning I received a phone call, no hastle, he sent everything to me and within a couple hours I was good to go! It was that easy. So stress free! So, I did a search for a specific truck and LIGHTHOUSE Buick GMC had it! We entered our info on the weekend and was contacted Monday morning by Angie. She was awesome and scheduled our visit to Lighthouse to meet up with Keith. This is not our first car purchase with Lighthouse but it is our first “new” car purchase. From the first encouragement from Sabrina to just “check out” a new car to our helpful and supportive salesman Jon Tharp, I don’t think our experience could have been any better. Jon is so knowledgeable and answered every single question! In full disclosure, our son was a salesman at Lighthouse for many years so this was our first purchase without him…..same great experience! This was one of the best car buying experiences I've had. Met with Jeremy not knowing exactly what we wanted. He spent time with us trying out 4 different vehicles. He was laid back but informative. After test driving a couple other options elsewhere, ended up coming back. Jeremy worked with me on the final price and purchase details in advance so we were able to pop back in for relatively quick paperwork, a big help with 2 younger, active kids. The typical after-market options and extended warrantee were offered during the final paperwork, similar to what you get at every dealer, but it was a short overview presentation without the pushy hard sell that I really hate getting at other places. Overall great experience and this will be the first place I come for my next vehicle.

Stephen Buchanan did a great job selling us our (new to us) Camaro. Great communication, friendly staff, and a pleasurable no-pressure experience. I typically can’t stand car shopping, but this experience was one of the best I’ve had. Also, a great business with true family values—very refreshing.

We love shopping at Lighthouse! We met Dane in 2014. We were trying to find a Buick dealer and a salesman we could trust after Heritage Buick closed in Peoria. We went to other Buick dealers in the area and found a home at Lighthouse! We enjoy seeing and working with Dane from the the start. With the Camaro and Corvette we just purchased, we have purchased 5 vehicles from Lighthouse since 2014. Dane is great. We fully trust what he tells us. We have a great connection. We met Loren and he is always helpful with our parts and accessory needs. We share fishing stories with him and enjoy seeing pictures of his family as it grows! Communication was excellent and they were wonderful in having a mechanic ride with me to get the car to “fail” or act up so they could see what I was telling them was wrong. I appreciate they don’t dismiss me as a dumb woman and took the time to actually listen to what I was hearing. It resulted in us finding the problem and the mechanic being able to diagnose it correctly! I truly appreciate this family owned dealership and their level of respect for their customers!!

As soon as we got out of our car that Saturday we were greeted, and introduced to Trevor our salesman, Trevor did an amazing job walking us through the whole process, this is the fastest thing I've ever bought a car from any dealership in Central Illinois, there's no sitting around for 5 or 6 hours waiting for individuals to talk to one another it was done quickly sufficient and professionalism a wonderful experience, I will be retiring here in about 8 to 10 months and I will sell my 2018 ram truck to lighthouse that's the goal. Brady used professionalism and answered all my questions that I had. He even brought the vehicle to me to look at because I was unable to drive at that time due to a procedure I just had. GMC Terrain test drive went amazing, and it was so smooth. I was set and left with exactly what I wanted quickly. Very clean, very professional, and such nice people. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

After some time and reflection, I'm going to update my review. I'm not intending to be cruel, but I think a fair and honest review of my experience is warranted. Lighthouse is an OK dealership, but I found most practices to be the same as any other dealership. When I purchased in January, masks were still required. While my wife and I wore our mask, our salesperson never once even offered to put one on. I don't want this to be a mask debate, but rather, just common courtesy for someone in a sales position. Several other dealerships I visited, would put a mask on when they saw a masked customer approach. I wish lighthouse would have shown me that courtesy. When we arrived we were provided a folder which included a printout of a carfax report. The report indicated a sunroof inspection at some point in the past. I was concerned of a potential leak-seemed like an odd carfax entry. I just wanted the dealership to pour a 5 gallon bucket or two on top of the car. They offered to do that for $100. I wish they would have gone just a little above and beyond there, as I didn't think it was too much to request. I asked the salesperson for a copy of the service inspection so I could know all aspects of the vehicle condition. I simply wanted to know how much brake pad I had, and things like that. Salesperson indicated he would send the next day. I never received. I wish folks would follow through on their promises. Finally, within days of purchase, I noted a smell and heat coming from one wheel. I did know that lighthouse had replaced rotor and pads on this wheel while in inventory. I took it in and they found the caliper was bad and so was the brake hose. They fixed it for me under their 50/50 warranty. While that was nice, I feel like this existed prior to purchase and should have been found in their initial inspection, at least the hose. While their 3 mo warranty is great if something unforeseen breaks, I truly believe that fixing things that should have been caught in an inspection which they missed pre delivery, even on a used car, would be a nice gesture. They replaced the rotor so clearly they had inspected those brakes. I wish they would have admitted the miss and made it right. While in the entirety I'm not satisfied, I will mention their folks are pleasant, and the loaner they provided for the 6 days they had my car is a nice perk. This was my second purchase here, but I won't intentionally look to buy here again like I had this time around.

Brian helped me get in a great vehicle at a great price. No back and forth haggling and spent a total of about 30 minutes total. I saw the vehicle online, scheduled a test drive, and went back a couple days later to complete the purchase. These guys focus on customer service and it shows. I oversee a portfolio of Marriott hotels and every moment of my interactions with the service department reminded me of a hotel check in, complete with valet and complimentary beverages. As I waited in the lounge area, I noticed every single employee acknowledge every customer in passing in a friendly and welcoming manner. I felt right at home. I was given detailed inspection report and felt satisfied with the experience. I have owned new Mercedes, Jaguar, Volkswagen, Dodge, Chrysler, and Chevrolet. This was the first GMC vehicle I’ve had, and the first time I’ve had service at this dealership. Out of all the dealerships and experiences I’ve had in the past, this dealership does everything correctly and gives the impression they really care about their customers experience.

Buying a car from Joel at Lighthouse Buick was a joy and a breeze! I found the car I was interested in for my daughter online and arranged with Joel to drive it. From our first contact, Joel was friendly and helpful. While buying the car, I never felt like I was being rushed or pushed by anyone. After I bought the car and my daughter drove it a bit, I noticed a couple little cosmetic issues that probably should have been caught on pre-inspection. Although I bought the used car "as-is" there was never any doubt than Lighthouse and Joel were going to stand behind their vehicle and take care of the issues. I saw an equinox on fb called over and talked to Jon to see if it was available for test drive made appt for 11am. Arrived and took Jon on test drive with me cause I wasn't familiar with the area. Loved the vehicle then made a deal that I was.very happy with then decided to trade mine in they gave me a great price for my car more than I expected 😀 while waiting for financing many employees stopped by desk to see if I needed refreshments or anything while I was,waiting. Sealed deal and financed they filled my new one up with gas and gas me a cinnamon roll coffee cake and I was on my way home by 230. I am very happy with everyone I came into contact with there. Definitely recommend them 👌

had a good experience with lighthouse- I’ve been wanting to get out of my car for years and I really wanted a car with bells and whistles and Jearmy took care of all my needs and didn’t pressure me into something I did not want, we went back and fourth with bank getting a deal that’s in my budget but eventually we settled for a 2019 Nissan Altima SL with all the features and Even more then I expected, the downside Is the car had check engine light right after I bought it but lighthouse took care of it replaced the part causing it and while we was waiting for the part they kept me in loaners and took care of me and when the car was finished I got it drove it all over not a single problem and drives nice and smooth, out of hundreds of cars they sale it’s bound to happen one has an hick up that’s the nature of used cars but how they handled it shows their true colors and how customer focused they are, when Jearmy finally handed me my keys he gave me a huge cake treat and personally pumped me a full thing of gas I’ve been told dealerships don’t do that much anymore for new cars especially used cars but lighthouse stands out amongst the rest, I recommend them and I recommend Jearmy ask for him and tell him what u want in a vehicle he’ll hook you up also Jim in finance department sat down with me wasn’t pushy and walked me through stuff and didn’t try recommend useless things that wasn’t needed and when I asked him about Gap coverage and a little extra warranty he was able get it all in my budget, it took me a good half hour to an hour playing with calculator making sure I budget everything right and not spend way past my means and Jim was very patient and very understanding REALLY APPRECIATE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE😁

We have bought several vehicles over the years (probably 25 years) with Keith as our salesman, but I tell you he treats Lighthouse Automotive like it was his own, so much respect, knowledge, customer service, attention to detail and personable. UPDATE: My son's car from our first purchase listed below is still on the road and doing well. It's been a good college vehicle on the hills of Iowa. I absolutely believe God led me back here to replace my totalled truck. I purchased a newer (2013) car from Brian on 23Nov19. Totalling a vehicle is a traumatic experience for anyone, and the last thing anyone needs is to follow that up with a bad buying experience. Brian and Jim made my time there about as stress free as it could be. None of the back and forth with managers and everything was above table and forthright. There were no surprises after the sale (with numbers or vehicle) and I felt at peace when driving my purchase off of the lot. They even helped with the extended warranty. Do yourself a favor and go see the folks at Lighthouse. 1ST POST: My son got a used car (2008) from Lighthouse that underwent their inspection process. The sales staff was extremely accommodating and helpful by not burying him in a high maintenance vehicle. They even drove the final paperwork 2 hours to our house to have signed! We've used the service department twice and they were very reasonably priced for a dealership. We will definitely shop there again.

I have bought quite a few cars over the years but never have I had such a pleasant experience, I had told Ruth what I was looking to do a few weeks ago and she told me that she would call if something became available I really did not expect a call back but to my surprise she did and she gave me the time to think about the car she had for me no pressure then she put me in touch with Jon Thorpe and he did the numbers, and he gave me time to think again I never felt once that I was talking to a car salesman or dealership instead like friends Jon is such a super nice family oriented guy that went above and beyond, the offer for my car was well above what the other dealerships wanted to give me. The way everything was done I did not have to spend half a day at the dealership either, you can really tell that they all enjoy their jobs and people and I will never do business at a different dealership again, I will refer anyone I know that is looking for a vehicle to them. Great experience from start to finish. I really put them to the test coming in on a Saturday afternoon with only an hour and a half before they closed. I set up an appt. online and the vehicle was ready to show when we pulled up. We were greeted with smiling friendly employees as soon as we entered the building. We met Jon Tharp, our salesman and he took great care of us. The while process only took a few hours, but they took their time, taking care of all the details. As I began my search for a replacement of my hated 2021 4-runner (aka Japanese Tahoe) I discovered this peculiar dealership that appeared to be named after a structure built in it's very parking lot. Yes, you guessed it, a lighthouse. This lighthouse is not surrounded by vessel destroying rocks and rough waters, but instead by a sea of Buicks and GMC's. In my quest for a return to the creature comforts of an American suv I made evident to my salesman Jake that I was a common man with a commoner's budget. He pointed me in the direction of a used but mint 2017 Yukon Denali with the coveted 6.2L direct injection V8 and I immediately recognized the feeling of being back home. The paperwork end of the deal felt expedited compared to previous car purchases and we were quickly on to trading keys and getting the run down from Jake on the workings of the Denali's expansive interior, in which he was very fluent. As I was preparing to depart I carefully phrased a question for Jake as to make it seem my son was the one asking but it was in fact me that was curious as to how the lighthouse functioned. He informed me it was a simple electric lamp at the top and the dealership did not in fact employ a lightkeeper to continually maintain wicks and whale oil. Very interesting. In conclusion of my dealings with Lighthouse: Pros: Fast paperwork and not pushy on service contracts, paid my asking price for trade-in, pro animal rights by not burning whale oil in their lighthouse,salesman was knowledgeable of the powertrain and features of the Yukon. Cons: the lighthouse is not near a navigable body of water, many of their vehicles are equipped with adaptive cruise control.

Jake was our salesman. He was awesome. Very helpful, nice, answered all questions about the car, & the kind of guy you’d want to hang out with for awhile. He added a personal touch to the car buying experience. I really think he is the same great guy on or off the sales floor. Jim in finance was great to work with as well. We all shared some stories. The whole team was great. Hospitality, & feeling welcomed is top notch. Will buy there again for sure when the time comes.

Excellent transaction with good communication during the sales process long distance. They had a driver for my GMC Yukon deliver the vehicle to me in Windsor, Colorado. I would highly recommend should you find a quality vehicle. They replaced the tires, brakes, shocks and repaired a dent prior to closing the sale.

Best car buying experience ever! We saw a used vehicle they had and made our deal online and over the phone. When we arrived, we were greeted by Jon. He was so nice and just seemed like such genuine person. He went over so many things with us about the car.
