Liberty Tax S Main St, Lapeer

Havent received my refund nor any comunication from them. Seems to be always closed.it is now thursday june 30th 2pm and they dont open again til monday?

Filed taxes for 2018 here and had nothing but problems. The workers here were not properly trained and it made the filing process long and difficult even though I have a very simple non-itemized return. Between the 2 women working while I was there, neither one of them could figure out how to file for local taxes in the city of lapeer, even though the office Is located in lapeer so they even have to file their own local taxes here, so you would think they would have an idea of what they are doing. Especially for the price they are charging. They lure you in with offers for discounts of $50 cash, but then on the back end they will take out extra fees that they dont tell you about and that also aren't included on the invoice/bill you get from them that includes all theother charges and filing fees. I was told I'm on my own as far as filing local taxes and there is nothing they can do for me, and as far as the $49.95 hidden fee that they take without telling you, they just told me that's too bad and I'm just not getting that money back. Super disappointed all around and I definitely will not be coming back

Did taxes last year and was audited. paid for the garuntee and it's been almost 10 months and haven't received a check from federal or state. If I read the garuntee right it says in the event of a audit that I would still receive my refund and liberty tax would cover any penalty by the IRS WHERE'S MY REFUND!!!!

I've came to this office 2 years in a row because Angela is a great tax preparer I haven't had any issues with my returns was approved for a loan quickly and received it quickly I would recommend liberty tax in lapeer mi to anyone that wants there taxes done by a professional thank you

My preparation representative was awesome but timing and everything after has totally sucked I'd rather pay higher prices than go here again.
