Jenny was great! I will definitely come here again next year. She was thorough, kind and efficient. She answered all my questions patiently. Also, this year was the fastest I ever got my tax refund after filing and I waited until the end of March to do it!

I was totally impressed with my experience at Liberty Tax. Jenny was nice and patient and took her time to explain the forms and also went over my last year’s form. I definitely will be back next tax season. Thank you again you made this process less stressful this year.

On February 8th my wife and I had the pleasure of having Donna Smiley prepare and finalize our taxes. We were late for our first appointment so Donna told us to leave them with her and she would take care of it. When we returned the following evening Donna had everything done and ready for us. Something that in the past seemed so stressful with H&R Block Donna made us feel at home and taken care of as a father and mother of 5 having one less thing to worry about means more then anyone can imagine. We will definitely be back next year.

A few years ago, I had zero experience with filing taxes in USA and the all idea was overwhelming (to say the least). However, I was lucky enough to find an expert team that took the time to understand my case and help me providing all the details in English and Spanish. Donna Smiley is my go to person at Liberty. She is professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about all the facets of the tax code, both state and federal. She always finds ways to maximize your return, and gives advice as to how to do better the following year. I’ve recommended her to my family, friends, and acquaintances…she’s that good!

I had gotten behind about getting my taxes done this year and knew a popular competitor would not be able to complete mine on time so I went back to Liberty Tax service in West Chester, PA after six years. I spoke with Jenny (who recognized me!) on Saturday April 15 around closing time and she was so nice and assured me that if she couldn’t complete it then she would initiate an extension for me. She called me on Tuesday to say it was completed and that I had to come in to get it with time to go home to write a check to mail out a payment before the post office closed! Everything went great and I now know where to go next year. Not only was she able to complete my return, but the price was considerably less than the other place I didn’t mention by name earlier. It went so smoothly and I think I volunteered to be the Statue of Liberty mascot waving to passing cars in 2023! Honk if you see me! 🚃🚡

I came in for a walk-in appointment and I was immediately aided by the professionals in the building. When it comes to taxes I had no clue what I was doing but they made it seem simple. Jenn was an amazing help and made the whole experience stress free

This year was my first year filing taxes as a new small business owner and Donna Smiley was so patient and helpful with making sure I had all the correct documents and getting me through the tax preparations step by step ! I am so thankful for her!

My husband and I had sought out their service this year. Overall, the actual tax filing was okay. The reason we gave it two stars is because we were not very pleased with the quality of service that we received. For example, when discussing some decisions regarding my tax filing, if we asked questions, the responses were not thorough enough. But more importantly, the responses were often given with an attitude. Also, there were issues with our appointments. First, we visited there four times. During one of those times, we had to wait for more than 20 minutes to be seen even though our appointments were scheduled in advance. The second time we ended up just leaving because there was no end in sight for the person in front of us. We understand that an emergency can happen but we felt that they do not value our schedules, especially considering that they also called us around 9:00 pm randomly to ask important tax questions (without prior notice). Additionally, they did not give us a timeline to know when our future appointments may be. Instead, we received a sudden phone call, and we were told a random time and day that they were available without being asked when we were actually available. Finally, their email communication is lacking. If you are currently working with them and not receiving any emails back make sure you check your spam folder because we had some confusion because of that situation. They were receiving my emails stating that “I was waiting for their reply”. Instead of calling me to see why I am not receiving their emails, they continued to send email replies which Ianded in the spam folder. I would have liked it if they reached out to me when they received multiple emails from me asking why they were not replying to clarify what was happening. But, the job was done. That’s why we gave it two stars. More clarified timelines and better communications would be beneficial for this place.
