My car broke down in Minnesota at 3 degrees outside. Trying to get a tow only to be routed by an app that wasn't working so I called customer service. Automated again so I gave a text back number. No response. So I called every number on my card and they were all automated without any person to person help. I had to call a towing company to get help and it is 14 hours later and still can't get in touch with anyone at Liberty Mutual and no-one has text me back. Thank you LM for all your help (not) and you have the nerve to take damn near $300 a month without hesitation but your follow thru is garbage.

Horrible customer service. My car insurance premium increased $200/year reasons for unknown to me (No tickets, accidents within 10 years). When I inquired about this to my "Agent", I was redirected via email to 3 different people over 7 days and finally received an automated email asking me to call and discuss. The number in the email was the standard 800 number for liberty mutual. I promptly changed insurance companies.

When a letter comes to my house with an envelope saying "time sensitive information enclosed" and then what is enclosed is actually an advertisement for your company... I instantly switch to disliking your company. I don't deal with tricksters. Are you trying to get me to sign up for insurance without me realizing it? C'mon

They have saved me close to 50 % on my house insurance when in a time I need to be on a budget more than ever !!!

The fact that it took 4 people to solve a simple issue is just sad. Than they lie and take money they shouldn’t.

I was left stranded by Liberty Mutual last night after my car got stuck in snow. At first the lady helping me tried to argue that I am not stuck due to mechanical failure therefore may not be covered by roadside assistance. Of course I didn't buy into that and asked for towing service. I was told that my help will arrive but nothing yet and it has been almost 24 hours now. I ended up calling a towing service after spending almost 3 hours without help. Today I just bought a different car insurance and took the time from my busy schedule to inform others.

Very very bad insurance service.. Please never ever take them. My car was hit by a liberty mutual policy holder's car, as he was not looking at the road and looking down and ended up colliding my car. I m following up with Liberty mutual to get my car repair taken care of since its their fault, but they don't give any response nor assign any adjuster and trying to escape. Please be aware of this company and don't risk buying their insurance. Its a very very bad company.

Saw the bad comments, but disagree with them. I have had a great experience with Liberty Mutual. They have worked with me to keep prices down with three teens driving.

I worked with Anthony, who answered my questions in a timely fashion and was super helpful. Not to mention, I saved WAY more than I expected and I shopped around for a good long while.
