Took an advance for seasonal inventory. Will never work with them again. They filed a UCC-1 lien with the State Division of Corporations against my company. There was no disclosure in the contract that they were going to do this. I've used several other advance companies before to defray the cost of seasonal inventory purchases and NEVER had this happen before. UCC-1 liens are typically filed only when there is a default not when the loan is paid current and on-time because this is a public document that can seriously impact a business' operations and reputation. In addition we now get 4-5 calls and letters every day from companies that found the UCC-1 and are hawking their "re-negotiation" strategies...wasting even more of our company resources and time. If you have any business sense, and value your public reputation and credibility, don't do business with this company.
