Bad place, they take something of value and try to appraise low. This way they can steal your stuff and make a profit for themselves. If you are desperate for money go to them.

I have used many pawn shops over the years and Lake St. Pawn is one of the best pawn shops I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The customer service is outstanding. The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome in their shop. They are always more than fair with their prices and are always willing to give you a full explanation of how they came up with pricing for any item you bring in. More times than not chain pawn stores lose the personability that an independent shop like Lake St. Pawn can offer. On top of that they are always flexible which many stores are not. If you run into a tough situation they are always willing to work with you. If you are looking to pawn, buy, or sell anything look no further than LSP they are hands down going to be your best option. I am glad that I found them! I will also mention that I have been appraising items for pawn shops for a few years now, and when people give terrible reviews it usually means that they are not educated on how pawn shops operate. For example; the appraisal process and the reasons why they have to price things a particular way, and some people don't understand how much risk is being taken on by the owners and why they can't provide retail price offers when buying items or lending money. I feel this needs to be mentioned because this shop truly has a firm understanding of the market and always gives more than fair appraisals and loans.

This pawn shop offered me the best price for my gold. The owner is very nice, fair, and reasonable. I wish all pawn shop are like this one.

Impossible to shop or buy in person. Don’t bother visiting if you are looking to buy anything. Waste of time.
