Lafayette State Bank Grand St, Live Oak

This is the worst bank I've ever dealt with. This branch in Live Oak needs to be dumped upside down and started over. They make account decisions without asking the account holder. There is zero security. The staff is RUDE. There is no such thing as friendly service, ease of accessibility for account holders or convenience to handle issues. But it certainly appears easy and convenient for thieves to access our accounts and staff to make unilateral account decisions that usually require account holder notification or authorization.

This is the worst bank. Someone withdrew $800. from my account and they never notified me. Told me I had to get my money back myself. Called the President/CEO(?) he never returned my call. Please think twice about using this bank.

What a wonderful experience! We just moved to the area and needed to find a bank to handle our personal and business needs. I did extensive research and zeroed in on Lafayette State Bank. I am so glad I did! Chelsea, in the live oak office, spent no less than 2 hours getting all of our accounts set up and answered all of my questions. She was so patient and helpful as we worked our way through the 4 bank accounts and debit cards setup exactly as I needed them. She even went the extra mile to call my previous bank to verify the funds that I used to open my accounts, so that they would be available immediately to use. I am so happy that I settled on Lafayette as my new bank.

Worst experience ever!!! If you have no overdraft guess what???? They will let you get overdrafted charge $35 which is fine but then everyday you stay in the negative they charge you $5/day. The lady that was supposed to help (Alyssa Perez) was extremely rude. I was talking to my husband and was saying I don't understand how they charge you for overdraft when you said you don't want it and steadily charge you everyday her response was And who are you??? I reply I'm his wife then she says if you're not on the account I won't deal with you but I can help him if he sits down...totally disrespectful. I will never come here again and be completely disrespected.

Took out a loan and the process was completely terrible start to finish. All I can say is deal only with seasoned loan officers. We will not do business here after our loan term.

It can not get any worse than this. Never had a bank be so difficult in making deposits and withdrawals. System always down, or problems with debit card machine. Cust service is worthless. beware of security issues as well. Most incompetent bank I have ever dealt with. Dont waste your time with this organization.

Horrible security for accounts. The system they use always has issues. Had to get 3 debit cards replaced in a 6 month period. 2 due to fraud and 1 due to there system crashing. Cannot solve problems with accounts. Cannot talk to anyone above manager pay.had my new card for 3 weeks and no fraud this time,but they deactivated my card and want me to leave work to get a new card....not a fix. on top of that they would be quick to charge an overdraft fee but won't reimburse there customers for not having access to their own money.

While they were doing the upgrade thing that takes 36 to 48hrs my check was suppose to be deposited instead it didnt and when i had to go inside they said the money is there but they cant see it and guess what they took the money i needed out of my other checking account that i was using for my bills and not the account that my check is usually deposited in
