KLS Financial Services Reviews

They really like to play stupid at this place. I set up a payment arrange to have $350+ taken out monthly and split between two accounts. I noticed it was only being applied to one account only. I called in and spoke to Ms. Johnson and she said she wasn’t sure why that was happening but would make a note for the next month or something of that sort. I didn’t believe her so I canceled automatic withdrawal for this reason. I went online and made a payment for A SPECIFIC account and they again, took it from that account and applied it to the other account. I’m not sure what they are gaining from this but keeping me from getting rid of the smallest account sooner than later. When I asked why was that happening, she didn’t have a clue. So moving forward, I’m going to contact the business themselves and see if I can make direct payment. I could of been done paying one account off long ago! But they refuse to apply my payments to that account specifically, especially since I was promised that they would remove it off my credit once it’s paid off. This is clearly their way of prolonging removing any of the accounts by just adding all the funds to the highest balance.

Constant calls and hang ups with no voice mail reported to the Consumer services of NC and filed an FCC report on the numerous numbers they utilize to call from .. No I don’t want to speak with a supervisor your company knows full well to follow training. You guide Reps to perform in this manner. My number is private and not listed yet you obtained it illegally and call it relentlessly. Zero professionalism and ethics.. Now you can deal with a FCC Do Not Call complaint of which I have recorded your none stop multiple daily call records ..
Respectfully, this is not possible. How do you claim we have zero professionalism and ethics and that you do not want to speak to a supervisor, if you clearly haven't tried? I think you would be surprised at the result. The very first thing our company would do once we have made sure you are the correct party is remove your number if you do not want it called. I will assure you we do not GUIDE reps to perform in a manner to repeatedly call the same number and we do not have enough time to repeatedly call a number if it isn't answering. That doesn't make sense for our business. We have processes in place that actually block the number from being called again, if you are receiving repeated calls it is not from us. We do attempt to alert consumers if they have an item that may be credit reported and to offer an opportunity to take care of the item. There are plenty of folks who are grateful that we took the time to alert them. I assure you though, it is NOT us repeatedly calling you.

Very disappointed with this company. The first time they called they text and ask when they can me back. I told them to call the next morning, and they never even called. So I went online and made a payment. Then I get a phone call a week after making an online payment, I was working and missed the call. I tried to email them and ask them why are they calling as I made a payment online and I am going to continue to pay monthly. - No one responded!! Then today, Then send me a text and say they received my payment but they want automatic payments, really??? I don't want to do that or I would have done it right??, so it's apparently not good enough that someone is trying to pay! Wow
Thank you for the feedback. Without looking into your file, I can't hunt down the details to perhaps target where we could improve. I will confirm that when we text and someone requests a call back that would be sent to a rep to call back. I am sorry that you missed our call. I also would like to know who was assigned to call you so that I can improve the timeliness of that call back. Perhaps it was unintentially assigned to someone who was off and we could certainly tighten that up on our side. Thank you for making a payment by the way! Often when a consumer request a call they may need some added clarification regarding the client's bill. Therefore a payment doesn't always equate to us not following up. There are also benefits to securing a payment plan such as credit reporting holds if the timeline qualifies, taking your account out of active collections because you have communicated a plan. I guess KLS thought this would be helpful not annoying or make someone feel like the fact they made a payment towards their balance was not enough. A follow up text would have been sent to alert you that the payment was received as well and there is an option for automatic payments. I am really sorry you are disappointed.

It pays to know the laws and your legal rights. do not let these people call you in an attempt to scare you. you always have the right to reach out to the original debtor you do not have to settle with these snakes I'm definitely not upset with you...your agent that subscribed me to your system without my consent is the snake... I asked a question and the response was I'm not going to combat you. Much like your defensive response lol i have the screen shots if you would like me to publicly share.
My first response, is we certainly aren't snakes. Yes, it is good to know the laws. I think you meant the original creditor ? We do not call in any attempt to scare anyone. We do reach out to alert folks. Clients place their accounts in our office and sometimes our call is not expected. Our intention is to notify the consumer, and help the creditor resolve the account. I am sorry you are upset with us.

I worked with Mrs. Johnson about a debt that accidentally was sent to the wrong address, she explained easily and got me set up quickly. It got paid in no time and gave me reassurance that everything was set up. A great time for some rough stuff.

Collections are a scary thing to deal with when you see them on your credit report. But you are In good hands with KLS. Jessica went above and beyond to help me . She's very nice, informative and is a pleasure to work with. I am very grateful that she helped me get everything resolved . You're awesome! Thank you to Kathryn as well! Another good one right there. Ideally you wouldn't want to talk to any collections companies but sometimes you make mistakes. If you get sent to these guys everything will be okay. trust me.
WOW! Thanks for the kudos. To be sure, people make mistakes and there are oversights in our busy lives. There are so many services, that tell consumer's to call them instead of us direct. Why? Because we are mean? No, we are not. The simplest solution really is to call us first and see if between us we can figure out the best solutions. Thanks for having a great attitude Kevin, and sharing good advice.

your blurb about changing the face and you are more than collectors is not true. We are you.We know you. We know my problems? seriously, you were no help. not flexible. unwilling to listen or offer options. you were zero help. do yourself a favor and just be authentic by removing statements of who you are, off your page.

Ms Johnson was my representative, she was helpful, I'm not happy with the original company I had an account with because I was already making payments because they charged me 600 dollars for a corona test with them and they sent my account here. But you live and learn, Ms Johnson put a hold on things so my account wouldn't get sent to my credit report so that was nice of her
Thank you Giovanni. It is nice to hear from someone who has your perspective. I am glad to hear you had a good experience with us and you didn't shoot the messenger! All the best and I will share your review with Ms. Johnson.

I don't take threats lightly, the agents from KLS are not professional. Using fear and brash treatments are not necessary. I had a family member suffering from stage 4 cancer causing a delay in my payment, so I didn't appreciate their settlement tactics.

Settling my account was the most horrific experience I could've ever imagined. Thank you, Sharlene Scott. She is a manipulative liar and is possibly the most unprofessional person I've ever spoken to in customer service. I was harassed to no end by these people. They obviously need better training.
