Kitsap Credit Union does not seem to appreciate their responsibility in handling people's money. I gave them 1k a WEEK AGO to set up an account. I was supposed to get a call in 1-2 days, but I haven't heard from anyone in a full week. I have an EMPTY ACCOUNT, and I have no idea when I will be able to get access to my money, because they totally flaked me. I can't wait to get this sorted out so I can find a more professional bank to do business with.

No credit union branch can tell you if they open on Saturdays, the automated system is fake, junk and doesn't connect you to where you need to go. All run around. Scale from 1-5, negative 0.

I love the Kitsap Credit Union Branch! From the first day I walked in the doors to setup my accounts, to my continued interactions online, in the drive true or inside. I just wanted to say how happy I've been since I switched to KCU! Every one of my banking needs gets taken care of. When I have questions, they are addressed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I switched over when my own bank of some years wouldn't approve me for an auto loan for my first new car. KCU did it without question and I changed banks the very next opportunity that I had. Thank you to all the staff at KCU!!!

My debit card isn’t working. The reason why is a mystery, there’s money in my account. I checked my balance on the mobile app before making an attempt to call customer service. I literally never have to call in for anything so I couldn’t remember my pass phrase. The guy I got on the phone (and after putting me on a long hold his higher ups also agreed) that there was no way into the account without it. An alternative such as security questions, should be available to verify identity in the event people can’t remember their passphrase, I can’t be the only person this has happened to. I was told the only fix was for me to go into a branch or drive through with my ID and have the code removed. Which is a huge inconvenience because I work the exact same hours the bank is open. So until I can figure out a time to take off work which feels completely unnecessary, I’m left without a debit card and without a way to access the funds in my own account. I’m not even sure why the card isn’t working to begin with.

Collections department Refused my payment and cursed at me. When I asked to speak to someone out of collections they told me no. This resistance began after making a warranty claim with dealership and being denied to recieve warranty work I then began to recieve resistance from bank so I can only assume they are working together to make my life miserable neither the bank or dealership understand without a working vehicle a gig worker which they approved the loan on this income can not survive without a working vehicle I have tried to resolve the matter on many occasions but they have no interest in getting the loan back on track or assisting me with getting the vehicle fixed I once praised this bank but I now see the true colors of there system and it is corrupt to say the least and not trustable I am willing to discuss the matter to this day come to an agreement and continue making payments they know this but payment is refused help is refused so my hands are tied this credit union isn't for the customers they are for themselves I wish I was here reporting a good experience like all other reviews I leave but I am not

Do NOT get a Visa card through Kitsap CU. There is no way to setup autopay with a non-KitsapCU account. I have to take a picture of a paper check and move it around accounts every month to pay my bill. Customer support was abysmal.

I always tell others about " MY CREDIT UNION". Its the best and owned by it's members and not share holders. My Credit union looks out for me, my family and my money. There is no comparison...none! The branch manager recently used "her" credit card at a merchant to have a look at an issue I was having and called me to report what she found and cleared up the issue. WHO DOES THAT? MY Credit Union, thats who. My Parents were members and I joined in 1991 and will be there until I die. Its that GREAT! I Thank every employee for what they bring to MY credit Union! Its the BEST!

Everytime i call them no one answers the phone, I have been waiting on an answer since they opened and it's almost 10am. I don't appreciate it. What's the point of having a phone if you don't answer it. By the way this happened to me at LEAST 7 times that I have called them and when I go in and ask why I get non sense of oh that's not true.
