We have been working with Kinney Insurance for many years. Their entire team is friendly and responds to questions immediately. Mike Hugart is our go to guy for everything insurance related, from our home, boat and several businesses. He takes the time to review and explain various options. Extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy! On top of that, its a Vermont, family owned company.

Lisa Cassidy was amazing. I contacted her just to see if I could get a better rate than what I currently had. Not only did she point out that the coverage I had was not good ( when I moved to Vermont from Florida, I had called the national company I had coverage with and I went with what was recommended to me) Lisa found me a new company, with almost 3 times the coverage that I previously had and it was $200 a year less I was paying! It also is a yearly policy not a 6 month policy. She did all of this quickly and she made the transition easy for me. I highly recommend Lisa Cassidy at Kinney Insurance Agency.

Michael Hughart at Kinney Insurance Agency is awesome to work with. He's worked on multiple policy for me and each time i don't feel like i just signed with an agent. When i work with Michael, i know I'm getting experience and service. Unlike other agents that just sell insurance, he actually acts as a responsive representatives of his clients. If you ever have to file a claim, Michael will be a great support service to help you coordinate with the carrier; he just doesn't throw you to the carriers that are unfamiliar with you. Michael is the definition of what it means to represent someone. On a past incident, i had no clue about what to do and carriers were not open at 4am to ask question, however Michael knew me and represented me. He worked with me step-by-step to ensure i was getting the right update, and to just check in that we were okay. I never heard of Kinney Insurance before, but i know Michael and i know the work he prides himself on accomplishing. I've also worked with other carriers that never took the time to know me and only reached out when they saw contracts were going up.

We truly appreciated the prompt response from Andy at Kinney. He was truly professional and was able to provide us what we needed even though it was a bit "outside the box", and he did it in a timely fashion. He also made it as painless for us as he possibly could! Thank you Andy!!!

After 10+ years with a different local company and thinking they were ok, I made a couple calls to check on price of home and auto through Kinney. Mike Hughart got me significantly better rates and is always super responsive. I am rarely impressed by quality of service, and insurance was one place I never would have thought I would find it, but I am impressed and pleased with my first 6 months.
