My husband and I have worked with Paul Eldridge at Keystone Mortgage for years and thanks to him, we've been able to get competitive rates for several mortgages. I have tried doing this ourselves by going to lending marketplaces (i.e. lendingtree, etc). That was a total nightmare as I was inundated with calls from so many different mortgage lenders and none were helpful or looking at my best interests. I suddenly felt like I was bleeding in crocodile-infested waters (no joke!). Even after having to share information with them repeatedly and getting the rates, I decided to work with Paul and the rates he was able to help me find was still better than all of the others.
