KeyBank Hartford Tpke, Vernon

Forth time receiving poor customer service from banker Paro. Only interested in signing/opening new accounts. Not interested in helping or understanding your needs and makes up policy rules. This is verified because I'm able to complete my requests through the KeyBank customer service afterwards.

Seeing all of the negative reviews for this branch, I had to come and write about my own experience here - I have been to this branch twice now and have had nothing but friendly and helpful service. Once I was simply depositing a check, but the second time I had a situation that needed to be taken care of, and it was handled quickly and professionally, and I was treated with nothing but respect. I'm a new customer and I am very happy with my new bank!

Don't bother doing any promotional opening of accounts with them because every time you check to see where the promotional money is they come up with a new requirement . I only opened this account to get that extra $100 and to get my friend her 50. I would have opened with Webster bank where I already have an account if i knew I'd keep getting this run around. On top of that, now if I want to cancel the account, they're gonna charge me to cancel. I will be calling nbc troubleshooters if I don't get the money by the end of the month, which is tomorrow.

So I went to go cash a check that my mom got in the mail signed it over to me went to the bank that it was made from which is KeyBank and now they're trying to tell me we don't accept third party checks are you serious it is drawn from your own bank.

If I could provide a negative reading I would every single person that works in this branch is horrible they treat their customers like their enemies not customers they make up rules to things to fit their needs and to punish customers when they don't like them do not bank with these people they are horrible unfortunately I am stuck with them because they bought out my mortgage from First Niagara but if I could close it like I did the checking in the savings account I would everyone beware

I had an excellent experience applying for a mortgage at this location. Kate (personal banker) explained all of my options and how Key determines affordability. I also worked with MacKenzie (loan originator), who responds very quickly and always follows through. This was the first and only place I inquired for my mortgage and I'm glad I did! I also have an auto loan with Key. I'm surprised by all of these negative reviews. People are more likely to spend their energy writing a review if their experience was poor, rather than positive. It's clear that many don't understand or lack the patience to understand that company policies are out of control of the employees.

Worst bank, system always glitching and not processing correctly. Charging incorrect fees lately. Terrible customer service today at this keybank in vernon the lady working in the middle right office part. She clearly doesnt know how to do her job! Helped me with nothing so I left and called over the phone right away and got better service. Helped me with all my problems. Probably should hire less lazy workers and fix your systems malfunctions trying to steal peoples money.

Hate Key Bank! Loyal Customer for thirty years and they won't cash my paycheck. Calling CT ATTORNEY GENERAL to file a complaint

Honestly Im only giving them 2 stars because theyre opening later than the other branches near by, but the staff usually has an attitude except one or two members. I try to avoid this branch unless Ive missed the other hours at the Manchester location.

Terrible bank. Lousy customer service. Avoid Key Bank at all costs. Go somewhere else.
