Went to deposit money out of my account on the ATM machine after 5 PM (around 5:40) and the ATM machine started glitching and eventually broke down while trying to do the transaction....and kept my card. I had to leave my card in the machine as no one was there to help. Really unbelievable.

The worst banking experience I’ve ever had in N.Y.C, (and I’ve lived here since 1987). I have been trying to set up an estate account for the past five weeks, for a relative for which I am the administrator for; the first time I visited, the manager had me wait over an hour, then copied all my documents, and said he’d get back to me after he contacted legal. Five weeks later, after numerous emails and phone calls I got an appointment. I rode my bike in from Brooklyn. When I arrived, he made me wait another ten minutes, then when he walked over, he asked me who I was. Then he informed me that legal had in fact not gotten back to him, I’d have to come back again. Now I see why all they do is process unemployment checks. It’s no TD bank, where customer service actually happens. Don’t let Manhattan’s Key Bank happen to you. You can do MUCH BETTER.

Absolute worst service I have experienced by far!!! For months I have been ignored and on the slim chance I am able to actually speak to someone they are never of any help. I had my card stolen, did the right thing and locked it due to the thief spending my money. I try to get a replacement card and for the last 4 months they have given me countless excuses as to why i can not receive a new card. I even squared things away with unemployment services but they sent me right back to Key and I am absolutely fed up at this point! No one has managed to help me, real or automated and its all over an apartment number! Avoid business with this bank, please save yourself the wasted calls and excuses!!!

Anyone who voluntarily puts their money in this bank is crazy!! And if you are getting unemployment on their key card i highly suggest you take it out ASAP!! Set up direct deposit with another bank! Customer service reps our shady! I believe they are giving out peoples information so they can steal your money! One Customer service rep made changes to my account unauthorized, and i never recieved my card it was activated by someone else!! PLEASE BEWARE!! Take your money out keybank!!!!

The banking experience is by far the worst in the country. Online banking couldn't help and asked me to go to the branch to verify info. I did and waited for over 1 hour with an agent over there, simply because the branch would need to wait for the line to go through to their fraud dept. I was trying to close the account and they asked me to wait for a week. It's been 4 months and after multiple attempts to reach out to the branch to close it out, they were not responding even once. STAY AWAY FROM KEYBANK!

Hey im using via email to communicate because its been hard and rough times to call through phone, im calling because on friday of last week, i wasn't able to log in into my key2benefits account so i called keybank in regards to help me sign back in which they did, the following day saturday of last week i wanted to log in wasn't able too. So i tried the same process and it worked, but i didn't bother checkin my account i just wanted to check if it would work to sign in, I tried monday that just passed and again it wouldn't let me sign in. So right there I knew something was up. i checked my balance and all i had left was 4 thousand. I saw transactions that were made that i did not have knowledge or consent of. Someone was able to steal my identity and somehow still was able to get cash from my account. I called keybank told them what happened for them to cancel my card, report it as stolen and lost and told me they were going to send me a new card, when i never even lost my card in the first place. they then transferred me to the department of prepaid dispute center to do a fraugalant claim but then told me that the department of labor declined it. all week trying to get a understanding of why my claim got denied. and no nobody else had access to my card. I LOST A TOTAL OF 5000$ DOLLARS THIS IS A INSIDE JOB.

I have been calling for a month. My money from NYSDOL unemployment is in The account but they wont send me a new card because account is on hold. All they say is call nysdol but when i call them no one can understand why my key bank is on hold. There is no date of account being on hold. People are suffering out here and no cares until its them. Karma is real! Take ur money asap out of this bank!!!!

Even a 1 star is too much for this bank. I am a New York state resident, and I tried calling all of their banks in NY and none of them EVER pick up the call. TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE. From 2021, I am clueless as to why I wasn't mailed my Unemployment Key2Benefits card. They don't send any emails regarding tracking your card and don't even let you speak to a REAL HUMAN representative. They keep making you speak to robots who keep directing you to their stupid website which is absolutely NO HELP. I was only given one option, to cancel my card. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL BANK. YOU ARE WARNED!

I’ve just waited 4 hours on the phone to not be helped. I need to access my key2benefits card to transfer the funds so I can pay rent, but the very PIN I set and then used to register somehow isn’t working. The online portal to register through the debit card digits literally fails because the page “doesn’t exist”. And each time I call I’m left on hold for hours. Disgusting experience with this bank, and a shameful system they have going here.

I can't believe how this "bank "works. My unemployment card was declined and blocked since two weeks ago. I checked my balance and my money is there. I've been calling for this past two weeks, they just kept me on hold for two hours. I know that since the unemployment card doesn't count as an account with this bank they just tell you "you have to call to this number" I sent an email, I went personally to the branch and there's no solution beside "call to the phone number" Please! THIS SYSTEM ISN'T WORKING!! you are playing with people's time and money. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER.

Worst experience ever! Waited more than 3 weeks to get a card. Representatives don't Have any idea how to talk to customers. I spoke to a very rude lady from the customer service named Gracie, who couldn't help at all and plus had to keep me an extra hour just because she wasn't willing to do her work properly. Take your money out of this so called bank.
