Josh Bartlett and Candice Day at Finance of America made buying a home a really easy experience. They are very knowledgeable and professional, but spoke with me as if they had known me forever! They made me feel very comfortable and answered any questions I had! It was a pleasure to work with a local lender and not have to be "just a number". If your looking for a mortgage company to inform you on the night before you close on your house that nope, you do not have a loan and are denied. Then your in the right pace and this is the place for you. Thousands of dollars lost, supposedly pre-approved, Survey done, appraisals, inspections, septic pumped and also inspected. This was all for at 8 pm the night before we were all set to close, we received a call informing us that we were denied our mortgage. I have never experienced anything like what this company did. Do not waste your time here. Please learn from our mistake and do not put your family in the hands of this company. They are reckless, unprofessional, and have no care for you or your family.

Josh and his team are fantastic. He knows the business and is great at communication and setting realistic and honest expectations. From day one I knew we were in good hands. He is very responsive with any questions you may have, even if you're like me and as the same question 10 different times. We had an unrealistic clock as far as how fast we closed and needed the loan and Josh did not fail in any capacity. I'd not only recommend him but I definitely would and most likely will, use him again.
