I have never conducted an online review for any product or any service. This can be checked. But I really felt compelled to do so in this case. John and his team were fantastic in helping me through my very difficult circumstances to get a rate and close on the house the house I was buying. I’ve closed now and am moving in. Really, I cannot recommend John strongly enough. He is kind, helpful, and most of all, perhaps for me, a professional. In every single step of the way he was professional and helpful. Also, very clear about everything every step of the way. You will do yourself well to go with John and his team.

John is the easiest and most patient numbers guy to work with. I've financed 2 homes through him and done a refinance. He breaks things down in a way that makes it all seem manageable and is genuinely invested in making sure you understand every aspect of your financing. He also provides options and gives you both sides of each option so you feel confident making a fully informed decision. And for someone like me, who is not number-savvy at all, he was endlessly patient and responsive with all my emails, texts, and calls. Would 100% recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

My wife and I had quite an amazing experience with John Faria and Guaranteed Rate on the refinancing of our home. Everything was there that we would want in a refinance. John researched a loan for us that would fit our needs and gave us the best three options to choose from. He made us feel at ease and very comfortable with our choice. The communication during the process was so strong that we always knew where we stood and, unbelievably, never really had any questions. John eventually handed our loan off to his team which was incredibly strong as well. They also communicated with us every step of the way. John and his team provided us with a “task list” that was updated every few days. We would simply upload the information they needed to the task list and they would received it in seconds. If something needed to be signed, it was done via the “DocuSign” system. It may sound a little nerdy for me to say this, but the process was actually fun. The whole process took only a few weeks and we have a nice new 25-year loan with a super-low rate for our home. I highly recommend John Faria and Guaranteed Rate!

We got a great rate, and John was in communication the whole time so there was never a question that everything was on track to close on time. I'd say I'll gladly go back, but I'm pretty in love with the new house.
