We had a FANTASTIC experience, this was the easiest truck purchase my wife and i have ever had. Mark, our salesman and Todd , the sales manager , were both so friendly, enthusiastic, and really want to help us. We got the truck, the price, monthly payment that we wanted and left EXTREMELY SATISFIED. They offered drinks and snacks while we waited for papers to be drawn up. All in all this is an A number 1 , best in the business dealership. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping here for your next vehicle purchase . My experience at Joe Bowman Chevrolet was Great. I made an appointment with Amy 2 days prior to going to the Dealership. She was so kind enough to send me plenty of pictures of the SUV that I was interested in. The day of my appointment I was 20 minutes late due to traffic however I got a text asking if I was okay and if I was still on the way. I thought that was the kindest thing ever. Anyway Amy Showed me the SUV I was interested in plus Showed me some other options I asked about. I really liked The Chevy Equinox and it was a great price. Everyone at the Dealership was so awesome and friendly. We had a really late night due to me getting in so late and I felt so bad about that. However Amy and the staff was so friendly and even offered my daughter a coloring book to keep her occupied. Long story short Amy was amazing and I definitely recommend her and this dealership if you ever need to buy a new ride.

I recently bought a beautiful 2012 Chevrolet Silverado at Joe Bowman Auto Plaza. I had the pleasure to work with Canaan and Tony, which are two awesome guys that help me in the process to be able to purchase this truck. Everyone was very professional, genuine and extremely nice. When you walk in there, be ready to be treated like family and you’ll never be greeted without a smile.

Amy and the team at Joe Bowman are top notch. Found a truck they had online, went and test drove it, and about 2 1/2 hours later was driving home in it. Very genuine and not pushy at all like most dealerships today. Not pushy about warranties and all the other usual “stuff”. Will definitely do business there again!

My husband and I have a 2019 Chevy traverse lease that we were planning to just buy after the lease was over. After seeing how much used cars are going for, we have decided to switch out the 2019 lease for a 2022 same model since we have about $15,000 equity on it. My husband called the dealership to get an appraisal on the car and they told him to come on in. When he got there, they tried to tell him he couldn’t sell the car because he didn’t own it since it is a lease. Correct, but we have the option to buy our lease from GM and then sell it back to whoever we want. They offered him $3,500 after the “buy and sell” process… joke!!! We took our business to Reynolds in Orange County. Walked in the door, no hustle, got $15,000 clean in our pockets to put towards our new lease. Well worth the 1-hour drive!!! Please, please, if you decide to take your business to Joe Bowman Chevrolet in Harrisonburg, do your research first. These people will rip you off every step of the way if you let them.

I had the best and fastest car buying experience at Joe Bowman Chevrolet. They don’t pressure you or push you and they truly try and get you the best deal possible. It was a very relaxing and comfortable environment. Megan Pacheco-Ayala is a great sales person my wife and I highly recommend her. Everyone was absolutely incredible at Joe Bowman! We are from out of town and when we got in our 2021 GMC Sierra, the power steering notification came on and we clearly had no power steering. We googled the closest dealership and found Joe Bowman Auto Plaza and very glad we did. We pulled right in and we’re greeted by Chad and Brandon in the shop and were quick to get our truck in even though they were short staffed. They had us go into the sitting room which was clean and they toys for our children. Heather who was inside by the sitting area, was amazing and so friendly! She gave us some puzzles, stickers, crayons, and paper for our toddler to draw on. They had offered us a shuttle to get food or whatever we might need. They repeatedly checked in on us to make sure we were ok and were quick to take care of everything. They got us back on the road quickly. Even though it was stressful to have to experience something like this, they made it that much better just by going above and beyond to help us. This was top notch service and are incredibly grateful they were the dealership we went to!

**HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE** TONY WRIGHT the sales manager was extremely rude and demeaning. Claims he’s been in business 30 years & knows how to act. **BUYERS BEWARE** Tony threatened to do something with my car before I picked it up then quickly changed the subject when I called him out for it. I had a factory recall for the passenger airbag for my 2008 Silverado. I contacted Bowman Chevrolet and they got in touch with me within a couple of hours. I explained the situation and they scheduled an appointment at my convenience. The day of the appointment when I arrived I drove into their garage, handed the technician my keys and waited. I was told it would take an hour. 45 minutes later it was done. The technician, Jed Hartman was very profession and courteous. He guided me through the paperwork and everything was complete. Fast, easy service with no headaches.

Normally, I brag about every encounter that I have with Joe Bowman Chevrolet. This time was a little different. EVERYTHING was perfect, as usual; the folks who are in customer service were wonderful and the workmanship is always a good value there. I had a ride to the eye doctor and that lady was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed the courtesy ride as well as the conversation with her too. And, the individual who set that up for me was actually on his lunch break but he took the time to schedule that for me without making me feel as if I was bothering him. This time, however, there was a new person handling the "intake" of the vehicle and the bill payment at the end. I tried being friendly with her and jovial, and she was all business and not very polite at all to top it off. And, when my vehicle was ready for pick up, they made me walk to a separate facility nearby to get it. They always have it pulled up at the garage for me to just hop in, and I guess the past "intaker, bill taker" may have spoiled me. Overall, still a great experience working with Joe Bowman Chevrolet!

I bought a badass 2017 Nissan Frontier 4x4 crew cab at an outstanding price ($1500 below MSRP). On top that, they delivered the truck 11 hours away to me in another state within the week. AND then they drove my junky car back home for the trade-in. Brooke and Tony were both incredibly helpful in the whole process. Mike the driver was great too! Very easy process. They went above and beyond to help me and my family and I’m incredibly appreciative as the truck is amazing!

I went looking for a newer vehicle and when I stopped at Joe Bowman to look at the inventory, that's where my shopping stopped. I upgraded from a 2013 equinox to a 2018 there. i would put 0 stars but the lowest is 1 out of 5 a mechanic named Victor Jimenez at this dealers address 1881 S Main St Harrisonburg Virginia 22801 took my vehicle here at joe bowman 1 month later he couldn't figure out what the problem was and takes it to a dealer joe bowman in Harrisonburg charging @125 dollars an hour a final bill off 1225.70 and now the car doesn't even start up or anythin. total rip off please do not take your car to them I would post the bill here but it won't allow me. very unprofessional. Rude to none English speakers. 1225.70 dollars later and nothing was fixed car is in the same conditions

I have got to give my hats off to Joe Bowman’s sales department, and especially our sales lady Brooke Borror! My husband is a TOUGH customer when it comes to something like this! He does his research! Brooke stuck with him through the shopping phase, and best out 2 other salesmen at two other dealers to win the sale for Joe Bowman. One guy immediately got tired of the questions and pretty much told him “let me know when you're ready to order” Not her! She was attentive and answered his every question (and there were a lot of questions) in a timely fashion long before she knew she was getting the sale. Once he decided on exactly what he wanted she made sure we got the best for our buck, and that our order was perfectly what he wanted. We ended up with a built-to-order 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500 Duramax High Country series. Diesel engine duel wheel crew cab 4wheel drive! Brooke is dynamite in a small package!

We recently purchased a truck. Sales woman was great. Finance employee was FANTASTIC! After shopping around, they found the best rate around which really surprised my wife as she works in/with auto loans all day, everyday. Unfortunately, the parts department kept me from giving Joe Bowman 5 stars. We inquired about a specific item and were told it was discontinued w/o checking in the computer. Keep in mind this inquiry took place within 30 minutes of the parts dept. closing! Later in the week we inquired again about the same item, this time through our Sales woman. Within a hour or two we were contacted and told the item had been ordered. Overall a good experience.

Inquired about a vehicle and was told I needed to put a $2,000 NON REFUNDABLE deposit down. How can one feel comfortable about the buying process at this dealership with this sort of policy. *EDIT* Of course a deposit is standard policy at a lot of Dealerships. But a NON REFUNDABLE deposit?

We had a very positive experience buying our Honda Pilot at Joe Bowman Chevrolet. The sales team was accommodating with excellent communication. The car was listed at a very fair price from the start and they were helpful and patient with securing competitive interest rates. They sat with us to go over the features of the car after the sale and answer any questions. Initially they told us they would have given us $1000 more for our trade-in if only it had new tires, but when we actually offered to put new tires on it, they rescinded the initial offer and only gave us $500 more credit on our trade-in when we took the time the next day and spent the money to order and put 4 brand new tires on it. The finance meeting was efficient, although I wish things had been explained more slowly with more time to ask questions. Brooke was wonderful throughout the entire process and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, even coming to our home (out of town) to pick up paperwork. We had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend their services!

I spontaneously visited this dealership for a used car they had for sale. Tony, Julie and especially Megan were ACES to deal with. Me being an out-of-towner, I was treated like family. They all went above and beyond my expectations. The communication throughout was seamless from sales floor to service department and and so on. I am still in awe of the turnaround to make the deal happen. I would recommend everyone and anyone in the market for a vehicle to visit Joe Bowman Chevrolet-Cadillac. Hands down the best first Dealer experience.

Was probably the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. Charley was my salesperson and we done most of the deal and info through text, which made it easier. I drove 5.5 hrs to get the truck and was exactly what we discussed and the truck exceeded my expectations. Will definitely do business again the prices were unbeatable. The truck was completely loaded and beat the price of my local dealership. They had the same vehicle, same year, it did have 10k miles less than the one I bought, but it only had power windows power locks and was more expensive than the fully loaded one that I bought.

I Recently purchased a Tahoe with Brian and it was an outstanding process. I came all the way from Virginia for the transaction and it was truly worth the journey. His attentiveness, knowledge, and customer service skills were world class and to me exemplified the way a sales specialist should process, especially of a great American vehicle. He certainly set a new standard for my car buying experience. He was never pushy, or aggressive and to me that’s a skill that a virtuous and skilled sales person has.
