    Spent 30 minutes on hold to ask about a problem with my mothers account. Only to be told that since she is not enrolled in the online banking app and only has a land line associated with the account. They could not help with the problem. Even with all account information and card information on hand. They force you to use their online banking app, which my mother did not want to set up.

    I have tried calling this branch seven times over the last two days to speak with someone. I get a message that says, "Everyone is helping another customer, if you would like to make an appointment, please go to our website." And then it hangs up on you! Wow. You cannot even talk to someone at this branch because they refuse to answer their phone! That is not the way any business should be run. UPDATE: Went in to the bank two weeks after my initial review. No customers in the bank. Phone ringing, bank teller on her device messaging and facing away from any potential customers waiting in line. Another bank teller appears from another room and asks me what I needed. I told her that I needed a notary signature. She took my bank card, asked me if I could come back later because that is only done by appointment. I asked if the person was there and she said yes but they would only do it by appointment. Note that there is only one location in Harrisonburg. I tried repeatedly to call to figure out what I needed to do. No one answers the phone so I have to drive across town. And then they tell me that they cannot help me without an appointment. <sigh> ZERO STARS. If any one at Bank of America is reading this, I just want you to know that you have lost my wife and I as customers along with all our money. 15 years of being customers and you cannot provide basic services like picking up a phone. Good-bye!

    Terrific staff! Very friendly branch. They always take care of my banking needs in a very professional and friendly manner. The best - hands down!

    The tellers there are lazy and unprofessional. I arrived at the bank twice with misinformed information. They are the only BOA in the area closest to where I live in Staunton, Va the other is in Charlottesville,Va. They are always trying to leave early and never committed to doing their jobs. I arrived at their bank for a simple task and was turned away because it was exactly 4:30 pm and they only preform the task before 4:30 pm. The fact that I left work early to travel 35 minutes to get to the branch at 4:28 pm,then waited to be serviced meant absolutely nothing to them. This is only one of the many issues I've had at this branch. The mangers are rude and the work ethic is deplorable.

    They would not cash a check from Bank of America even though I had all IDs necessary and was willing to pay the $8 fee. Apparently if you don't have an account with them you can't cash a check. I will never bank with them!

    This by far the best Bank of America branch I’ve been to. Always smiling faces and top notch customer service. Super professional staff that is ready and willing to help. I’m a proud customer of BofA.

    If there was an option for no star, I would give that. My husband and I opened a business and BOA was selected for us for our account. This is by far the worst bank that I have ever dealt with. When you sign up for a business account it mentions that you will get a $300 credit. That is nowhere in sight. The closest BOA is 30 minutes away from where we have our business. When you arrive at the bank, the drive thru is never open and when you go inside there is a crazy line with only two tellers. They are very understaffed and when I mentioned it, they just laughed and said "we know." I can't spend my whole lunch break waiting in line to make a simple deposit. I went to get a cashiers check and they charge their own members $15!! No thanks, I will pull the cash out and go to Dupont Credit Union and get one for FREE. The teller asked if I wanted to order checks so there wouldn't be anymore inconveniences and I told her no that I would be closing my account with them as soon as I could. They do not answer their phone - I tried to call at least 20 times one day (due to an issue with our account) and not once did they answer the phone. Terrible place to bank with. Your customer service is terrible and I can see by the other reviews that I am not the only one. I went to the bank today at 10 am. Drive thru closed, two tellers inside and about 15 people in line waiting. Ridiculous!! Get it together BOA. I will add, the tellers are very nice and it's crazy they have to deal with the short staff.

    I stopped by this location on my way down south to make a deposit as I forgot to do so before I left my home. I noticed that they had a drive-thru teller so I decide to do that instead of the ATM deposit, however when I pulled up I sat there a few minutes there was a lady I couldn't see her face she was doing a transaction for someone else but it would have been nice to say maybe hey I'll be right with you. I would have been more than happy to wait but for the fact that she left me leaving the drive-through to end up going to the ATM with no acknowledgement is the reason I made this post.

    Very disappointing when you go to the bank to find the drive thur closed at 3:00 in the afternoon. I went inside only to find one teller actually waiting on customers. I only needed to leave a payment. I didn’t need a receipt. I left after five minutes of waiting with no acknowledgement of any kind. You would think with only one branch in town now they would strive for Better Customer Service!

    I needed to close my account because I just got married and no longer need it. Tellers were very friendly, jovial, and helpful. No pressure to stay but would definitely consider coming back. Thanks all for your smiling faces on a rainy Saturday, I had a pleasant experience! :)
