JFQ is hands down the best broker to work with. From start to finish over 2 different refi's they have been fantastic. We refinanced our home with the goal of taking advantage of lower mortgage rates. The process was seamless from the time we contacted JFQ Lending to closing. Our loan officer was very professional, kind and responsive. We had a lot of questions, we sought a lot of clarity and because of our jobs...had to ask a lot of those questions in the evening and on weekends. Our loan officer was easy to get ahold of and kept us updated with timelines. We had to use two of their vendors for the appraisal and closing but it was also seamless.

Also, we needed Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Detectors by the furnace and hot water heater; the wired in smoke detectors are not enough anymore! Just might save lives to know this information!

I refinanced to a good rate (hence the second star). I have purchased and refinanced many homes and I have never had so many “one more item” requests. To make things worse, they placed the lien on my property TWICE! They have taken weeks (and counting) to fix their mistake . Three days would have been expected. Absolutely cannot recommend.

I worked with Christopher Davis of JFQ and he couldn't have been more attentive or helpful while I was going through the process of refinancing my condominium. He explained everything to me and made the process enjoyable and we closed quickly.

I took a lot for me to decide on a refi company but after lots of looking around and based on reviews I settled on JFQ. The whole process started off really smooth. They were very responsive but then something changed. I was told that I would not need to get an appraisal but kept getting emails from appraisal companies. When I contacted JFQ I was assured multiple times that appraisal was not required. Also through this process I kept getting handed off to different people. Then after months had passed I was told that an appraisal was required. I scheduled that& paid $600. The appraisal came back very favorable but then I was told that too much time had passed & that my loan would have to be renegotiated & that I would be paying a higher interest rate. I wound up so frustrated with the process that I decided not to proceed with the refi. So disappointed.

I had an an amazing experience working with Sasha Ponce and her team on the purchase of my first home. As a first time buyer, there were many things along the way that I did not understand. Sasha was there for me every step of the way to answer any questions and address any concerns. Her level of care, professionalism and attention to detail surpassed my expectations. Got a sketchy scammy letter from this company which looks like a tax document. Fine print only says anything about what they really do which is trying to get you to refinance with deceitful junk mail.

We refinance though JFQ. During the process our loan agent left the company. Instead of someone taking over our files, they completely left us hanging. every time we reached out to someone we got nothing back. Very unprofessional. There are way better companies out there and I suggest people avoid this one.

I had a GREAT Cash Out refinance with JFQ! My original lender doesn't do cash out refi"s. I needed to wrap up remodeling project credit card debt that was getting WAYYYY out of control. I even lowered my APR, how on first mortgage. Loan officer Nicholas Burchett and Client Relations Team Kenny Taflinger and Juana even handled a couple of late in the process "curve-balls" I had missed when listing accounts. Great Job everyone!

JFQ Lending, INC. is a great company for financing. From the time spent applying to the closing date I was impressed by the support and professional teamwork. I was followed-up by phone calls and email during appointment changes, general information, and to annouce availability. Most of all, the final closure date for the loan was completed within the time stated during my initial application.

** Edit 3/24/2022** Moved from 1 Star to 3 Star. After talking with customer relations we were able to get our loan escalated and back on track. Although it was like starting all over from scratch, the loan progressed forward and closed. 2 Months of Nothing and after being escalated, 3 weeks to closing. The team at JFQ understood the issue and made sure to take steps forward to progress through the loan process. If you have issues with your loan / communication ect - reach out to the customer service team as they can make it happen and escalate! Terrible Customer Service. Too bad I have to even give 1 star. Can't even get our mortgage officer to call us back with any information and started the refi process in December. Signed CDs over a month ago, then again 2 days ago. Called the published number and customer service was like we sent your officer a message to contact you. I immediately got a text at 11:45am from him that said he'd call after his meeting. We'll here we are a full work day later and crickets. Guess the rumors are true.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU'RE SELF EMPLOYED I WISH I CAN GIVE THEM A -5 REVIEW Sorry for the caps but I had to scream this out. This company is so unprofessional it's ridiculous. I own my company since 2010. I purchased 2 houses in 17 months, one being a 3 family rental property. I did an equity loan with one of THE MOST difficult banks, Wellsfargo. I did ALL OF THIS AS A SELF EMPLOYED PERSON. My taxes show I make a VERY GOOD LIVING. This lending agency have given me the worst experience. I was put with one Loan's officer by the name of Hunter Claussen He quoted one cash amount I'll be getting at closing and I agreed with it. He suddenly disappeared and was replaced with someone by the name of Jason. This new Loan's officer quoted a different cash amount that was so low and ridiculous I can actually make the amount in less than 6 months. Jason literally told that their company is hard on self employed people. I'm like what da heck, I've bought properties as a "self employed person" Last week they emailed me some paper work to Esign. It literally said my closing cost is over 22k. I've have never seen anything like this in my life. I left a message with JASON RINK to PLEASE call me because I have some questions. That was last week Wednesday I left that message, today is the following Tuesday and not only I have NOT received a single call, they keep sending emails for me to pay for an appraisal even though i was told I can use the appraisal report i had done less than 2 months ago. THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST. Btw I was told the process will be done by the 1st week of June and we're now into the last week. THEY LITERALLY WAISTED 2 MONTHS OF MY LIFE THAT I WILL NEVER GET BACK. I wish I had gone to a different company. WORST COMPANY. DO NOT USE THEM. I'm convinced they are paying people to leave positive reviews because there's no way they are getting all these amazing reviews and is soooooo HORRIBLE AT THEIR JOB when it came to doing it.

I've had a great experience with JFQ Lending; my refinance process went smoothly. They locked me in a very attractive rate. My final loan amount was even lower than what was quoted initially. Tim and his team are amazing; they are very engaged; they kept me informed throughout the process and have always responded to my questions promptly. JFQ seemed more concerned about their benefits of my home purchase verses my needs. They did send me a house warming gift after I purchased my home, however the final closing date was difficult to lock in. All in all I appreciate the efforts and I'm happy to be in my house.

Received multiple unsolicited calls from this lender attempting to convince me some sort of "service" was needed on my loan. When I confronted one of the callers and asked if they actually serviced my loan, he attempted to backpedal and claimed they were "flagged" that they could provide some potential benefit to my loan but they were not my lender. My number is in the "Do Not Call" registry and they have no business calling people and trying to make it sound like they are in any way affiliated with loans they do not service. Avoid this shady lender!

As a fairly new homeowner looking to refinance, I was clueless. JFQ Lending made the process easy from beginning to end. There is one team member assigned to you for each step in the process, and they always made sure to check in with me and were nothing but kind and accommodating. They even scheduled a notary to come to my home so that I did not have to worry about taking time off work to go meet at a public location. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend JFQ lending to anyone looking to refinance their home!

This was such an easy process. The team was very responsive, professional, courteous & knowledgeable. The process was fairly quick & completely painless. I was able to sign everything from my phone, except for the final documents, of course. They will send a notary to you for the final paperwork, which is really convenient! I would recommend them to anyone looking to refinance. There are a few things to note & these are most likely the same with all mortgage companies: When signing, you are now required to provide 2 forms of ID, & you will need to provide a canceled check, even if you previously provided one. After the funds are in your account & you are fully funded, they may still recheck your credit, even 3 days after, eventhough they checked it the same day your loan funded.

I was pleasantly surprised when JFQ Lending said they could re-finance my investment property (I had been trying for a while and it seemed like no one was willing or could offer a lower rate, etc.). It was great working with Kristie on the re-financing - she was very responsive to my texts, e-mails, and phone calls and dealt with any questions right away. I would definitely use JFQ Lending again! She/they made it very easy.

Probably the worst re-finance experience ever, which still isn't complete after almost 4 months. My insurance agent agrees, as it took many phone calls from him, trying to explain what condo insurance covers. It's been quite an embarrassing experience. If I can figure out a way to cancel, I will. It seems to be a start-up company from a high school student. Lack of knowledge has held up the process consistently. After I submitted all my documents to apply, I was continuously getting calls from other people within the company trying to get me to apply.

My previous loan company had offer me a very good money saving points for me. But JFQ beat your offer into care in close my refinancing in timely manner plus save me two months ofA loan payments.

I have worked with JFQ twice but the second time they were untruthful with what my monthly mortgage would be and at the last week before my closing they changed my monthly payment as well as paid a few credit cards that were already paid off a month before and they sent me checks to pay the creditors that had a zero balance. My monthly mortgage payment increased by $200 more than discussed. The notary did not show me the change and i did not know the increase until i rec'd my monthly bill (my loan was sold the day after closing). I was then told by JFQ that if i pay the escrow my monthly payment would decrease by $200 as agreed upon. This was not true. Watch out for these crooks

Horrible experience with JFQ Lending. My loan officer was young and had no idea on what documents he was requesting from me. Told me my loan will close in 45 days and after 90 days loan was still going so canceled my refinance. Always had to leave voicemails for my loan officer who never reached back out to me. Filed a complaint with director and the CEO and never heard back. Looked up the CEO on Google and found out he has a past criminal record. Trust me and company is a scam and loan will not close!

Very nice and friendly people at this company. Very helpful. When we first decided to go with them. We didn't qualify because of my wifes credit score but they didn't drop us. They gave us some tips on what we can do and what to pay off. They checked in on us every month to see if we were ready to refinance. Once we finally were, we were finally able to qualify.

JFQ mail advertisements mimic a legitimate government document and is deceptive. (Similar font and text as a tax document). I was advised to report the advertisement to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I’d rather just get a real advertisement than one that’s deceiving.

Jena Johnson at JFQ Lending HORRIBLE person.. to deal with. I was searching my options on getting a great low interest rate on refinancing my home. She couldn't beat what I was offered and refused to accept that. She would text all the time. I finally had to tell her to STOP harassing me. She also bashed other lenders. Do NOT use JFQ Lending. This is my second review i have done on this company. They have deleted my previous one to show that are great on reviews. Beware of this company.

We recently refinanced our mortgage with JFQ lending. We worked with Ben Cole. Our refinance had lots of roadblocks. None of them due to JFQ lending. Ben was so patient. He took time to explain every step and encouraged us to just stay with it while hectored to work things out on their end. He told us the documents we needed, any phone calls we needed to make, and ensured our rate stayed locked at the lowest possible rate even though the refinance took longer than expected. Even though we had challenges, Ben and the JFQ team got it done, gave us accurate figures all the way through the process and helped us stay calm and in the know all the way through. We would definitely recommend this team for lending needs!

I'm self-employed and requested a jumbo loan to Refi a second home. That in of itself is extremely difficult. The Freddie Mac guidelines for a conventional loan they have to deal with is astronomical to say the least. It's not like the old days. The mounds of documents required was fatiguing. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. I started this process in January and turned in all necessary documents the day they were requested. It is now June. When I had questions, JfQ lending was unavailable to answer or return any of my calls. Kimberly Bailey specifically worked with me and was unable to return any of my calls after I politely asked and left messages with her colleagues. She ran my credit multiple times with a promise to be close to closing and it never happened. My credit score declined as a result, which made it impossible for me to work with another company. JFQ Lending charged me $500 for an appraisal and a deal was never secured. Their unprofessionalism is very disappointing. Please reconsider refinancing with this company as they do NOT deliver and they do NOT communicate with their clients during the process.

After going through a 6 month process with USbank only to be denied, I contacted JFQ lending after being referred by a family member. They worked with me instantly and we closed in less than 30 days! I received a letter in the mail regarding Fannie Mae enhancements and Cristian Villa was the first person to pick up my call. I never thought about refinancing until he explained the Benefits and seemed like he could help with my 4% interest rate. Since I just got out of forbearance we have to wait 2 more months but he said that I will work with him directly and I am very excited for the day he says we can move forward!

Being self-employed the refinance process is more complicated. Everyone at JFQ stayed involved and in touch with me throughout the entire process. They were very proactive and stayed on top of my case to make sure everything got through underwriting and was able to close. The first lender I tried to work with failed in this respect.

When I was looking, he advised me that the loan they could get me would not benefit my financial situation and said that he would keep me posted if something better came up. A week later, Jackson contacted me and told me about a new loan that would save me money and lower my interest rate and would not cost me more than what the new rate would save me. Zach Jones helped with refinance of my mortgage and equity line in the most committed and efficient way. I had been to 2 local banks before he called me, had spent 9 months trying to secure funding. The enormous time spent and trying to work with private banking systems virtually was shocking to me. After working with Zach Jones I realized the process is driven successfully by the agent of the lender. He facilitated every document and every communication personally. His time line was expedited and I was able to obtain the funding within 6 weeks I am totally amazed and learned that lenders are far more efficient and effective than private banking systems.

However, JFQ delivered in all relevant categories. From the start, Dallan, our contact, was attentive, personable and capable. Within 4 weeks we were funded even though condo refinancing seems more convoluted than regular single-family homes. In short, JFQ did a great job and I would confidently recommend them to others!

JFQ Lending folks were awesome , while working on my refinance loan. they were very professional, quick to respond and upfront. I would highly recommend them for mortgage related business.

If I could give 0 stars I would. If I had seen all these negative reviews prior, we would have avoided this company. My husband and I wanted to refinance and was told by James Broadus that they had a lot of companies that could offer the loan, (after seeing our great credit score) anyway we ended up with Rocket Mortgage he told us. We started the transaction in November 2021. James had us on the phone all day on Thanksgiving to lock in the special rate he says. We were asked for the same documents multiple times. The group then try to ask the pertinent questions in February 2022 they should have asked in November 2021. They build us up as if everything is going well and even give us an interest rate and mortgage amount. My current mortgage company wrote and told us Rocket contacted them. JFQ then later change us to a higher rate in another month. A manager even called to explain what our new interest rate and mortgage amount would be. Then afterward tell us Rocket can't service our loan. Mind you, this rejection came via text (nothing formal after getting all our documentation) from James after they gave us a mortgage amount and asked for us to pay an appraisal fee. The night we were supposed to pay that fee they cancelled the request and state they couldn't offer the loan. Imagine our shock. We then realized that they did not know what they were doing when they kept asking questions they already had answers to months ago. They have now ruined our high credit score, possess all our important information, discussed our info with IRS, and after all that time and energy wasted, they have left us worse than we had started. Now we have to rebuild our perfect credit and start all over again. Worse company ever. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.

Viewers, I have been working with JFQ since 2019. Each year they consistently track the market and provide me with opportunity to get a better rate without loss of time in a refinance. As a first-time homebuyer, I was loss. JFQ helped with my FHA loan and later helped me get a conventional loan to free from that PMI. Each agent that I have worked with have worked consistently to provide me with guidance and quality service. My most recent experience was with Dallan. He helped tremendously and structured the terms of the mortgage to leverage the equity from my home to cover other expenses all while keeping my monthly mortgage nearly the same. I'm grateful that I was blessed to be able to work with JFQ and will continue with them for the foreseeable future.

There were so many issues with this company that I don't know where to start. First, they called and the gentleman was so dull, not a real issue. Then they didn't know which lender was helping me, I spoke to 3 or 4 different people. No one likes being passed around like that, I'm not a toy. Then they called me and said my refinance had come up for review, It was a purchase. Then they finally got me 1 rep but he seemed so against helping me and combative that I had to thank him for his time and end the call. The amount of bull that went on in this particular company was ridiculous. I'm so happy to see those with positive reviews, likely none are African American that are real reviews.

I really can’t say enough about my refinance mortgage broker Alexandra Hauser and the JFQ team. I had received quite a few offers after making an inquiry online and of course in this current market I was also getting offers in the mail. One of those was from JFQ and I was going to just get a comparison offer to make sure that the one I was hearing online was a good one. But what I found was that it was easier to work through the process with Alexandra and as I talked to her, we came up with a few different scenarios that will work to help me consolidate debt and maintain a payment monthly payment that I could handle - which was a bit of a juggling act. I didn’t feel I was pressured to close the deal, and all of my requests were answered immediately, even though I was working around my own work schedule. When I made my decision their team resolved paperwork and helped me understand everything I signed. Closing was handled at my house and at my convenience.

Wow, Spencer Schulz was amazing. He really helped us through the entire process and I truly trust him. In the beginning I was really apprehensive that it was a scam. I communicated this with him and he not only understood this concern but took the time to ensure that we felt safe. He made sure we understood what we were getting into and had very clear communication. He was extremely patient as we struggled to remember/understand the whole process. I was really impressed by his relatability. I didn’t feel like just a number or like he was talking down to me at any point which is a key indicator for me on how well I will work with a person. Another highlight is that he always made time for us, wether we needed to discuss things after working hours or randomly through out the day. Along with the fact that it was easy to get ahold of him. There isn’t any lag time or horrid call lines to get ahold of people at JFQ. He is the man to talk to at JFQ but luckily we didn’t have any issues with anyone there. That’s huge for me. On top of that they made the process SO easy. We felt so much stress when buying the house but Spencer, specifically, made a big difference. They are real, honest, friendly and very helpful. We only had minor issues with scheduling but Spencer more than made up for that by following up more frequently and used clear communication about what was going on. They got us a much better deal and I plan on working with them long into the future. And no they did not spam me to make this review, this is my honest experience with them and I will recommend them to everyone I can. Especially Spencer. Thank you to the people at JFQ and Spencer!! He is a truly fabulous person and he is really good at what he does.

They started out very accommodating and professional. After sending all of our info in, we got a few updates, initiated by us, then our contact person stopped answering my texts and emails. Tried calling her, phone had been disconnected. When we finally got a hold of someone else, we were informed that she had been let go. Our file was just dropped! We started all over again. From the beginning!!!! It was like pulling teeth getting updates on the progress. Final straw...our contact person apparently went on vacation and didn't even let us know or give us another person to contact. We were done!! This was a 3 month waste of time! Their customer service is horrible! I do not recommend. Went with another company and had our loan in 2 weeks!!

We were Highly disappointed with the overall process of our loan. We ended up PAYING AS MUCH MONEY IN FEES as we were able to cash out. It was astonishing! The first loan officer Janes Broadus was very patient and explained the process very well. However, when the service agent was transferred to Mason Humes, he hardly had time to return calls, would communicate by text or email, or just did not respond. The amount we thought we were getting was $25,000.00 less than what we were expecting. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this process and do not understand why no one ever reviewed the changes that were made to our request. We spent ALOT OF MONEY for little return. BUYER BEWARE- it was not a pleasant process.

I was rushed to lock in rate before 2022 came around and rates would rise. Near closing, they added $3K to my loan for "extending" rate lock. Then, they raised APR by 1% since rates had gone up. They didn't know what lies to tell me anymore, right before closing. Slimy experience...

I really hate to give this review because I am sure that it was an error but it was critical to my situation which I would not like to disclose here. My issue is that critical information should not be texted. If it is texted, there should be a confirmation to ensure the text was received. When that is not done, people can miss out on an opportunity to refinance. Its okay. This a a great company and the people are kind but important information should be a phone call or require a confirmation text. Good luck to everyone.

From the initial call to close, and having been out of two for 10 days during the process, I closed within 30 days, and provided expected documentation upfront, and was only asked for one piece of documentation in between. The process to refinance was at times frustrating and I couldn't understand some of the document requirements, but Riley was excellent to work with and he displayed the highest professionalism and customer service! I have been dealing with JFQ for a few years using the FHA Streamline Program. They have always been helpful in lowering my mortgage rates. On this occasion I switched to a conventional mortgage. We had looked at incorporating a solar panel loan and cash out to build a deck. Many lenders promised the sky but didn't deliver. I stuck with JFQ.

The only reason i am giving 1 Star is because it can’t go any lower. Disappointing does not describe the process. JFQ did get a good rate and held that rate until closing. That is where the positives stop. Closing was delayed causing my existing loan to go overdue resulting in an $80 charge only to be told to go ahead and pay it anyway. To make up for that, they said they would move the first payment back 30 days which was good considering skipping 2 months mortgage payments was part of the pitch. Guess what? That wasn’t correct either, was finally contacted by the loan holder 30 days later only to find out my first payment was due the 1st of the next month with less that 1 week’s notice. It is now >30 days past closing and I still haven’t received a copy of the final closing paperwork and had I not called and asked I probably miss the the first payment on the new loan. Final closing paperwork also contained errors but at that point, I just wanted it over and to get away from this company. Do yourself a favor and go with someone reputable.

I've used JFQ Lending now 3 times, about to use them a fourth... Once for a very complicated estate situation, using POA for my 97 y.o. Mom. It took 8 months (!), but JFQ folks are amazing how determined they were to make it work -- creative & hard-working. They're in Arizona and I'm on East coast -- but it works, and I'm very pleased.

The entire process was simple and quick! My loan agent and the entire team were very professional. Clearly explained each step of the process in detail and were responsive to my emails and phone calls. As the loan process progressed I was sent an email or received a phone call to explain where we were in the process and and what I could expect in the next steps. I had a bad experience with another lender that left me not wanting to even try doing a refi again. JFQ called me and explained how they do the same loan. I was hesitant but went forward. They kept me in the loop through out the process and worked hard to close the loan. They always communicated with me when I asked questions. I didn't have to wait days for an answer. I would recommend them to anyone doing a home loan.

I was a little nervous about refinancing with a company that I had never heard of but the worry was all for nothing. JFQ has been wonderful throughout this whole process. They got my refinance closed super quick (less than 30days), answered every question I had and was always available when I needed them. Eric and Wade were fantastic!
