J. A. Bachler, REALTOR® Reviews

We closed on our new home in September 2020, but we began our search in late April. Providence brought us to Trent Attebury and J. A. Bachler Realty, and we are so thankful for it. Trent went above and beyond in helping us find a home that ticked all our boxes, from a size sufficient for our large family, to a location ideal for raising children, and also within our budget. He was very patient with us, leading us through the process with calm and grace. And all this in the middle of a pandemic! His professionalism is top notch and his kindness is unmatched. We would not have found the perfect home if it weren't for him. We highly recommend working with Trent when you're in the market to buy or sell your home.
Thanks so much for the kind words! It’s an enormous joy to be able to help a family find a home that they love and we appreciate being trusted with the opportunity to do so!

Family-owned and operated independent real estate agency, won’t treat you like just another name in a database.

My neighbor built a house to sell down the road. When I called to inquire about the home. The girl who answered said she could not find paperwork for the house and was too busy to look for it, she said she would call back, never did. When we called a week later, she answered the phone again, we reminded her of the house, she claimed not to have any listing of it, with their sign being out front of the house for 4 weeks. She obviously was lining up her own buyer, the house is now sold, she still has not returned any phone calls on the Degurse house.
Hi Bryan, thank you for sharing your experience with us even though we're very disappointed to hear that it was not up to par. We do not permit any of our agents to "line up their own buyer" as it is not in the best interests of our sellers. There must be some kind of confusion because the new construction on Degurse is still actively listed for sale and not sold. We've made everyone here at our office aware of how this was mishandled and have taken steps to ensure it won't happen again. If you still have any questions regarding this property or any others please feel free to contact our office.

Mike Bachler is the nicest man ever and was there for us every step of the way as we looked for our house on the river. Thanks Mike. I highly recommend this agent to handle your housing needs.
Thanks Kathy!

We recently purchased a house from Bachler Realty in Marine City. The house was clean but had a few repairs listed by the building inspector. One of the repairs, a leaking toilet, was to be repaired by the owner. He said he did, though he provided no receipt of contractual work. We tested the toilet before closing and it seemed to have stopped leaking. We closed on a Friday. My family of two moved in over the weekend. By Monday, three days after closing, the toilet was leaking raw sewage into the basement. We contacted the realtor and a plumber. The plumber said the leak was so bad the floor was rotted and need to be replaced. The plumber put in a temporary repair until the floor could be replaced. Since the leaking toilet was disclosed, we understood the owner to be liable. Bachler Realty has made us jump through numerous hoops: need to get three quotes from contractors for reimbursing a repair. We have three quotes, plus a plumbers bill and Bachler Realty has now made excuses why the repair won't be made. Wonder how many buyers with a three day purchase would like to have raw sewage leaking into their new purchase and told the buyers will be responsible? Really? We are looking at legal options available to us. This is a health issue as well for our family. Bachler Realty should be ashamed.
Hello Taz, we're sorry to hear that you felt we were responsible in any way for this happening to your home. There are always steps that can be taken to ensure that repairs are done to the satisfaction of all parties but we did not represent you as a buyer in this transaction. When there are repairs required to properties as a contingency to purchase you can require the repair to be to your satisfaction and then have it inspected to ensure that.
