This credit union was awesome when it was IBM Southeast Employees Credit Union. Since it became “ithink” it went downhill. Communication got worse, turn-around time for loan qualifications are ridiculous, the online platform feels ancient to use, and the rates are only decent if you want to finance something for 36mo or less. I have excellent credit, and 1 day I sat at Ithink location for over 2 hours waiting to get pre-qualified for a vehicle only to be offered a rate higher than the dealership… All they could talk about the entire time was getting my family members to join.

I absolutely love banking with ibmsecu. I have been banking with ibmse for awhile now and i have never had any issues with my accounts, bank experience, or transactions. Not to mention the friendly customer service has been the best. Knowing that i can call or coming in and speak to my favorite bankers— Ambriana and Calvin, i know i will be taken care of. I would recommend IBMSEC to anyone 😊!

This bank will close your account WITH money in it, and send you notice that you should receive a check within 10 days. MONTHS LATER, you will still get the run around. I would NEVER recommend this bank location to anyone.

Been dealing with them for 2 years now love it

Theft is on the rise here. This bank will hold debit card transactions for a week. When this happens, it will cause your account to go into mean overdraft fees because in your account it will show where you made the transactions and it appears that the transaction was deducted from your account...WRONG!! If I make a purchase for $20 and I only have $5 in there, this bank will NOT APPROVE OF THAT CHARGE BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE OVERDRAFT PROTECTION ON THIS ACCOUNT, THEREFORE MY PURCHASE WILL BE DECLINED AT THE REGISTER RIGHT? So please tell me why this Bank has the app so confusing that you CAN NOT DISTINGUISH CREDITS FROM DEBITS BECAUSE. THIS IS DONE ON PURPOSE to make money! And they won't make corrections to your account especially if you are black! I have money to deposit into this account everyday and if you complain about it, they'll notated the account so that ALL of the reps will give you the same exact treatment in every branch that you go into! If you go into a branch to inquire about a debit card transactions or fees, the bankers will you to call another department because they can't help you and they will not reverse the charges even if it is an error!

Beware. If the economy ever drops and you loose your job due to hardship and must sign over a volunteer repo, IBM will freeze your account and they will take ALL of the money that’s in it. Now I don’t have any money to eat or buy diapers for my daughter. The remaining money isn’t accessible to me. No loan officer ever discussed this with me.

Be aware! This is in a US federal building. Meaning it has a FULL 'security' screening checkpoint.
