As far as I'm concerned, it's the only title company to close your transaction.

They literally wrote me a bad check for my home proceeds. Beware. The closer who worked on my case said it was totally fine and normal. I had to go back in the following week to get a wire transfer due to their bad check.

July 2018 I closed on the purchase of a home at Investors Title Company. Closing went smoothly with no problems. Several days later I began receiving calls from my lender, (NAME REMOVED). According to their voicemails, there was a mistake done by the escrow company, Investors Title Company, and there were some credit cards and debts that were suppose to be paid at closing that were not, and I needed to pay $1,387 to pay off these debts. I contacted Investors Title Company. They claimed they made no mistake, that it was the lender that sent the wrong figures, and they would contact them and work it out. Emails and phone calls from (NAME REMOVED) continued. On August 16th I received a email exchange forwarded to me between (NAME REMOVED) and Investors Title. In the email (NAME REMOVED) admitted they had made a mistake when they approved the amount I was suppose to bring to closing. However (NAME REMOVED) insisted that I must pay this additional money for the loan that closed in July. On August 31st I received an email from Rachel Rachford of Investors Title Company asking if I paid off the $1,387 yet and that the lender needs to get this resolved by September 7th. Rachel restates in the email that there was a mistake by the lender at closing but I need to pay $1,387 to resolve their mistake.

The staff is great with communication and prompt to complete title work. Definitely recommend them when closing on a property.
