Intrepid Credit Union Prospect Ave, Helena

I entered into the Prosect Ave. branch with my elderly mother. She began to have a coughing fit, from postnasal drip, and needed to sit down, drink water, and rest. As she was recuperating, one of the extraordinarily rude tellers asked if we had business there. As a twenty year member of this credit union, I explained that both me and my mother had accounts, we were there on business, and the reasons why we had taken a seat to rest. She told me she was just asking and to not "cop an attitude" when she was the one who clearly had an attitude in determining who was and wasn't a valued customer. I have had too many problems with this bank. It was better banking with elk horn before HCCU took over. Online banking is impossible for me and calling tech support was absolutely horrendous with them telling I don’t exist in their system. My account with elk horn started when I was five. I’m 27 and electronic telephone banking is worse. Every time I tried to set up account it would hang up on me. I literally have call them to know how much money is in my account. Now hearing that they are opening accounts without notifying the customer and letting flagged companies known for fraud or identity theft take out money happening frequently I worry if my money is safe when I don’t know if some strange company is pulling out money. I don’t live in Helena anymore and don’t plan on going back so I am currently transferring to US Bank. It’s in every city and I have had my inheritance there for years and the percentage of growth is much higher.

Love this bank. Had been with Wells Fargo for over 20 years and then started having problems with them. Closed my account and went with this bank a little over 2 years ago and love these guys and gals. Have had no problems with them and they are always very friendly. The app is very easy to navigate and with just a couple of clicks, I always know just how much is in my account. If I could give a 10 star rating I would.

The snob lady that hovers over the tellers was as UN-helpful as she could possibly be. I am a member and wont be going back. Not the first issue I have had with them
