    If I knew what I know now about this credit union I wouldn't have gotten my truck. They force you into getting insurance, and have the nerve to have requirements. And if not met to there requirements you are charged for the insurance of their choosing. I tried to set up my insurance through them and couldn't get back in contact with the agent that gave me a quote.. Went thru MULTIPLE other agents and were getting quotes hundreds of dollars MORE than what my original agent quoted.. I finally got insurance and turned on my information weeks ago and now I'm getting an email stating that it doesn't "comply", when I was told by someone from.their insurance department if there were any issues I would receive a phone call me few days after I turned in my insurance.. This is the worst experience ever! Looking to refinance elsewhere because of this particular situation. On top of other issues I've had with them. DO NOT FINANCE, TAKE OUT A LOAN, NOTHING THRU THIS CREDIT UNION. I dealt with Credit Acceptance for years and NEVER had any issues with setting up biweekly payments, insurance, NOTHING!

    Hello Monique. We have searched our system, but based on the name you left the review under we do not see your membership with ITCU. Could it be under another name perhaps? On auto loans lenders, including ITCU, will have insurance requirements which are stipulated in the loan documents. Also, we do not sell insurance to members so we are not sure who you spoke with here regarding purchasing insurance. We do appreciate you bringing your experience to our attention.     These guys are great. They are personal, respectful and cordial. I even have a business line with the same guy now every month. His name is Oscar. And he made the stress of paying my auto loan off simple and easy. I went as far to call his manager Jera who also solidified my opinion and the reason I am writing this review. Saying she would personally handle my financial profile if he is out of town. If you are ever offered financing through in touch or looking for a loan. These are the people to go through. 5 stars.

    I’ve been banking with ITCU for several years now on the personal side and recently had the opportunity to move my business account over from another bank. Shortly after making this transition, the need arose to request a business loan. This was a time critical situation with a deadline in place. I reached out to ITCU and Donny Sanders from the loan department responded to help me on this loan. It is honestly the best loan experience I’ve had in 25 years. He took the time to explain every detail of the application itself, what I could expect during the review stages and ultimately all the way through repayment. I let him know that time was of the essence and I would move quickly if he could do the same. He sent the application right away, I returned it with a couple of hours and as promised, he submitted the loan that same day before leaving work. But we all know this kind of stuff isn’t without challenges. At no fault of Donny or ITCU, my application got hung up in the submission system due to an error by my previous bank. Donny called me right away, let me know what was going on and how he intended to solve it. He stayed in touch with me on what to expect and the timing for everything. He ultimately resolved the issue and the rest of the process went exactly as he described. He reached out 48 hours later to let me know that loan docs were on there way and when I could expect funding. Done right, on time with the best communication I’ve every seen. I know for a fact that Donny is as busy as busy gets but he always took the time to answer my questions, reassured me when issues arose and was very personable and relatable. I would highly recommend both Donny Sanders and ITCU for you business banking needs. Thank you all for making it a great experience!!!

    I worked with Dezi from ITCU's loan funding team recently and cannot say enough about how great my experience was. Anytime that I sent an email he was on the ball and answered all of my questions. Additionally anytime that I called them I was greeted with super helpful members of the team such as Jessica, and Raul! I thought that getting an auto loan would be a pain since I no longer live near my local ITCU branch but they proved me wrong. Its really hard to find the ELITE level of customer service that everyone at ITCU provides. If I could give them a higher rating you bet that I would!! Thanks Team!!!

    The best service ever! The Senior Personal Finance assistant Esmeralda Olmsted was very co-operative.. accommodated us instantly even though we did not have prior appointment. Helped me walk through the process and got my work done within minutes!

    I just completed my 6th loan with this credit union. Ian B. is phenomenal to work with. Very friendly, quick and thorough. Next time I need a loan I will reach back out to him directly. I also had to work with another rep named Jasmine S. over few emails. ITCU should haver her sit with Ian to teach her how customer service is done. Overall, great experience processing another loan with this credit union. Will be back from my next one.

    Well I don't have a ton of experience with this credit union; this is just where I happened to get my car loan from. But I've never had any issues with my loan for the past year that I've had it, so that's always a good thing! The reason I am leaving this review today is because of an email I received from InTouch this morning to inform me of the Skip-A-Pay thing they are doing in response to covid 19. I understand this does not mean my payment for the month is waived, but rather that July's payment will be skipped and another month will be added at the end of my loan. For me, this is really helpful. Like many people, I was out of work temporarily at the start of the pandemic. While I am thankfully back working now, my credit cards and bills have been piling up and stressing me out. I am terrible at asking for help though, so I am not the type to call and ask for something like this. I really, really appreciate that InTouch is just automatically doing this for me, very nice consideration for your customers!

    I came in just before Christmas and met with Teylore Harrison for a new debit card because mine had been compromised. She made the experience so nice and even made a new debit card for my husband because I told her his was cracked. This was huge because getting him to get to the bank is like going to the dentist. THANK YOU Teylore for making my day!! Now if only their telephone staff was as helpful as Teylore we may not consider changing banks. Horrible staff on the weekends!!

    Today May 22, 2021 I was taken care of by Esmeralda Olmos (Senior Personal Financial Assistant) and the quality of service I received today was truly exceptional. Not only did we take care of business but it was quick, efficient and fun! She truly is very knowledgeable and you can tell she has a huge heart to help and educate all members that come through the doors.     I've waited several months to write a review because I was hoping it was a blip, but since the beginning of my relationship with this Credit Union (September 2020) I have been consistently let down. I have spoken with several employees via email, and phone for several reasons and I keep getting the impression that they really don't care. Emails are half-read, responses are not always helpful and their phone line AND website constantly do not work/ are not user friendly. Here are several issues I have encountered during my time working with InTouch: 1. I took out a loan with them in Sept 2020, and the process in the beginning was fairly straightforward, and the team seemed wonderful. However, as it came time to sign papers... my loan agent scheduled the appointment without my confirmation first, but that was fine... I could make that appointment work. She then took lunch at my appointment time, when the car's seller and I had both taken our lunch to sign papers quickly. The agent who stepped in to take over was confused, papers needed were missing because of poor communication... it was a mess and we were all very disappointed and frustrated at the disorganization. We ended up having to finalize things over the next day or so. 2. I had set up auto payments at signing, however... somehow... this was not processed and I was charged a late fee. They were able to reverse it, but it was still very unprofessional when added on top of the document issues we had originally. There was a lot of "I need this.." "oh, I don't need this, can make it work without it," "actually I do need that..." (I'm paraphrasing). It just felt like they didn't know what they were doing. 3. I've been trying for months to access my accounts online, but I never get a password reset email, their support line has been unavailble (literally is says this number is unavailable during working hours) or unhelpful. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after experiencing multiple frustrations... I felt it was finally time to share. It just feels like there is a lot of disorganization. I've had family and friends bank with them in the past to mixed reviews. Many of my friends really didn't like working with them for similar occurrences, but because my brother had a decent experience, I moved forward. I really wish this was a better experience, because I would so prefer working with credit unions.. but this was so disappointing!!

    Worst experience ever. Teller Machines greet you to talk to a video teller. Then, when your task isn't able to be completed unless it's a live teller, you have to wait. And wait we did. The depersonalization is appalling. This is definitely not what I'd expect from a credit union. We only went here because we are co-op'd with another credit union.

    Hello Rhonda. The video conferencing system you are referring to is our interactive teller system we've had in place for a few years now. You are talking to a real-life person at one of our locations, it is just video system, like Skype and Facetime. We also have live staff in the branch to assist with non-teller transactions; at times there may be a short wait due to our staff currently assisting other members. Credit Unions who choose to participate in the Shared Branch network provide service to other credit union’s members as a courtesy. Each credit union in this voluntary network is primarily responsible to their members rather than the guest members. You are welcome to reach out to your credit union for additional information, but they may give you the same information we are also providing.     Best experience we could have had with the loan dept. Althea made the process so simple and was so helpful answering all my husbands questions.     The customer service is impeccable. For them now I only have one location they take very good care of me and I stay in the Metro Detroit area. I will definitely recommend this Credit Union because of their expertise and customer service and they have a very easy process of getting things done.

    I have been with my credit union for over 30 years and love them! Recently I have gotten beyond frustrated with the online banking system and the mobile stuff. I have called into member care countless times to get it fixed. Despite my age induced irritability and frustration they are always so very sweet and helpful. This last young woman who assisted me, Mrs. Ashley, refused to end our encounter until she was certain she had fixed my issues. She was patient and kind and ill be darned......SHE FIXED IT! I called in fed up and frustrated and ready to wash my hands with all of it. Her kindness, patience, knowledge and ability to explain it to me in a way that made perfect sense to me...absolutely made my day! That young woman is a gem! Never let her go! ALL of member care is amazing and they are the heart of my credit union. I love and appreciate them. I know not all feed us consumers give is positive and made it a point to let this potentially negative interaction ended absolutely positive! We appreciate all you do and I pray you guys get more kindess in your calls! Dont let anyone mess with my new favorite though. Ms. Ashley, you are going places.

    My experiences with InTouch Credit Union have always been great. Until this one. The agent who answered my call was less than helpful, did not provide any information without me having to drag it out of her and generally provided poor customer service.

    Kelly from member care was so so patient. I have so much chaos going on with my business and investments and sometimes all you need is someone to walk you through the simplest of tasks w/o signing or giving a tone or redirecting you.     I’ve been a member for well over 30 years. Although the staff has changed the service is still stellar. I’m a lifetime member and will never leave my credit union. Here’s why. Even amidst COVID-19, I’m able to get immediate results when an urgent need hit to cut a cashiers check very quickly for the title company. Teylore saw me fast and helped me get squared away in a New York minute to make my appointment in less than 15 minutes with time to spare. Teylore and really all ITCU staff work hard for the member and truly show compassion for their need. Thank y’all for the continued stellar service. #Member4Life
