I needed to refinance quickly to take advantage of a dip in interest rates and to complete the loan process by the end of the year. This would allow me to include 100% of the points I paid on an earlier refinance in 2021 in my 2021 income tax deductions. Intelliloan got me a great rate (<2%) with no closing costs and processed the loan by 12/29/2021. The whole process went quickly & smoothly. I couldn't be happier.

Dismal Customer Service. Still no solution after 4 days. My most recent experience with Intelliloan concerning and I am wondering if they are the right company. My mortgage is Autopay. Yet I received a delinquent notice. After days of calls with the bank and Intelliloan customer service (who refused to talk to our bank on a recorded line, which only makes this issue more difficult to resolve) we are still pending resolution. All said and done, our bank has proven they sent payment per usual to the correct address and within required time. But Intelliloan still hasn’t been able to resolve this on their end? Last thing I need is to be wasting more valuable time getting my mortgage company to process a payment. I am hoping this is a one off and someone on their end just dropped a ball. Regardless, this is stressful and unwarranted by a customer who has always paid on time. That’s what Autopay is for Intelliloan!

My name is Michael Gray. I am in the middle of my second refi with Intelliloan. My loan officer, Sarah Smith has been, in my opinion, difficult to deal with. She quoted me an original rate. The next day it changed by over .5%. I was happy. Sarah then stated she was sending in the paperwork at the lowest rate. She followed by saying out worst possible rate would be maybe .14 higher. The next day Sarah confirmed our rate was fixed. She e mailed this to me when I had requested a phone call. The rate in the paperwork was .5% higher than the one quoted. I complained to Sarah. Later the same day, due to a lender credit, our rate was lowered about .25%. This is a strange miracle. Funny how this happened. I contacted Sarah and complained why I wasn’t receiving the original quoted rate. She stated that our rate was not locked (I have an e mail from her that our rate is locked. It was in bold print). Now it is not locked? I have requested in 2 different occasions to speak to her Manager. After my second request, she stated that she would pass along my request. We are still working on the refi, but with all of the frustration and inconsistencies, I am not happy with Intelliloan. If I do not get satisfaction, I will go to the State of Texas Mortgage and report the facts of this transaction. This is too much drama to handle. I will follow up with how this works out. Best and easiest home loan experience I’ve ever had in over 45 years! Over 16 loans on personal and rental properties. Getting ready to use Intelliloan again next month. Gregg helped me with the most professional and friendly experience ever. Saved me alot of time and money compared to the other two companies I was dealing with at that time. I had invested over two months in the other companies and hadn’t received a closing date from either yet. I called Gregg and got a quote that day. He came through with everything I was quoted and we closed before the other two companies still had yet to give me a closing date. Your choice is Intelliloan or a circus complete with clowns and empty chatter.

I was debating between a few different lenders. They said they could close my refi in 21 days. I didn't believe them. Other lenders didn't believe them. I was told they were lying to me. Guess what! The notary who came to the house on behalf of Intelliloan worked primarily on Intelliloan loans, had their document needs down cold and turned out to be the fastest signing experience I have had to date, making this mortgage experience the easiest and most efficient of any I have had over the past fifteen years. Broke the Customer Trust ! I had very bad experience during refinance in IL. The process started well and shared all the documents that was asked by the loan specialist. I was very difficult to reach the loan associate and get the status (mostly voicemail) no response. Then closing was assinged to some date with attorney at 6:oo PM Cst and got call from attorney by 4:00 pm stating no closing today as the document was not received. Total frustrating, as soon I called loan associate they said yes there is issue in IL. (no proper answer) by this time future Property tax was paid by me$ 1800 and Closing Wire is completed $575 as per Intelliloan specialist. Next day, I asked what is the process to cancel this application. Later more conversation was done with loan specialist (By this as I paid so much money) I said will give one more chance to loan specialist to fix the problem and give the final closing date. If you missed then will cancel it. They started again with new loan application and after 12 day the date was given and a day before got call from loan specialist that we cannot sign the loan due to IL not approved. 2nd time got frustrated. the next date I sent email for cancellation. What a poor experience and I totally wasted 1.5 months on this journey. I got refund for wire and not for appraisal, If I try with other mortgage they do not accept the appraisal done from other source. I requested for refund but they declined. I do not suggest and they broke the trust.

I had to refinance and cash out to buy out my ex on a divorce judgment I try to refinance with other companies but they made it clear if there where complications they would not give me the loan Intelliloan assured me that even if I had to go back to court and have the court sign for my ex they could fund my loan as we work on the loan and where getting closed to the end my ex started to make things difficult but Marina work very hard and went beyond the call talking to my ex to get her to understand and finally sign even when the signing date had passed she was able to work with the underwriters to extend the closing date for the loan and get it done. Without the help and hard work of Marina I don't think my loan would had closed with out me going back to court with it would had been very expensive and time consuming. Two years ago I called I was greater and as we spoke and took my information and everything looked great! The loan office ? Then requested more info and he mention my husband’s credit score needed a bust, I was the main person for our refinance. We then suddenly received a letter stating loan denial. Letter states we were over delinquent! When our credit was run twice and we were awaiting loan closing date! Intelliloan is a misleading people and miss accusing clients!!

Recently I called Intelliloan to explore refinancing two rental properties that both had 30-year mortgages at interest rates significantly higher than are currently available. Jasmine Brown was our loan officer and she was terrific! When we found during our first phone call that the amount owed on one of the properties was too low to refinance, Jasmine immediately thought of the possibility of refinancing the higher value property with cash out, and using the cash out to pay off the mortgage entirely on the lower value property. Within minutes she checked the estimated current market value of the higher value property and found that this strategy was feasible. The rest is history! We went through Intelliloan’s very efficient and straightforward loan application process, with friendly guidance from Jasmine. The appraisal on the higher value property came out where it needed to be, and we ended up with a low interest 15-year loan on one property and the other property paid off! I did the math comparing the interest expense we would paid on the two original mortgages over their lifetimes if we had done nothing, to the interest we will pay over the lifetime of the single new mortgage obtained through Intelliloan. I found that we will have saved a LOT of money as a result of our refi through Intelliloan. So “hats off” to Intelliloan and to Jasmine Brown in particular. I regret ever using Intelliloan. My previous lender was much more pleasant to deal with. First of all, the rates shown on TV only apply to one percent of the population. I couldn’t get their best rate with an 820 credit score. Second, once they have you signing documents, they make you jump through hoops that weren’t previously mentioned. Now I’ve received a letter saying they’re going to buy insurance for my house because they believe my insurance has expired, and I’ll be required to pay any money they’ve spent. Maybe just ask for proof before making threats! One of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. I strongly encourage anyone looking to refinance to look elsewhere.

I was working with Quicken loans. They really put me thru the ringer. So many hoops to jump thru. I got upset at the last minute, called Intelliloan and within a couple of minutes I had better rate .25% lower on the APR. The process was faster and less painful. Highly recommended.
