Guy really helped me out big time the other day! I needed a gold chain for my niece. I was recommended to this shop by many other people in the community! I went there and Guy gave me a very reasonable price for a very nice chain! Both Guy and Dave are very knowledgeable when it comes to jewelry and many other things in their business!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I live in West Covina and was interested in selling a few items. I saw this pawn shop in the list and decided to try it out. I first read all the reviews and he had very good reviews. Well let me tell you I'm so lucky I found this place. Dave introduced himself and was very friendly and very knowledgeable as soon as I walked in. Now this guy knows his stuff! I was very impressed! I've visit a few pawns near my house in the past but the people were not to interested or not knowledgeable. I recommend this place. Dave wont BS you, excuse my language. He will advice you on what to do.

I wasn't expecting much of an experience at a pawn shop, because, well, it's a pawn shop, but wow this place impressed me. I went in just to take a look around, and ended up speaking with the staff about the antique jewelry there. Turns out, I own a couple of pieces that are worth a decent amount of money and will be back very soon to discuss my options with them. The staff is very friendly. So whether you're just perusing or you're looking to sell, Imperial Pawnbrokers is the place to go.

BS reviews... Tried to sell my gold chain here 7 years ago. Owner offered me 40% of gold weight value (at that time). I went online and found a place that will pay you 99% of your gold value. Went back to this pawnshop to get my chain out (I had it pawned w them for a loan), owner asked where I will take it to sell, when I told him, he wasn't happy and offered me 80% gold value, I asked him why would I do that and left... He should have started with 80% instead of trying to rip me off. Edit: If you are trying to sell gold /silver here, check the weight of your item, karats, then google market price of gold in your karats. See if these guys will offer you anywhere near that....Plenty of places in SoCal that will give you 99% Not happy with ANY business that tries to rip you off. And the reason all 6 of my other reviews have one star rating is the same reason you only have 21 good reviews. Based on your counter argument I am a negative reviewer but by the same logic, your shop pleased only 21 people in all the time it was open. You should start offering discounts in exchange for reviews and I will have to start taking time to write positive reviews ;)

Awesome guys. Good rates if you know your stuff. Was promised a certain amount on phone for a loan on 10 oz silver. Got told "his partner" might do it if he was there but he didn't promise anything. He was still fair, reasonable, and professional as you get. Would gladly do business here anytime.

I got there 3 minutes before close on accident. The staff was Awesome! Still let us in and didn't rush us or give us a hard time. I ended up buying a bass and got a great deal and they threw in a gig bag for it. A+ I will definitely go back.

I almost went to another pawn shop that a girlfriend recommended but I wanted to find one closer to home. After doing research and reading reviews about Imperial Pawn Shop, I decided to give them a try. I made a good decision! David was the gentleman who helped me. He was polite and professional and kindly explained the pawn loan terms to me. Although this is the second pawn shop I've ever been to, I wouldn't choose any other. From the research I did on other pawn shops, this one far outweighs the others. Honest and upfront with their low (if not the lowest payment terms compared to other pawn shops I researched) and great customer service! I highly recommend you check them out before going anywhere else!

The people there were awful and not sympathetic at all. They wanted me to get a computer i wanted to sell way lower than its worth. Don't go there. Not a good place.Worst pawn i have been.

Extremely nice people. Very helpful. Explained the jist of industrial vs customer grade power tools and saved me some time. I should have went here instead of the neighborhood pawn shop when I sold my 2 year old macbook air, which they basically stole for $150.

Being caught short is never a fun thing. Imperial Pawnbrokers make the process of getting a loan as painless as possible. Everyone there is so nice, especially the young man at the counter, he is so polite and articulate, so pleasant to talk to.
