They have new owners who are absolutely AWESOME!! they are so funny and sweet!! Definitely a positive experience!! The last owner left such a negative impact on customers. It's so nice to have ppl who care working there!! Jenny and Sheila are the best!!! I'm telling all of my friends!!!💜

Under new owners, have literally never had a problem as long as I don't sign the check before I get to the counter and I have a valid ID and now they even can keep it on file in case you forget your ID. Fast, quick, easy. Even with a line I'm usually out in 10 or less

New owner is super nice and had me in and out in about 15 minutes for license plates

They don’t exchange currency at all so I’m not sure why they try to sound flashy. They only cash printed checks, that are only a week old TOPS, and charge you $20 just to do so. Very rude employees, the building isn’t clean or up-kept, and again; THEY DON’T EXCHANGE CURRENCY, so don’t let the name fool you. It’s a cash checking place that will charge you $20+ to cash your check (that you can’t endorse? *MAJOR red flag*) and will treat you like garbage while doing so.

I went to this place expecting to cash a check only to be told that she couldn't cash it because I signed it!?? What?? It's my name...you know the name on my ID you just looked at? Then she said I don't know where you regularly cash your checks with an attitude. I just shook my head thinking Wherever you cash a check you supposed to sign the back Weirdo. Just close it down if you don't want to provide the service. 0 stars. I wish I would've read the reviews first I wouldn't have wasted the time.

I went and cashed a check there today. THEY ARE UNDER NEW OWNERS!!! I REPEAT UNDER NEW OWNERS. That lady is no longer there. The person who cashed my check was fast and friendly. As person who worked in customer service for a long time I recommend this place!

I had a Walmart claims check that Walmart wouldn't even cash it. I went everywhere and finally this place cashed it it was a $750 check that cost $18 to cash thank you so much illini currency exchange

Went to cash a check today. Was told she wouldn’t cash it due to my signature on it. And IF, IF I was nicer she may possibly work with me. Is what I was told. All I asked is if I can cash my check! Extremely rude, unprofessional. Her etiquette in a customer service position is terrible! Didn’t greet me at all, was rude from the moment I I opened my mouth. If she hates her job THAT badly, please get rid of her! Get new people, you may have more customers! Before we the customers close you down for good, due to your terrible employees!
