Huntington Bank Village Park Ct, Ontario

Went to this bank to try to open a new account with the bank. I wanted to open a savings and two checking accounts with the proceeds from the sale of my house. Jamie lynn the teller had no idea what was going on. I was then told that because I don't have a utility bill I wouldn't be able to deposit my $170,000 there. I went back to huntington because they were so good to me back in college. I was a customer with them for years before I moved out of state. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. I'll be driving to Columbus to do my banking with bank of America.

Absolutely WORST BANK EVER!!!!! Corporate tells you one thing, branch tells you something else. They have been holding a check deposit for over a week never mind it cleared the issuing bank 6 days ago. Corp tells you to go to the bank to rectify situation, get there and they say you have to schedule an appointment. Have a friend that Huntington charged 20% of her direct deposit as a “fee” while not listed in terms and conditions anywhere. Plus ATMs are out of order more than they work. Happy I have other accounts and will be closing the Huntington account once I can get my funds out they’re holding hostage. Finally a bank uses your money, you are the customer, Huntington acts like they’re doing you a service when it’s the other way around! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND HORRIBLE BANK!!!

I've always had nothing but a positive experience during my visits to the bank and I've been banking with them for about 5 years now....I bank with the Ontario, Ohio Huntington branch....Good people !

This has got to be the most hideous, unprofessional, uncouth and just down-right despicable bank I've ever dealt with in 41 years of my life. Twice, they have "debited" checks from our account, claiming that said checks didn't have the proper signature on them. The branch manager argued with us and claimed that she saw the checks personally and they only contained one signature. I ordered the checks be sent back to me, because I know for a fact my wife and I signed them. Well, what do you know, the checks were signed and we also had placed our account numbers on them. Well, that didn't stop them from charging us their normal "returned check" fee, as well as a another fee of 10.00 for "maintenance." The first time this happened a couple of months ago, my wife and I wanted to close the account, but it was tied to multiple other accounts and we just didn't have the time to do it. This time, the same thing just happened to us(and we know for a fact both signatures are on it) and when we called customer service, they literally told us, "sir, we don't have a direct extension for that department." What kind of bank is this? We are appalled and disgusted with ourselves that we didn't close the account the first time this happened. There have been other issues with this second-rate, irrelevant bank, but I care not to discuss them any further. We're on our way to find a bank in our area who at least has a name tag in the banking system. Good riddens to second rate banking.

When walking in I was greeted and asked to have a seat told that someone would help me. I met with Gary, he has went out of his way to help me. As a local professional trying to help others I can't tell you how much I appreciated it. Customer service at its finest!

How can you possibly justify charging a $10 fee to cash a check that is been written from an account from their own bank? So heads up everybody Huntington is all about stealing your money. Even your own money you write as a check to somebody they charge $10 to cash it to somebody else. Absolutely filthy business practice. And of course the tellers act like I'm the bad guy. Horrible experience all around

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I have had so many problems the 4 times that myself has either called or went in personally has been nothing but rude people Terry one of the bank tellers is very unprofessional, she would not answer questions I had she hung the phone up purposely and when me or my father would call the bank back so WE could pay them they wouldn't talk and kept us on hold! IF I COULD STAR NEGITIVE I WOULD

Went there today to get money out of my account. The teller told me that we have to wait 15 plus minutes to get the money. I asked why do I have to wait when they are open and that was my money. The other teller with short hair that always there screams WE ONLY BEEN OPEN 10 MINUTES. So I then asked her if this was not in a bank? She rolled her eyes and walked away. This is why I will be closing my 3 accounts. You always have to wait, and this is the 3rd time I have been there and the same women is always there and always rude. . . I miss first merit.

This bank is slow, no matter the time of day or what you need, be prepared to wait, even if you are the only customer there. This ireview is not based on one visit, to bad this is the only Huntington Bank in Mansfield.

1st off they charge $10 to check your balance on non Huntington ATMs then 37.50 twice due to a mistake duplicate transaction $75 in total then the overdraft email comes 4 hours after the fee to tell you to make a deposit or incure a fee but even though their website says they can waive that fee one time per year the lady wouldn't knowing today is my payday and I only have $15 left to feed my family and get gas for work tells me NO we don't waive fees they are rude and don't care about their customers and the banker yelled at me for calmly asking her a second time to please help me out
