Mr. Brett Stephenson was our agent to sell our house located at Foxchase. We couldn't have been more pleased! We received multiple offers the very first day the house went on market, thanks in large part to Mr. Stephenson's incredible marketing. Houwzer brought in a fabulous photographer and videographer to showcase our home online, which created much more foot traffic and brought in serious buyers. Their marketing team is top notch and can't be beat! Although we received multiple offers, we ended up working with Cash offer deal. Mr. Stephenson along with Houwzer, kept the transaction moving along & getting to Closing in a timely manner. Throughout the whole home selling journey, Brett was always available to answer our questions, very responsive and respectable. On the whole we had great experience! Our experience with Houwzer has been awesome... coming off the back of a very poor experience with another realtor and trying to buy in a difficult market we weren't too optimistic. But our Houwzer agent Diane W. was incredible from start to finish! Her communication was outstanding she communicated every detail and every step along the our home buying journey. Trust was a huge factor for us and we quickly realized that she was someone that we could trust because it was clear that she had our best interest at heart. I know this a long review but we honestly don't have enough words! Oh did I mention from start (when we started working with Houwzer) to finish (settlement with keys in hand) it took us just 39 days! Contacted Houwzer Real Estate about a true Flat fee listing, different than what they advertise for For Sale By Owner seller. Couldn't get representative to answer a simple question and asked why when I contacted their agent by email no one bothered to let me know if they could help me sell my home or if they weren't interested just say so. No or poor communication is the first sign of a bad customer service experience, and when doing something as critical as selling a home for a client without it, it's nightmare waiting to happen. There are many upfront and communicative real estate companies that would love to have my business and know how important proper communication is. Apparently Houwzer a newer company hasn't figured that out yet. Gave them a chance and they dropped the ball bigtime. Thank goodness I didn't trust them with the sale of my house. Yep, not recommended.

Chris Johnson was great and our home of 28 years sold quickly, with multiple offers and well over list price. The fact we saved over $18,000 in commission costs was great too. Highly recommend them!

I had to move to the west coast from Philadelphia and I put my house up for sale with Houwzer. First, they are a great value compared to the traditional realtor pricing model. Second, they have the whole process well organized and I could see on my personal web page what steps still need to be complete and who was responsible for each step. Third, my agent, Stephan, went above and beyond what I expected from a realtor. He paid regular visits to the house after I had moved and gave me updates. He coordinated with service providers and provided access as needed. He even watered my plants when he visited! Selling a house when you live 2,700 miles away is stressful. But Stephan and the Houwzer team were able to minimize that stress and sold the property quickly for the right price.

Allison is just the best! She provided great insight on properties that would meet our needs, adapted to our schedule for visits and was super reactive answering every call or request right away. I was initially unsure about working with Houwzer because it is not a well known company, and there are many real estate companies that have a large footprint in my neighborhood. I decided to give them a call to see. I spoke with Howard Smith, and from that point on I never questioned the decision to utilize Houwzer. Our sale was a little more complicated then the average due to some recent storm damage to the home and we were moving out of the country prior to the home being listed. With all that said Howard confidently walked us through the entire process without a hitch. Even through the minor hurdles he was always available to listen to our concerns and gave us sound advice. I have purchased/sold homes before. Howard’s experience with real estate and his people skills are unparalleled. I genuinely suggest anyone to utilize Howard. We used Houwzer to sell our home. Their flat fee, team approach was the perfect choice for selling our home in a very hot market. Ross and his team provided an excellent marketing strategy, professional photos, and support during the selling process. The flat fee and media orientated marketing were best suited to selling our home quickly since it sold in 24 hours once the pictures were posted. We had lived in our home for 30 years so the fast paced, internet/social media marketing took a bit of adjustment, but Ross and Howard did a great job of keeping us informed and educated in the process as well as making all of this happen during a pandemic.

First Time Homebuyer Review: My husband and I bought our first home last week and we couldn't be happier with our experience using Houwzer. After multiple attempts to contact other realty companies in the area only to receive no returned calls or emails, we found Houwzer through a Facebook ad and decided to give it a go on a whim. Their website promised a fast, easy, one-stop-shop experience where we wouldn't have to use an outside mortgage company after our offer was accepted. Little did we know that we would not only end up with an amazing experience, but we'd also get the best realtor in the company. If you're looking for a realtor who will put her all into helping you find your dream home, Michelle is your girl! Her knowledge in the industry, navigation skills through the entire process, incredible honesty (a huge bonus for us as first-timers!), passion, and overall entire energy was nothing short of amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better person to lead us through the process. She truly fought for us every step of the way, answered every question we could find (which was a lot), and helped us through even the toughest negotiations until we finally found our perfect place - and for under our budget, too! Our Houwzer experience was excellent from beginning to end with Ross handling the sale of our home and Michelle assisting in the purchase of our new home. This was a new experience for us since we've never sold then bought so both agents made the process as smooth as possible for us keeping an open line of communication with us and responding to any of our questions. Allison Dubovsky was the BEST. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and clearly knows exactly what she is doing. She went above and beyond doing multiple things to make the sale happened that frankly the seller's agent should have been doing. During our search she answered all of our questions, many times more than once, she got viewings scheduled right away and worked us on everything. After we under contract she was always in touch with us and the lender and through the multiple issues (due to the seller's side or from my lender, not her) that arose she always kept her composure and worked on getting us over the hurdle. The other people involved, Amanda, Ryan, Amber and everyone else, were also fantastic, but we didn't work with them as much, so I don't have as specific information. I can say that the way Houwzer works as a team and has everything in house is incredibly convenient and made us feel secure the entire time. We never felt pressured, and the whole experience with them was great Thank you!!

I spoke with them back in October to sell my home on S Darien st near Christian. We did a walk through of the home and a week later he called to tell me he thought 380k was a good listing price. I intentionally did not tell him what I wanted to list at because I wanted to see what they knew. Fast forward to March, I sold my home ON MY OWN WITHOUT AN AGENT OR ANY EXPERIENCE for 70k more. Seventy thousand dollars. $450k-$380k=70k! Lol that is life changing money for most of the people on this planet including myself! That would have been an interesting enough story for a judge to hear if I agreed to the 380. Do your own research everyone. We all have the tools now to do our own work. Do not use an agent unless you absolutely have to or don't care about money.

Its a no brain buying or selling with Houwzer professionals experienced great value Ispoke with two other home owners in town who sold with Houwzer both were pleased and both saved even more then I did good luck.

All I can say is my experience was bad enough to prompt apologies from more than one employee of Houwzer. However, outside of verbal apologies, no action was taken to resolve my experience. I don't think they were malicious, but I got the sense they were too busy to give my case personal attention and my experience suffered for it.

If you are considering a Realtor, Houwzer should be at the top of your list. Their listing fees are the most reasonable you can find - and their quality, responsiveness, and personalized support is top notch. Their buy/sell bundle is a great concept that saves people a ton of money, without at all skimping on the level of service you get. With both my selling and buying agent, I felt like I was their number one priority with each interaction!! I envision other firms may have to adapt their business models to compete with Houwzer as this amazing company continues to grow and gain momentum.

My fiancé and I are first time home buyers and we can honestly say that Houwzer provided us with the best agent! Mr. Dan Robinson was prompt with responses, knowledgeable, and extremely personable! We truly love that guy! The only reason why I am not giving Houwzer 5 stars is due to our financial guy, Andrew! He was trash! He did not effectively communicate with anyone on our team, but the biggest issue was the fact he made so many costly errors involving the financial aspect that Dan luckily caught. This is a great company all around and if Dan is on your team you are sure to get the house of your dreams!

If you want an excellent and knowledgable agent, Kyah Brown is your answer. When I interviewed her, I was quite impressed. She answered all my questions, even the ones that stumped other agents. She also followed up with an email on capital gains taxes, where other agents deflected and simply referred me back to my accountant. While she didn't profess to know everything, she impressed me with what she did know.She developed a plan, set a price and kept me informed every step of the way. We even closed for higher than the asking price. And of course, I plan to use her again.

We had an amazingly smooth experience buying our first home with Houwzer. Our agent, Scott Hicks, knew what we wanted and helped us find exactly that. He was very knowledgeable about general home maintenance and was very informative when we would go on tours. Scott even found us an amazing first time home buyers grant to help us financially afford our place! Also, when we had some trouble getting the mortgage finalized due to certain issues with our house, Scott guided us through the process of getting repairs done and now we are homeowners!
