Well, I used the drive thru and was amazed by the awesome customer service on (04/11/22 12:07 pm) It was pretty fast for me. I usually like to walk into the credit union. The teller was awesome. There was no name on receipt to compliment her. I’ve been here at the credit union for over 30 years, and still have no regrets. I actually drive 4 hours every 4-5 months to do business at the credit union. It’s worth the drive. Thank You guys for making us feel special.

I LOVE the Houston Police Credit Union and they definitely love their first responders and families. I handle all of my banking needs here and would highly recommend to any officer or city employee. Can't beat a "real" Credit Union with sooooo many Great Perks!!!

I requested a new debit card via their secure message center on 09/27. I received a message back that said my request had been submitted on 09/28. It’s 11/29 and I haven’t heard anything since. I have also not received a new debit card. Why have a secure message center if requests submitted via this portal are not taken seriously? Aside from that, this credit union offers great rates on everything! Probably just have to call in instead of sending messages if you want quick service.

Since system upgrade in February, I have experienced numerous issues to the pointI I no longer recognize my once revered credit union. It’s so sad how bad things have gotten. Seems they have hired a call center to field the numerous complaint calls that are coming in. I’ve been with the bank since 1989, and never has it been this bad. Total disappointment!

This has been my financial institution since I was 17. That was 24 years ago. If it were open to anyone, I would recommend it to everyone. However, the fact that it is for police employees and it's families is what keeps it special. I've always had pleasant experiences, forged great relationships with many of the member service reps. I LOVE my credit union and I love that I'm able to take of all my financial needs through them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The amount of times that I have called to ask a simple question and received a completely irrelevant or incorrect answer is ridiculous. I called three different times to ask the same question and received several different answers to the point that I just came into the branch and asked in person. They make mistakes and don’t take accountability. The have an attitude on the phone when you ask questions. I left my drivers license while depositing a check one day and was not Informed or contacted until 6 months later. Every-time I need something resolved or have a concern, I can’t even count on my credit Union. All they cause is stress and confusion. To be honest I wanted to keep this off of their reviews and I emailed the supervisor committee a few times already over the past few weeks and have yet to hear from them. However I see here that I’m not the only one with this problem. All I wanted was for my concerns to be acknowledged but I’m a fool for expecting anything but the bare minimum from HPCU. Save urself the trouble and do ur banking elsewhere :)

HPCU has changed my life! Saving me THOUSANDS! It started when I opened my account, my credit wasn’t great at all, but once I did my part they were able to approve me and now all my business is with them! Thank you so much!

Love this bank very helpful and always there when needed ! Changed my life in the best way I wish I would have known sooner about y’all keep up the great work helping people better there lives !

I have been a member since 1971. Over the years, I have also used different banks and credit unions. No one has even come close to the service I have received from HPCU. The few problems over the 50 years have always been resolved quickly. Proud to be a member!

I've never had any issues with the staff but their loan rates are nothing special. You'd think an 800 FICO score and never having been late on a payment to them (or any other credit institution) for well over 20 years would garner an exceptional interest rate. It does. Just not here.
