    I had original plans to look at a car that I was told by a certain salesman was on the lot. When I arrived I was given a different salesman and told the car would not arrive for four more days. But I’m so glad for it! Leonard was easily the best choice for a salesman. He was very honest and upfront about the cars I was looking at and had a lot of patience. He was consistently checking in during some of the more tedious processes and made sure that I was happy and able to afford the car I wanted. If you go to Honda of denton make sure to ask for leonard and to see what socks he has on that day ;).

    Want to commend Honda of Denton for courteous, efficient staff. Special appreciation to Hector Martinez: He met me with enthusiastic smile and was thorough when taking my information. Hector let me know that the process of selling my car would take some time, and checked on me to see that I was comfortable during that while. After checking other dealers in the area, Honda of Denton gave me the best quote. When I took the car to them, they had Hector drive me home. Thanks for an awesome experience.     I went to Honda of Denton to purchase a car that we had leased. They worked with me to get me a new car at a great price. The most important part of my experience, though, was Mr. James Morrison.     We were fortunate enough to have 2 salesmen help Us in buying our Honda. Rob & Hector were both awesome. It was a rainy afternoon & they were very Busy.     Honda of Denton has exceptional service. Ask for Cheyenne Ballard! I called her a few weeks before purchasing my used vehicle from her. I asked her to help me find a low-mileage Highlander. I expected it to take several weeks or even months. Within a few days, she called me with just what I needed. When I arrived, she had the car in front and ready for the test drive. She was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and all its bells and whistles. I asked many questions while on the test drive, and she had all the answers. She helped me get a fair price for my trade-in and a reasonable price on my new 2018 Highlander. The finance manager was straightforward to work with also. I highly recommend Cheyenne and Honda of Denton!

    Blake was great! He answered all of the questions i had and was super duper helpful. He made my re-financing process very easy! I appreciated this very much! The finance employee who i met with after was the opposite however. She was the least friendly person I’ve come across at this location. She was not helpful, and she made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Management, please get her some customer service training, seriously.

    I highly recommend using these guys! Ask for Josh Hayes next time you are here. I wanted a specific color Passport no one had, he found one and Honda of Denton brought it to lot in less than 48 hours!

    NO Customer Service at ALL. We walked in the South door and after walking all the way through, not ONE Single Salesman came up to offer help. We had to go to the receptionist and ask her to find someone. He wasn't very helpful either, seemed like he really didn't care. But probably best because we quickly found out that they charge "Add-ons" - about 5,000.00 above sticker price. So we went next door to Toyota with our loan check from Navy Federal Credit Union and purchased, drove a new Highlander off Their lot instead. Scott, the owner, later gave Exceptional customer service when I needed a little more instruction on operating it!

    I recently bought a brand new HRV sport from Hector at Honda of Denton! This was my first car purchase on my own so initially I was very nervous. I told Hector all of the things I was looking for and he knew the perfect car to put me in! He did a great job at explaining the process to me and making sure that I was comfortable.     Dealerships makes us nervous. But when we went to this dealership, Jacob Matthews greeted us with a warm smile and made us really really comfortable. At no point he pressurized us and was very transparent. It was only because of him and his transparency we ended up buying a civic. Thank you Jacob for helping us and making us comfortable.

    Sold my car to Honda of Denton back in Dec 2021. Payout amount was $13, 826…sold it for $15, 500 (noted on bill of sale). My salesperson told me that the overage would be deposited into my acct, never received it. Spoke with my bank who financed the car and they only received payout amount. Reached out to my salesperson (no response). Spoke with Finance Manager and was told it wasn’t her area, that it would be up to accounting. Tried contacting accounting to no avail. Update: they reached out to me and explained what happened. Communication is important! Thank you so much!!

    My son was in the market for a new Civic. After calling around to different dealerships nobody had any cars available for at least 2 months. I bought a car maintenance plan from a different dealership and they helped me get the information needed and waived the remaining fee I wasn't expecting due to poor information of another dealership.     Had a great experience at Honda of Denton. Tried to make an appointment but couldn't get through so I drove the 20 miles up there to get my first service after purchasing my car in May. Matt the service advisor was great, friendly and helpful. Said it would be about an hour and after 45 minutes it was done. There was no charge since it was my first service which I didn't know so was pleasantly surprised, and they ran it thru the car wash. Thanks Matt you are great!

    Needed a pretty easy repair. Had an appointment and waited nearly 2 hours for a diagnostic, when then I was quoted $400 for new spark plugs (mind you theyre $10 each) and $400 for an ignition coil. I left crying and they hinted I should just sell my car. Got it taken care of for $200 elsewhere. I've had good experiences before with them replacing airbags and other defective stuff but I will never do service there again.

    I started my process but looking to see how I could sell my vehicle for on the Kelly Blue Book website. I got a call from Honda stating they believe they could increase the purchase price. I made an appointment and went in. Initially I wasn’t planning on buying a car but when I was partnered with Mekell Busby, that all changed. He was extremely courteous and helpful.     My wife’s battery died at 5pm. I get it jumped and head to Honda of Denton. I get there right before closing and before a nasty storm hit. Johnny my service advisor got the battery changed out and me back on the road in just a half hour. He went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get the battery before they closed!!     While on vacation in Denton, our 2018 Honda Pilot went into “limp” mode on Sunday night. Early the next morning I called Honda of Denton and spoke with Matt. He informed me the day was full, but due to my circumstances (on vacation) he still made me an appointment. I had the vehicle towed to Honda of Denton that morning. Matt explained to me the problem with the vehicle and informed me of what to expect. I received my vehicle fixed and clean on Wednesday afternoon just as Matt advised me initially. I chose Honda of Denton because of the reviews and glad I did. Even though it was an unexpected expense during vacation, we were able to continue enjoying Texas. Thanks Matt.

    Bought my car from freeman honda unfortunately we were coming back into town from Oklahoma when my tire went flat. We immediately saw we were close to this dealership and thought okay that’s reassuring they can help us. WRONG. I will NEVER come to this location ever again. We were NOT greeted friendly whatsoever by anyone. We explained we had a flat could they please change it you’d think super simple right? No. The gentleman told us NO ONE had a Jack we could borrow since my boyfriend left mine at home on accident we were headed back to Dallas from vacation and he had to work and I was sick. I guess human decency and kindness has gone down the drain. When I told the guy that I got my tires from freeman Honda I was informed “that does not matter we can not do anything here best we can do is rotate your tires for $50 AND it will be 1-2 hours”. I immediately called freeman and explained the situation he said they should be able to help me. A “service manager” later came up to me stating I had questions I said I don’t have questions but im not understanding why you can’t put my spare on and that be it why must we wait 1-2 hours plus pay $50 for something I do not need. He rudely stated they only take appointments and first and that they were soooo busy yet we saw plenty of employees walking around on phones and cursing and eating. Almost an hour and a half and we get our tire changed. I REFUSED to have my tire fixed there much less a new one. Obviously I need a new tire but no even spoke to me or said what was wrong with the tire. Human decency IS NOT a thing at this junk of a location. Save your time and money and go to freeman.

    Was shopping for a new vehicle and after visiting several places, I stopped at Honda in Denton. It didn’t matter that it was over 100 degrees in Texas. This young man named Seth was eager to help me find a vehicle. He took the time to show me all the parts of the Honda HRV I was looking at. After a test drive, I bought the HRV. Seth was so courteous and professional and he did an excellent job - if you need a car, go see Seth.

    This review is is not about the dealership. It is about the parts department. I called about 2 weeks and the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and not professional at all. (she was acting like she was DOING ME a favor) I called again and the same lady was AGAIN in a bad mood or something. Moral of the story, I'm getting my parts online or from another dealership and second HONDA of Denton is literally 3 minutes away from my house but I will be buying my honda from another dealership and I'm telling all my friends and family about it.

    Scam, Not reliable, please be VERY VERY CAREFUL while dealing with Honda Of Denton !!! I recently purchased a car from Honda Denton, was thinking this as my best experience and gave 5 Rating but after receiving documents realize they adds some insurances without my notice(hence decreasing rating to 1). During finance process with Denzel I told him that I don't need any insurance/policies (have my own insurance) and then went with multiple docs sign. After receiving docs at home noticed $6000 extra charges (for some insurances). Requested him to cancel the insurance(by deducting the prorated charges), they saying these already added and non cancellable. No one informed about these insurances and its charges- who added and without my notice - a surprise for me. I agree with the below posts and reviews, Denzel needs to be reevaluated. While requesting them to check who added and to cancel those insurances(by deducting the prorated charges) got reply - "You can go and fill the law suit, have your signed docs". I don't know when they added the insurances, + reading multiple docs there itself not possible (was relying on them as I informed them that "I have own insurance and no insurance required from them"). Who added and why I was not informed about these 3 insurances details and specially that these are "non cancellable" is a big question. Buyer won't forget if he himself selecting such non cancellable one and that too for $6000. Trying to follow up with him since 5-6 days but getting reply manager on leave, call later.. Guys, request you to recheck your docs (if already purchased car from there) & be careful while dealing with Honda Denton and pls post if same experience.

    Went in for tire alignment and rotation, and because my tire pressure light had been on for a few days but there was no clear tire leak or anything. They told me the light was probably just a computer malfunction, but that they would check and make sure. Then when I went to pay I only had cash on me and they told me that they don’t take cash, which would have been helpful if they told me before hand. They didn’t have an atm either so I had to find a different way to pay. Then when I was pulling out as soon as I was back on the high way the tire pressure light turned back on, I stopped at the nearest mechanic and found that there was indeed a leak in my tire. Crazy to me that Honda didn’t mention it to me, even though they said they were going to look.

    Today was our first experience with the service department at Honda. I am pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism extended to us. Brett was the person who booked the appointment, checked us in, and checked us out. He also provided us a courtesy vehicle. Having had several terrible experiences with Ford in DFW, this was a very positive experience. If you are unsure whether to use this or another dealership for service, I recommend the Denton Honda. They even washed my car before returning it. On a second visit, things didn't go as well. Some issues with service, got a quote via text message (really?) and a few minor things. In the end, they took a little off the price, which was appreciated.

    Had a great service at honda of denton last week. ( I will say their CRM services over reminded me about the appt as their online scheduler had some glitches. ) I showed up, dropped my car off, and even got a free shuttle to help me get to work while they worked on my car. They took care of all of my concerns and I just picked up my car today with all the work fixed. This should resolve the issue I was having.     Did all the paperwork on-line for financing. Was approved. Got to the dealer and they ran the information again. Came back with the numbers and had added an extra $5000 to the paperwork. Long story short, they did remove the $5000 along with an additional $3000 from the total. I did get the car, but wow 5000 for inventory cost.

    I have never thought buying a car could be this pleasant. I had an appointment with Jonathan Alvarado yesterday and ended up purchasing a 2018 Honda Civic. 'Jon' was super friendly, he did not beat around the bush in terms of what he could and could not do, and me made sure that literally everything was as easy as he could make it. If you ever go to this dealership, please make sure to seek him out! I could not recommend him enough to anyone I meet and will be referring a few other people to him as well. He even went over every single dollar of what I would be spending and what it would be going towards. Just as well, Denzel in the finance department was equally as amazing. He told me exactly what I could expect and legitimately tried to help me in every possible way to make my payments as manageable as possible with no frustration involved! Also could not recommend him enough! Thank to both of them, I bought the first car I actually wanted rather than something only budget friendly with manageable payments to match!!!

I would to thank Jeremy who take care of the sales deal and test drive.     Update (9-2-21) Took vehicle (8258 milage)in for a nail in one tire. Was informed that the manufacturer's warranty on the tires did not include road hazard, which can be purchased separately in addition to an extended warranty. We elected to not buy the extended warranty with this dealership.. We were not told all of this at the time of the vehicle purchase. The service guy stated that we should have been told this at the time. We thanked him politely, and took our tire business to NTB next to Home Depot.

    ASK FOR HECTOR!! He will go above and beyond to make sure you drive away with a car you actually love. When he found out I've been taking Ubers to work, he gave me rides home which is over an hour away from my job, and as soon as my car was ready, he took me to pick it up. He was available anytime I had questions, and was able to leverage flexibility with the finance department to make sure I was able to get a car when I needed it most. I never write google reviews, but I felt like it was the least I could do after everything he did for me.

    It is safe to say that during my lifetime I have had a few experiences with car dealerships. But this was definitely a different experience. Usually when you pull up to a car dealership you’re not able to even turn off your engine before you are bombarded by salesman all waiting to “assist” you. This was not the case at Honda of Denton. My mother and I were able to gather our things and walk in when ready. Once we were inside THEN we were warmly greeted by the hostess. She insisted in getting me to my sales guy I had an appointment with. Jonathan (whom was a manager) came out first greeted me gave me a quick description about the used truck I was interested in and the expectations moving forward in regards to getting the vehicle ready. Offered coffee and water and told us our rep would be there in a few. In a matter of a couple of minutes our salesman was walking around the corner. There are a plethora of words that I could use to describe the service that Blake provided. As he was our salesman he never gave the feeling of being a salesman. He never tried to sell me the car it was more of a discussion between two friends regarding a interest in buying a truck. He never wants gave the impression or feeling of forcing a sale. Never gave the energy of even being anxious about the sale, which made it so much easier to be able to make the decision to purchase the truck. There were a few times where we needed time amongst ourselves be able to discuss a few things. Not only did he happily give the time for needed, he did not come in every few minutes asking if we were done talking. Which was really comforting. Within 25 minutes of us being there we had been shown, test drove and made the decision to buy the truck. I am a stress the fact that the most comforting part was that he sold us the truck without ever selling us anything. However when he did do is provided confidence and reassurance that if we were to make a purchase van Honda of Denton would do everything in their power to make sure that when the car was driven off the lot It would be in excellent condition And they would make sure that there were no problems underneath the hood and any scrapes and scratches they would buffer out. The greatest part being that we would have assurance that it would be a good reliable car and it would be unlike the stress of buying used cars from anywhere else because it was their mission to make sure that the integrity of their cars continues to compliment the reputation Honda and Denton works for and deserves. We were then passed to Breezy whom was the financial manager. And her service was just a refreshing as that of Blake’s. She went over and beyond to make sure that the financial process went as easily as possible. Even when coming across a few obstacles she patiently , kindly and professionally help where she could and provided the same time to allow us to talk amongst ourselves if needed. When we walked out at the end of the day we did Matt walk out with the truck only because they promised to ensure that they would check and fix any and every detail that was prominent to the truck in the best condition in shape. Blake even went so far to bring my truck to me at work two days ago to ensure that I didn’t have to miss work. When I say that I am so happy and couldn’t ask for anything more than the world class 5 star service we received. Thank you Blake, Breezy, and Honda of Denton for your phenomenal service and bar you have set.

    I worked with Tommy Brooks and he very patient and willing to get me the best deal even during a car shortage. I been to a few dealerships before coming here and either the cars had too much or too little. When I came here I test drove a Honda Accord and it was perfect! It was right in the middle of what I was looking for. Their was only ONE 2021 Honda Accord in but it was not my budget. Tommy was able to find one on transit that was a lower trim and was able to lower my monthly payments. Amazing! Other dealerships had insane monthly payments and pretty much weren't willing to bring them down. I love everything about my Honda Accord. I am a first time buyer and they made everything easy for me and explained everything throughly.

    I Honestly have very mixed feelings - I liked the service and love the car, but I am very put off at how the closing went. The car is great and I’m glad that I have the lifetime warranty - but I wish they were clearer up front about a few things. You pay for the lifetime warranty on top of the list price. That’s fine, just a surprise. The first “monthly estimates” they presented and wanted me to sign were twice as high as where we negotiated to and twice as high as the payment estimator we had from Geico. After all was said and done, the final price jumped nearly 25% from sticker with nothing added on, so be prepared for that. Not necessarily something they can control as it is a lot of taxes and fees, but I wish that pricing was clearer going into the process so you don’t get sticker shock as you are starting paperwork. I just don’t feel I should have to negotiate monthly price down $300-$400 from where you start.

    This is the only dealership that I have used since I moved to the area. Last Saturday I bought my fifth car with them and every time is a great experience since the moment you park. This Saturday I had the pleasure of meeting Roy El Hachi. Buying a car is never easy and buying a used car is even harder. Roy was extremely helpful in every single step of the process, he listened to what I was looking for and found my daughter the perfect car. He went above and beyond to make this experience a great one. He even went to Party City to get my daughter balloons so we could surprise her with her car. He delivered the car and assembled the balloons so I could focus on just surprising my daughter. If you go buy a car there please ask for him, I promise you, you won’t regret it.

    Prior times I went to honda the experience was great. But this time it wasn't. They low balled me on the cars trade value and didn't offer gap insurance for the car and didn't explain why the car price was different then what they posted online. Just a bad buying experience this time and won't be going back.

    Took my vehicle in twice and the service manager lied to me and said it was a normal noise i was hearing . I feel since its a brand new car they didnt even put it on the lift and inspect it , took it to Honda of Irving and they diagnosed the problem as being the spring was installed upside down from the factory ill never take my vehicle to honda of Denton again

    When we started shopping for vehicles this was the first place we came to. We were treated phenomenally by Melvin even though he knew we weren't ready to buy. After a few weeks we came back to purchase our new CRV. There were some issues and we did not purchase the vehicle. The next day the general manager Rob called to apologize and was very willing to work with us. We came by and purchased our new vehicle in a breeze.     One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a car dealer ever! Flew from PA to pick up a 2014 Toyota Sequoia and my expectations were far exceeded. Best price I found nationwide, followed up by the best service I’ve ever received from a dealer. Ahmad was my salesman, and Honda of Denton is blessed to have him on board. He really treated me like I was family. When I dealt with him over the phone he was nothing but professional, and in person he was a real pleasure to work with. The vehicle was prepped before my arrival, fully gassed up and anything wrong was dealt with. When we are in need of another new vehicle I would consider making the trip again just because my experience was so good! Hands down, one of the best dealerships in the country. Great job guys!

    Had my vehicle inspected at Honda of Denton. Was offered help as soon as I opened the service department door. Was pleasantly greeted and asked me how they could help. Immediately took my car back to complete inspection. It was done a little over an hour and I was checked out and was escorted to my car by the serviceman and... to my surprise!! My car had been washed and wiped dry!! Was extremely pleased! This kindness saved me time and money!! Thank you guys for your great service!!

    Overall, I'm pleased to say this experience was a better one. In the past, I was a customer of Classic Pre-Owned in Denton. The quality and concern disappeared from them after I bought my vehicle from them. With Honda of Denton, the care and concern has not stopped on the service department's part. They have been excellent!! However, the sales department needs some improvement with familiarizing themselves on the products (vehicles) they sell. The saleslady who sold a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport to me was NOT familiar with any of the vehicle's history or its features. She was not honest with me (whether it was on purpose or not is unknown) when I inquired about an indicator light being on. She told me some door or other apparatus had been left open. As it turns out, the Blind Spot Detection system had a bent bracket on one of its sensors, causing said indicator to illuminate. The vehicle had been involved in a prior accident and no care was taken to fix the bracket or sensors BEFORE IT WAS SOLD TO ME. Sounds a bit funny, doesn't it?? Fortunately, the warranty folks and Honda of Denton were able to repair the bracket and realign both rear sensors with no extra fees applied!! A BIG thank you to Brett, to Andy, to the service department, and it's technicians for correcting the problem.

    Ray did an amazing job helping me get my 2021 Honda Passport. He answered all my questions and never pressured me. He worked with me and made me feel comfortable. Denzel in finance was able to get me a warranty and was very kind. Finally, Ray had to go pick up my car somewhere so it wouldn’t be available for a few days. Patrick ensured that I would not be car- less and hooked me up with a rental. Great experience and better than those sleazy dealers elsewhere.

    My husband and I came to Honda of Denton to see if we could get a bigger car for our growing family. At first, I was a bit apprehensive about coming here beacuse of a previous bad experience at this same location. However, we experienced excellent service the moment we walked in.     So normally my expectations with dealers working on cars is pretty low, but Honda of Denton actually did a really good job. They gave me a loaner during the time I had my car in the shop and fixed it right the first time which isn't always common. Honestly I will probably take my car back next time it has an issue, thank you Honda of Denton for the great experience. 👍

    I just moved here from out of state and had some damage to my car on the drive down. My previous dealership failed to get my splash guard back on correctly and it got damaged while driving. Honda of Denton told me over the phone they had a replacement part on hand but would need to take some time to diagnose and possibly order other parts in. I dropped my car off in the morning and 3 hours later they called to say everything was fixed and ready to go. I expected this to be an all-day (or possibly multi-day) fix but they were so quick to get my car back to perfection. Everyone, from the employee in the parts department to the service advisors I worked with were so friendly and helpful. I’m glad I found such a great dealership so close by.

    They are offering life time warranty in all the vehicles with less than 100,000 miles. Good deal. Hector was our salesperson and he is absolutely great.     Friday, August 6, I took my Honda in for an issue with my rearview mirror. The entire rearview mirror came down with pieces of the windshield attached to the post. I am pretty sure that’s not supposed to happen. I’ve owned many cars and I’ve had rearview mirrors come down due to the Texas heat, however, never with pieces of the windshield attached to it. I got the feeling that I was being blown. Friday I was advised that it would take ALL DAY for the Honda representative to get back to them to let them know if my warranty would cover the windshield. I am very strong, but I cannot snatch a rearview mirror off the windshield and take pieces of the windshield with it. No one ever contacted me back on Friday. I had to call them myself on Monday August 9th and was told that my warranty would not cover my windshield that the Honda rep didn’t think that it was a warranty issue. I was advised to contact my insurance to pay for a windshield that clearly has faults in it. Denton Honda definitely lost a customer due to the lack of customer service. And the fact that the warranty should cover the issue with the windshield. So just know if you ever had this issue the warranty will not cover according to the Honda representative. Hal Chapman from Honda of Denton reached out to me to try to make the situation right with my windshield. After a little time and several phone calls my windshield has been replaced on my Honda accord. The customer service was 100% better as well as the advisor that I was dealing with this time. I am very pleased and appreciative with the level of customer service that I received from Honda Denton. August 26, 2021

    The whole experience was great. I was told someplace else that I needed a whole new ac system. Honda of Denton diagnosed my problem and replaced only the one part of my ac that wasn't working. The cost was half what I was quoted somewhere else. I will definitely return to Honda of Denton for any future problems.

    We went to 5 different dealerships across the metro over the last few weeks before going to Honda of Denton. We were met by Kris shortly after we got out of the car. He was friendly and welcoming and listened to what we were looking for and what our situation was. He was the first salesman out of 6 dealerships to try to problem solve and offer let us test drive the model I was looking for. I feel like everywhere else, we had to do part of the work, but Kris took care of every step. We understand things are crazy in the car and home business right now, but Kris and Honda of Denton gave us the best sales experience we’ve had in the metro.     I'll start by saying this review is based on our new car purchase in July 2021 and during the covid shortage of vehicles. We had spent a solid 2 months looking for the exact 2022 Odyssey EX-L White and they were no where to be found. I had been texting Jacob with internet sales, and he stayed on top of things and found us one probably a month into our first contact. When we got to the dealer, I had already filled out the finance qualifications online and had a quote and payment options texted to me the week prior before I made the trip to this dealer. We were greeted by Kylie who had taken over for Jacob when we arrived and she was very nice and took care of us and was very helpful. She already had the car we wanted ready when we got there, everything looked good. We did have to wait around 5hrs for financing, I guess they were short staffed, and went to lunch and waited. My only real issue was that once in the financing office, the loan officer said that the deal I wanted wasn't available, and we had to play the "let me check with my manager". I had explained I had already done the pre-qualify online and had a quote saved on my phone of what they told me I was approved for, payments and trade in value. In the end, I was able to get what I wanted, I was just annoyed having waited 5hrs for them to try and play games at the last minute. I would recommend this dealer, as the sales team was very honest and communicated with me very well, and we talked to almost every other dealer in DFW before we made our purchase and had been lied to and given the run around by half the other dealers. I would have given a 5 star if it had not been for the financing leaving a bad taste.

    How manipulative these dealers (generally speaking) are. Way to make our society great again (cynicism expressed here). Staff was very nice and cordial otherwise. Thank you for that.     Update (9-2-21) Took vehicle (8258 milage)in for a nail in one tire. Was informed that the manufacturer's warranty on the tires did not include road hazard, which can be purchased separately in addition to an extended warranty. We elected to not buy the extended warranty with this dealership.. We were not told all of this at the time of the vehicle purchase. The service guy stated that we should have been told this at the time. We thanked him politely, and took our tire business to NTB next to Home Depot.

    Was quoted 200$ diagnostic fee even though I bought my car less than a year ago. Explained all that to the service advisor and he still wanted to charge me 200$ just to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle. Told my husband who is car savvy ( obviously I'm not ) husband called and spoke with a different gentleman and got my diag for free.     Edit: We had such a great experience getting maintenance on our 2014 civic, not the cheapest service, but you get what you pay for. We took that civic to trade it in 7/9, and it was legitimately the easiest dealership experience ive ever had. Josh was more than accommodating and made the wife and i feel very comfortable. It was like he read our minds and brought us the perfect car for us. We were there at the dealership for MAYBE 3 hours and drove off extremely happy.

    On a recent service visit, I encountered the following issues: 1. They ordered a part for my vehicle, promised to call me when it arrived, but never did. 2. They had me pay for the $200 part before ordering, then attempted to charge me for it again after install. 3. They notified me that their shuttle would arrive shortly to pick me up at my house. An hour later I called for an ETA and they apologized and said they could not locate their shuttle driver. Overall, friendly but disorganized. Document everything in writing and plan to make follow up calls.

    We live in Dallas and purchased our vehicle from a Honda dealership there. We got a flat on the highway and happened to be right next to a honda dealership. We thought oh what good luck surely they can help us change our tire and put our spare on. Well we were wrong. They insist no one In this entire dealership has a jack except for a lift. I see 400 cars. Every single one of them has a jack in it. Plus what kind of shop doesn't have a floor Jack. So basically they said you can pay us for a tire rotation which cost $50 and wait an hour and a half for us just to put the spare on. These people are unfriendly, money hungry beaurucrats and we will never come here again. Shame on you all.

    Had an Amazing Experience at Honda of Denton—Just Not in a Good Way Drove up to Honda of Denton yesterday after the salesman I’d been working with said he was going to order my 2022 Accord EX-L Hybrid. He just needed me to drop off a deposit check and sign a few things, or so he said. Total price, including dealer add-ons, delivery, taxes etc. should have been just under $38,000. Dealer was asking $48,000+, including a $5000 “Market Adjustment” and around $4700 for the dealer add-ons, about six times the MSRP on the Honda website (The MSRP for the add-ons is $508, plus about $300 for window tinting.). Josh explained that the numbers on the Honda website are “way off” and, besides, they do not include the “installation cost” for the add-ons which is extra. In every previous car purchase I’ve made, the dealer add-ons always included installation—now suddenly they don’t? Plus, I’m not sure how long it takes to install floormats and a trunk tray, but I’m pretty sure the door edge film takes about 15 minutes if you include a smoke break. Splash guards are less than 30 minutes, and window tinting should be less than 2 hours according to a few tinting places I contacted. You do the math. Last, the dealer included a line item called miscellaneous fees or something similar which added up to $300+. When I asked what the fees were, Josh said they were fees for roads, railroads and the like. I asked them to itemize the fees for me and the exact amount for each but, strangely enough, they couldn’t do it. Stranger still, I looked online and couldn’t find any basis for the fees whatsoever, leading me to think they were entirely bogus. At that point I just walked out. When I shop for a car, I normally start with the MSRP and push the dealer down from there. Given the current environment I was willing to swallow my pride and pay full MSRP for the car. After all, dealers need to make a profit, too. That said, this is my seventh car purchase and I’ve never experienced such a brazen attempt to overcharge a customer. I don’t know if they singled me out because they think I’m stupid, or if they just think their customers have more money than brains. In any case, if you do decide to shop at Honda of Denton, please go in there with your eyes wide open and armed with facts.

We believe that you also understand this to be the case as you stated you "would prefer to buy a car from" us and after speaking with other dealers, acknowledging that you learned the experience elsewhere would have been similar, further stating that you would "definitely remove the review if" we were able to locate the vehicle you are interested in and sell it for $1,000 less than another dealer proposed to you (with a July arrival". In truth, you twice drove a different but similar vehicle which represented the present effects of the market and returned a third time requesting a vehicle we (and no other dealer in Texas) has, but which we said that we would attempt to acquire once we agreed to terms. You arrived at your "starting point" for pricing by an inaccurate assumption after visiting the Honda (not Honda of Denton) website which has various disclaimers regarding the final determination of pricing. When presented with a proposal, you would not stay to determine if there was actually an agreement we could reach, even when our sales manager came out to speak with you. It is always our goal to give our customers the best experience possible and that still extends to you.     Got an appointment for test drive a CRV but when i arrived, the sales person is not there and she didn't even send any email about her absence . Some guy call in the morning and says he will be the person attending us but he too was not there. So no test drive . No details no real information about the car as well.     I took my daughter in on a Saturday to buy a car. The sales person who helped us was very cordial. It took four and a half hours but she finally got a car. She drove it less that ten miles and the Check Engine light came on. She immediately called the sales person and he said the shop was closed, could she bring it in on Monday. She did and the shop said that the warning light had not been reset since they changed the oil, so they reset it. However, by the time she drove it home the light was back on. She tried to call the sales person back and he was conveniently too busy to take her call. She finally got ahold of him and he told her to bring it back. Meanwhile, she took it for diagnostics at O'Reilly and they confirmed it was the catalytic converter, not a simple reset from having the oil change. She took it back to the dealership and the manager told her, "Well, it is a used car so it is sold 'as is'." I got on the phone with this manager and told him I didn't appreciate this run around they were trying to do. He offered to give her a loaner car while his shop looked over the car. I dont trust his shop, especially after the first misdiagnosis, and he never would commit to who would be responsible for the cost of the repairs. He was surprised when i reminded him of my daughter's legal right to cancel a contract within three business days, which she has decided to do because she doesn't trust them. The manager is begrudgingly going to cut her a check and I hope that's the end of it. Please be very careful dealing with these people.

    Nice people, but poor quality work... Went in for oil change (which took almost 2 hours even though I had an appt), but apparently guy didn't put screws back on my splash shield. Next day while driving to work I heard strange noise. When I pulled over to check, a part under was being dragged against the road... Apparently screws were missing on same side needed to access oil. Shield was destroyed! Pretty easy to know what/who was at fault, but no responsibility was taken.. I sent picture of it hanging and missing screws. Was told to bring it back to be "checked", not fixed, but checked. I didn't have the luxury of going there multiple times for an unknown amount of time, with no guarantee they would even take responsibility for it...so I had to eat the cost of repair!! Will not be getting any more services done there! Beware!

I would to thank Jeremy who take care of the sales deal and test drive.     Denton of Honda promised on call that they are charging $1800 on top of MSRP so for 2022 Honda CRV EXL and it will come around $36700 out of door but you won’t believe they gave me pricing of $48000 for Honda CRV EXL when I went to see the car. I travelled 50 miles to purchase the car. I am so disappointed. What is the point of lying to customers ?

While we do sometimes make mistakes, as we discussed, when reviewing the multiple calls over a nearly 2 week period, I could find no record of any misleading conversations by the multiple persons who fielded your calls. Even after several missed appointments, your questions were answered professionally and courteously. I am sorry that you are disappointed, but I am also disappointed that you have not accepted my offer to try to reach an agreement with you that is acceptable to both of us. They are so guilty that they don't even want to send their markup price via email. You can inquire yourself and find out. Please note the words they are using "Below Market Price" and not MSRP. Market price is whatever they say it is! BTW there is no response after my update. You'd think they'll want to fix the problem! Few other dealerships are atleast open and upfront about their mark up when they say they have a delership package for $2000 for windows tint. This dealership is shady they won't tell you until you go to dearlership in person.

    So I went to Honda in Denton and the customer service was horrible I had to ask people to talk to me and figure out where to go for my appointment and then I left with a part of my bumper in my backseat and my glovebox is now hard to shut but didn’t notice this til I got home. Also now they are trying to charge me over $9,000 to get my car fixed when I just came in to check a wiring issue.

Explained all that to the service advisor and he still wanted to charge me 200$ just to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle. Told my husband who is car savvy ( obviously I'm not ) husband called and spoke with a different gentleman and got my diag for free.     Was completely taken advantage of when my partner and I bought our first ever car together here about 5 years ago. Still paying the price for it! The car became mechanically totaled about 2 years ago due to the head gasket going out, and they offered us a whopping $500 trade-in value. Worst part is the car isn't even paid off. Lesson learned too late: Bring your dad if you're a first time car buyer 🤣

    We purchased a 2016 Honda Odyssey from this Dealership and felt it was a reasonable deal. This was about 6 months ago. Our sales rep no longer works there, which is a slight concern. I got an e-mail from the customer relations dept. saying "our accounts show that we can look at trading your car in for a newer vehicle and lower your monthly payments". Went in for my appointment today and was told by a new sales rep that I would have to get an older vehicle with more miles to lower my payment. Furthermore, was saying that my vehicle was likely overvalued and I spent too much when I bought it <6 months ago. This experience left a very bad taste in the mouth and I would caution used car buyers. The warranties seem like great value, but I don't have great faith in the finance and customer service dept.

    Routine oil change, tire rotation and various other regular maintenance items. I was told they recommended changing my engine and cabin air filters. I declined, went to a parts store afterwards, bought the filters and, upon taking the other ones out to replace, noticed they had very little use on them. I think I replaced them in July or August before we went on a road trip to Colorado. It’s now late December. The filter under the hood looked close to new, some debris but mostly white with very little darker areas from dirt, etc. The cabin filter behind my glove compartment looked brand new out of the box! No real loss here as I can save the filters for another day when they are needed. I’m left with the feeling I can’t trust the service dept at Honda of Denton. I was actually trying to give them another chance after not getting good service before. I’ll go back to McDavid Frisco where I’ve gotten better service and have more trust in them.

    Went for an oil change and tire rotation. Overall great service- they washed my car and topped off my fluids as well. However they forgot to put back one of my tire air caps and didn’t reset the service indicator. They replaced the cap and got everything resolved the next day, so no complaints here.

I purchased my car 10/27/2021 , the man who sold me my car was Josh, it is 11/29/2021 and now have had to take my car back twice both times taking over 1week and a half. I have had to borrow a rental car from Honda longer than I had my ACTUAL CAR the mood is very unprofessional how can they sell broken cars!and today I get a call from them stating I have to PAY the deductible to fix THE BROKEN CAR THEY SOLD ME!!! I am expected to make a payment a car payment for a car that I have driven less than 2 weeks this is a bad dealership explain to me how this is right.

    My engine began to misfire while I was on a road trip for business. Luckily I was staying in the area for another week to visit friends and family. I had JUST taken my car in a month before this for the same issue before driving from Illinois to Texas. The last dealership misdiagnosed the problem, but Honda of Denton took care of it. Not only did they fix it for a small discount considering I had taken the car in to a different Honda dealership and was still having issues, they also assured me that even though the fix was big, it was worth the investment because my car was in such good condition. Matt treated me with the best customer service - he communicated with me and answered all of my questions (of which I had many), understood my frustrating situation, and he even took the car through the wash before handing the keys back to me. They had it done before I needed to get on the road again. I am so grateful for their help and assurance, especially considering the stress of car troubles when traveling! The car has since gotten me from Texas to Florida and now North Carolina - drives better than it did before when the issue wasn’t actually resolved, and no check engine light has appeared since. Thank you Honda of Denton! I would highly recommend them to anyone. I should also mention that when I lived in Denton, this dealership was always my go-to place. I knew I could rely on them!

    I want to thank Steve (service manager) and Jonathan (service advisor) for being exceptional and fixing an issue caused by one of their technicians. I brought my car in for an oil change and multi-point inspection, and I also asked them to replace the wipers. Unfortunately, after I left the lot and after closing hours, I realized my windshield had been cracked by whoever replaced the wipers. After bringing the car in again and speaking with Steve, he promised to take care of the issue and assigned me to Jonathan as my service advisor. Not only did they make things right, they also took care of it quickly and promptly. I appreciate it not just from a customer perspective, but as a PR professional who works in that industry. I’d also like to note I’ve also had exceptional service a year or so ago by Matt (service advisor) when I first bought my car and noticed the infotainment system was bleeding colors (literally less than a week off the lot). He made sure everything was fixed, and it’s been working great ever since. I choose the premium service price because Honda knows Honda, but it’s in situations like this where I appreciate the customer service, too. Thank you for making things right and making this a much more pleasant experience.

    I went to get my extra key fob for my car and a oil change. When they where done they said the extra key was in my car. Come to find out after I got home that the key was different and did not work! They gave me the wrong one. So now I have to take time out again, put miles and on my leased vehicle and go back!     Very friendly! I wanted to get my car checked out before leaving on a road trip, so they ran a free multi-point inspection. They topped off the fluids and corrected the tire pressure as a courtesy. They reassured me that everything was in great condition, so I was more confident in the car and had a worry-free road trip.

    The service reps were excellent! They made sure to schedule my appointment at a time that was convenient and they were there to intercept my car immediately upon arrival. They finished the work in good time and were very courteous when I returned to pick up the car. This appears to be an excellently managed service department.

    WOW!!! My whole experience from the moment we drove up to the moment I left in my brand new car was so great! Jonathan Alvarado was introduced to us by a very helpful woman. From then on everything went smoothly. All the questions we had throughout the visit were answered and all the cars we had in mind were shown to us. Jonathan was very patient with me since I WAS a first time buyer. He gave me the best deal his manager Patrick could offer us. Not only that but after my car buying experience Jonathan took the time to show me the features my car had to offer and I fell even more in love with my new car.     The customer service at this dealership is 10/10. I won’t be taking my Civic anywhere else!!! Suggestion: no more styrofoam cups in the relax and wait area 🙏🏼 Paper is better for the environment!
