I recently purchased a 2022 Honda Passport from them, which I think puts me at 5 cars/trucks purchased from them and 3 from others in town….I have a problem. Ashley and Morocco are my favorite. Anyway, here is what I like. I filled out credit app online, we worked out our deal over text (all dealerships deal, no one just gives you lowest price possible first offer, but over text is WAY less stressful), closed deal over text and they texted when paperwork was ready. We came down, signed paperwork and left within 45 minutes. We got a little surprise “gift” when we left, which was a nice touch. Why do I keep going back to Honda of Bham? Sales is great, but the service department has NEVER let us down. Yes they have stumbled, but 100% without question made it right and took care of us very well. Throw in a smile to melt your heart from Morocco and Ashley’s genuine enthusiasm for our purchase and you have a great experience!

I have purchased many vehicles over the years, this was by far, the easiest purchase I have ever made. Chris and Ashley were great. We selected a vehicle, and in just a few days, our car arrived with all of the features we requested. Chris and Ashley took care of all the details, we were in and out in minimal time. Ashley even took the time to go over all of the operating features of the car with my wife and I before we left the dealership, which was awesome! I had a poor experience after years of taking my car here for service. I was taking the car in for tires and an oil change. I own one of the most popular hybrids in history so far. The trouble started last week when they started texting me about my tire size. I sent them a photo showing the tire size and offered some resources to use in the future so they can look it up themselves. After all, the tire size is common to many vehicles and easy to find online, in the vehicle manual, etc. Instead of ordering the tires I showed up today and they told me that they simply never did it. They were going to charge me a few hundred more than a regular tire shop anyway. So the moral of the story is. Even though I purchased the vehicle here, took it here for service several times before and it's one of the most popular vehicles on the road, Honda of Bellingham couldn't be bothered with keeping even the most basic records on it or doing even the most basic research. They didn't value my time and they were going to overcharge me in the first place. So if you're into unprofessional service at high prices then check them out. If you actually work for a living, etc. and expect some professionalism then look elsewhere.
Jon H- Our records show that you purchased the car in May of 2016 when this location was called Northwest Honda, and was under different ownership, after which you serviced the Prius with us less than once a year. The Toyota Prius came in a 1/2/3/4/5 model in the model year you purchased, and within the range there are several different tire sizes, so when we asked your tire size we truly did not know the proper one, also, I have looked through all of our text records and am unable to find a picture text from you to us to clarify the tire size. Finally, in going through our price quotes I show that you were never furnished with a price from us for tires since we did not have your correct tire size. We take your concerns seriously, but need to be given the chance to give you a great service experience, we can not simply do this without some friendly cooperation, and possibly a few simple questions by our professionals. I would like to invite you back to give us another try, I am sure we will not dissapoint-Joel-360-676-2277 ext 5110-please call me with any concerns.

I went here for my new (to me) car because I've had great experience with the service department. Was not disappointed. Super friendly, no pressure or upsetting. They did offer a single addition, which was a very good deal on a service warranty, but no pressure or hard selling. Everyone was very nice and explained things in a way that was easy to understand.

Honda of Bellingham has some of the kindest and most honest staff around. Went in on Saturday to get an oil change and worked with Brittany, who is a rock star! She got my car checked in quickly and let me know if may be done early if they could make it work. When my car was finished, she walked through the paperwork, showed me pictures of all concern areas, and a price breakdown of additional work to be done, sharing that they could do it little by little if I needed to go that route. My experience with Brittany and the service department is the best I have ever experienced at a Honda dealership. They show genuine honesty and care for you as a person and your car, unlike other dealerships that do things without asking or try to upsell you for everything. If you need an oil change, go to this dealership. It is worth it! While we waited for my car to be finished, we walked over to the sales floor to see about options for a new car for me. Our timeline to purchase is about 8-12 months out, but we wanted to learn about lead times and options, as well as sit in something if we could. We were able to work with Kris, who is an awesome human! He pulled around a 2020 CR-V for us to sit it and even took us out for a test drive. He was not pushy at all and exactly the kind of person you want to work with when buying a car. When we mentioned we were interested in the Hybrid version, he asked a coworker if we could look at his car. These people care about the success of one another and helping give the customer a great experience. When we are ready to buy a new car, Kris will get the first call. What a great team of people!

Great dealership! Purchased my first car (a honda civic) from here and everything was super smooth and easy. Kris was my dealer and he got me through the process in just a couple days. They gave me a good rate and there was no funny business with the state of the car. The techs for the shop there are great too. I thought my tires were low just after i bought the car but it turned out I just needed to recalibrate the sensors, which the techs showed me how to do in a matter of minutes. Would buy a car here again!

We looked at a couple of other dealerships for a used AWD vehicle, but ultimately ended up purchasing at Honda of Bellingham. The entire experience from making an appointment to signing the paperwork to being handed the keys was seamless and positive! Chris ‘Bones’ was easy to talk to and made us feel welcome right off the bat. Everyone was very down to earth which made us feel comfortable with our purchase. Kelly made the finance portion easy to understand, and our anxiety dropped out of the picture. There were no surprises, except a really cool one at the end. But I won’t spoil that for you ;)

This was my first time buying from a dealership so I was nervous I would get taken advantage of but that did not happen! Doug was very friendly and understood where I was coming from and got me my perfect car by the end of the day! Found the exact car I wanted online, emailed the dealership and within 24 hours they had all paperwork done while I was at work. I went in , signed and was out the door in 30 min. No bickering about price. They even got me a lower interest rate than I prequalified for. After trying to buy a car from the Marysville Honda store the night before, who made many false claims and lied to me ( so I left), Working with Ashley and Kelly was an extremely easy process. I did not feel like I was pushed to purchase any extra products, I was simply given the options and I was happy with the overall deal. It was definitely worth driving to Bellingham to make my car purchase.

In the pass l've been a Ford customer. This is my first Honda vehicle that l have owned and so far I like what I bought. I think the quality of Honda meets or exceed. I've owned Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota and Jeep but out of all the other vehicles I think this is the best. Time will only tell.

i get it that car lots are vacant but nobody wants a cold call....Call went something like this (read from a script) "Hi, valued customer. I'd like to tell you abou... "Excuse tell me how I'm a valued customer..... "Continues with script, again mentions valued" "Please, tell me again my worth to you as a customer..." *cough cough* well do have an extended warranty or service plan? Now I get spammed by a Riley Duncan from the service department. A year or two ago I don't feel like this would've happened. Sad.

Bought a new Honda Accord through the USAA auto buying program. Was very impressed with the whole process. Easily the smoothest car buying experience I have ever had. Dotan was great! Great experience with the staff, I buying a new car was not in my plans until my Nissan needed a new transmission at 26,000 miles and parts could take up to a month to come in! so I decided it was time to take advantage of the great used car trade offers and buy a Honda. This car has a 5 star safety rating and that was my priority. Everyone I encountered was great especially John and Rocco. I would always recommend friends and family to try Honda Of Bellingham.

We drove up from Seattle to purchase a certified pre-owned Honda, and it was definitely worth the trip. Great communication beforehand, and they were extremely accommodating. We were treated very well by Chris Bonesteele and everyone else we encountered at the dealership, and felt like we got a great deal to boot. We had a minor issue come up a couple of weeks after delivery and Chris and the team handled it very quickly and professionally and without fuss. Overall, we could not have been more pleased with our experience, and we heartily recommend them.

It is clear to me that the service department is only interested in maximizing profits, not interested in providing honest work to their customers. I recently witnessed my partner dealing with this bunch, and ended up having to go through the wringer just to get their vehicle back to get services done by another shop. Honda of Bellingham tried to tack on charges for “diagnostic work” for an oil leak when in fact, there was nothing wrong with the vehicle pertaining to an oil leak. They trumped up the work they did, then after asking for an itemized receipt, abruptly stopped asking for payment and ended communication. I would not trust my friends’ and family’s vehicles there, and will never spend a cent through this organization.

The sales team was excellent. A fantastic, thorough and honest experience. They answered all of my questions and walked me through every detail till, unfortunately, I sat at the Finance desk. With perfect credit and great financing in place, he only had add ons to work with and let’s just say this, it’s 2021, the old way of eluding questions and condescending remarks no longer works. People like to be informed and have their questions answered directly. Thankfully, that was a short moment in a great overall experience and I was then walked through the whole car and sent on my way with a knowledgeable understanding of my car and my whole purchase.

Honda of Bellingham was great. We had an 04 Pilot that was recently totalled and we were on the hunt for a new SUV with 3rd row. The Pilot won out again for hitting all of the must have items and a few extra features at the best price. The salesman we worked with was so helpful, honest and easy to talk to, he was never pushy or pressuring and the entire process was so smooth and efficient. Highly recommend the entire team.

I went in to the dealership after having some car issues. I got to work with Bones (Chris) and he made my car buying experience so seamless and a little less frightening. They allowed me to leave my current car that I was having issues with at their lot after purchasing a vehicle. When I returned to pick it up my car, it had more issues and they quickly jumped in to help me get it out of the lot. Super cool group!

They made it easy to sign off on the second biggest purchase of my life. The CR-V Hybrid is awesome, but the atmosphere of relaxed and inviting professionalism was exceptional. I've never bought a new car before and I had a lot of questions and ran a lot of financial scenarios. Peter sold me a really cool car at a really decent price. He was patient, knowledgeable, low pressure, and an absolute professional. Staff and sales team extremely pleasant and helpful. They really worked with me to get me in the right car at the right price. Would be 5 stars but staff were incorrectly wearing masks and one not at all. Thus there was a safety concern as well as a lack of follow through on their own stated policies. So. Love the car but wouldn't feel safe going back.

Working with Morocco was a real treat! He made it easy, fun, and fast for me. I don't know a lot about cars but he made sure to answer all my questions and clarify anything I did not understand. He took time to sit with me and go over every feature on the car so that I felt comfortable I knew how to use everything by the time I left the dealership. Kelly in Finance was a pleasure to work with as well. She walked me through all the documents and made it quick sensing how excited I was to get into my new car! I am able to schedule my service appts easily and they take my car back quickly. The service advisor, Keely, is always friendly and explains things thoroughly. I've never had any problems. The showroom and waiting room are very clean and there are drinks available.

I usually never write reviews, but this was the easiest experience ever. I was very selective and wanted a certain car. Most of the other dealerships were “first come first serve” and would not even let me put a deposit down. So it took me months to actually find a dealership that would work with me. We recently bought a new CRV hybrid from Honda of Bellingham and had a great experience. Our sales consultant, Harold, was very patient with us, answered all of our questions with a lot of detail and thought, and didn't try to pressure us into making any decisions on a purchase before we were ready. Even though there were no CRV hybrids on the lot due to all of the supply chain issues these days, Harold drove us around in his own personal vehicle just so we could get a sense for its features and how it drove etc. This went way above and beyond what we were expecting and really helped us feel confident in our decision to purchase one. And our car showed up in less than a week, which was a lot quicker than we thought we would have to wait based on everything we had heard and our experience at other dealers. I recently moved from Chicago to Vancouver Canada. During my cross country drive I received news there was a mix up with the title involving my brand new Honda CRV. Until I received the title I could not cross the border. Concerned about leaving my vehicle stranded I decided to call Honda of Bellingham to see if they would be willing to store my vehicle. Sales consultant Doug Davis answered my phone call and without hesitation said their dealership would be able to keep my CRV parked in their secure lot until everything was sorted. Days turned to weeks until finally my title arrived and I was able to retrieve my vehicle from Vancouver. Thanks to Doug and his team at Honda of Bellingham I had one less thing to worry about as I started my new life in Vancouver.

I dread looking for new cars but this experience was super smooth from beginning to end. I drove through the lot because I could, with the lack of inventory that car dealerships are experiencing, the lot was pretty empty. I decided to park and chat with Doug, the sales person who greeted me. He helped answer all my questions about the SUV I was interested in. He wasn't pushy at all. We set an appt to go for a test drive the following day (I didn't have time on this day) and we also discussed what was involved for them to evaluate my current vehicle for trade in. Doug was very knowledgeable and patient. He answered all my questions and was willing to work with me with the price of my trade in and final price. The financing was super smooth. Overall I was there for 3 hours which was spot on with the test drive, the evaluation of trade in and finally the negotiations and financing. The only thing I don't enjoy when purchasing a new car is the back and forth on numbers. *Note that dealerships are increasing their MSRP at the moment due to supply and demand, which is understandable but isn't brought to your attention until the numbers are on the table. I guess I should have asked? It is in very small faint print on their listing. Doug honored their bold advertised listing price, and I feel I got a fair trade in price for my 11-year-old pilot. This is my second Honda purchase from this dealership. I would go purchase from them again. Thank you Doug for the nice conversation and making the experience a good one!

From the moment I walked into Honda yesterday, I was greeted I dug immediately. He was very warm, kind an outgoing.After having my pilot for 14 years, it was time for a new car and I knew right away I wanted another Honda. I loved my Honda pilot but since our kids are getting older and driving now. I wanted something similar but a little smaller. He showed me a couple of different Honda passports, took me on a drive and was extremely informative and helpful with all of the qualities of it. My story: It all started online doing research on Hybrids. I chose the Insight after hours of considering literally every model available across every car manufacturer. Then finding my Insight (after a 1.5 years of pandemic) was a challenge. I started with my local Honda dealership in Everett, WA. The sales team was polite enough, but their stock was not what I was looking for. Then I stumbled on Honda of Bellingham, and I got the best car buying experience of my life. Let me tell you, I have purchased 5 new cars over my 58 years, and these guys in Bellingham are a fine and reputable bunch. Devon (my sales person) bent over backwards not only to get me the EXACT car I wanted at my price point, but also sent someone to fetch me at the Fairhaven transit station when I arrived to buy my car. Buying a new car is always a bit stressful, and these guys make it a lot nicer. Update 01/25/22: the winter weather has taken away some of the shine. The batteries really fall apart in the cold weather. That and having to constantly warm up your car drops your mpg to 38.

Hands down the most professional staff. Devin was the individual who walked me through my first time leasing a car. From greeting me in the parking lot, test driving cars, and answering every question, I felt like they truly cared about what I was looking for. I went in looking to lease and was able to leave with a car that was just on the market for one day. Very nice facility with a great selection! If you are looking for a new or CPO+ Honda, this is the place! They have CPO+ (certified pre-owned) vehicles with under 1,000 miles, which is unheard of, for great prices with a longer warranty than buying new! Easy enough to schedule service with them and everyone is really nice, but once I get my car in it feels like every "we'll call you back" doesn't happen and there's consistently miscommunications between employees about my vehicle and it's status. Over the years I've been getting service here there have been multiple instances of one employee telling me one thing, and another telling me something completely different minutes later which is super frustrating. 5 stars for their convenient shuttle service and friendly driver Stephen though!

The absolute best car experience ever. Devin made the experience hassle and stress free. No pressure just very informative and Devin genuinely cares about you as a person helping you to make the best decision for your needs. Devin was a pleasure to work with he made a daunting experience fun and comfortable. Very easy to talk with. I also have to give kudos to Morocco, I believe the finance manager and Ben the person who does the paperwork at the end. At the very end when I walked out to my new 2021 Honda CRV hybrid all the Honda crew surprised me in a group cheering, clapping and congratulating me. That was the cherry on top. Service was excellent. The only reason I gave it a 4 star vs. a 5 star is because they forgot to latch the hood all the way down when I left. Had to pull over on the freeway to shut it down. Called Honda about this and they talked to the guy immediately so this wouldn't happen again. Honda then called us back to let us know that they talked to the guy responsible so this wouldn't happen again. Other than that I was very satisfied.

I came to Honda of Bellingham with a specific budget and very specific expectations for what I was looking for. Very unsure if my needs would be met in my prove range. Devin worked with me to find my perfect car and was so patient, kind, and willing to drive as many cars as I needed to find the perfect car for me. There was no pressure to find one but in the end I found exactly what I wanted and needed AND it was in my budget. I absolutely recommend Honda of Bellingham! The Salesman Robbie was very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. The gentleman in Finance was polite, patient and accommodating. I had a lot of anxiety when it came to finding a car, because I didn't know what type of experience I would have. My anxiety was eased after realizing how genuine the Dealership treated me. My experience with Honda in Bellingham was excellent. My intentions were to test drive a Honda CRV Hybrid and I ended up loving the vehicle. Pete, the sales agent, answered all my questions, showed me the highlights of the vehicle and there was no hard sell, which I appreciated a lot. All in all the experience was relaxed and comfortable. I had a positive experience buying a CRV hybrid, even though I had to sadly trade in a 5 week old Toyota RAV hybrid which was unable to make it up my steep curved driveway without losing traction and slipping dangerously, despite first buying better tires before giving up on it. I was able to test drive the CRV up my driveway, and there was no issue, and have been none, so there is something different about their drive trains, I guess. I was glad I could stay with a hybrid. The salesperson let me test drive a second one just to see if I felt better about a lighter interior. He spent a good amount of time explaining the features and how to change settings. And the CRV came with good tires to begin with.

Today my husband and I purchased a new Honda Pilot and it was an amazing car buying experience. Guy I spoke with Omar felt like he thought He could get a big payday. Gave me every car sales man's line. Said he needed to go talk to his manager. Came back and gave me a price of 37k and since I did not accept that he went right back to this fake manager once he got back he said if I signed now I would be able to get a much better deal. But could not give me any information on this deal. But still tried to get me to sign. Better off going somewhere else.

Harold at Honda of Bellingham gave my husband and I the very best personal and private service anyone could ask for. No pressure selling, just the facts with a lot of knowledge on the car we where interested in. Leased a car, moved away from Bellingham now I have to call to answer questions. Problem is almost every time I call no one to answer the phones and I just get re routed back to the main menu until 20 minuets of trying at which I loose faith that someone will answer. Or they do return my calls but I’m usually at work. I’ve tried to call back within less than 5 minuets of missing a call and no one answers.

We were attending a family funeral yesterday in the area and had a problem with our Honda Accord purchased from a dealer in Seattle. We stopped in at Honda of Bellingham and Keely Finn in the service department helped us with a quick fix so we could return to our dealer in Seattle. What an amazing employee.
