I can confirm that it was nothing short of a great experience to have had Joey as my loan officer when purchasing my first home. As an armed service Veteran, I contacted multiple banks with questions about my VA benefits for a Mortgage loan and wasn't confident with their responses or knowledge base regarding the process. I shopped around trying to get the great Mortgage Rates in the TV commercials and none of them could come through on their Loan Quotes. I would receive calls from everyone in the company. “How do I get you in a Mortgage today?” said different people from the same company as they climbed over each other to get the close. I felt more like I was buying a car than refinancing. I was frustrated and discouraged. Than…Someone three thousand miles away mentioned Gerald. Right after speaking to him I canceled arrangements with a the big TV company and let Gerald worry about it for me. He got some info from me up front so he could deliver on his promise and not waste my time. Even with the three hour time difference either Gerald or his assistant would responded to questions with in hours. I don’t think you can go wrong with this guy. Insanely better than lenders from the major banks and other online lenders. Wells Fargo told us they could maybe do 35-40 days to close. Homespire told us they could do 17. In a tight market for buyers, that helped set our offers apart. Nail Kantor and his team worked closely with us and they were responsive and helpful every step of the way. We joked that the team had to be partly cyborg because we would email them questions at 10pm and get responses in 5 minutes. This was my first experience with a lender and I would highly recommend.

Neil never returns phone calls. He’ll send a one word email once in a while. He really can’t spare any time for a customer. Too busy making sales!!! I went with Neil because I was told to “go local, go regional bank.” But I was essentially duped. Customer service is far better with online mortgage companies (your phone calls don’t go totally ignored). They offered better pricing and better service. I feel burned. Sorry I went with Neil. If anyone asks, I’d steer them away from him .
