Appraisal ordered weeks late. At week 5.5 the buyer still didn't have clear to close as the underwriter kept adding new conditions and lender said they wouldn't be able to close on time for a 6 week closing.

Mr. Johnson also surprised me during my closing date that he was there for me to make sure that it will go smoothly, and I can understand all the papers that I need to sign since I am a widower. Husband usually asked his wife, sign here, sign there and we as the wife, we did not know how much paper works involved. However, Mr. Johnson made it so smooth and less stressful for me. These two things you know that he really cares about you. I did not even have any questions, during my closing days, because he took his time to go over the numbers and all the information with me line by line before the closing date. Ask yourself where you can find an amazing Loan Manager like him. I highly recommend Homeside Financial to all of you who’s looking to find a mortgage loan, buy or refinance. Terrible experience with this lender. I wouldn't recommend any of my clients to use them to purchase and I definitely will let my sellers know that they may want to consider another lender when choosing between multiple offers. They just can't deliver nor do they even bother communicating that. Nikki Cates was never heard from and then her manager interjects and apologizes for her dropping the ball but never heard from him again. Terrible follow up, communication and customer service overall.
