My experience with Lindsay and Jessica at Home Rate Mortgage was very pleasant. Both of them kept me informed , returned my calls,and answered my emails in a timely manner. They made me feel like I mattered and they had my best interest at heart. I would highly recommend Home Rate Mortgage for any of your Mortgage needs.

We started searching for a home a few weeks ago after getting prequalified thru HomeRate. Our loan officer Tony Naples has made it a very pleasant experience and has been very responsive with any of our questions and needs. Being new to the area we did not know of a particular real estate agent or insurance agent we wanted to use so we asked for him to refer us to both and are so thankful we did! We ended up using Josh Hill at Exit Realty and Debbie Hudson with Goosehead Insurance and both agents have been incredibly knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. I could not have picked them better myself! Thank you Tony Naples and HomeRate Mortgage for making this such a wonderful experience!

Used HomeRate for previous mortgage, and tried to use them again. Could not get the agent, He Who Shall Not be Named, to respond in timely manner. I explained extenuating circumstances around our buying and selling arrangement, and the only confirmation that was given was, “you’re good.” Kept pushing for more detail, and kept getting the “you’re good.” Didn’t feel confident, so I called another company for a second opinion and was told something completely different (and more accurate) by the other broker who also got me a solid answer in 10 minutes. Submitted all documentation, then rate went up by .25% because Lord Voldemort didn’t lock it in....Hey, Dark Lord, ....we aren’t good, bud. Never got a Pre approval letter or anything we could actually use, even though we sent everything in. Unfortunately, I can’t take his, “You’re good.” to the bank. Didn’t seem to want our business so we took it elsewhere for much better service. We also referred a family member to HomeRate and they never got a call back. Wouldn’t recommend.

Lindsay Peker has not only been super professional but truly fabulous saving us money everyway and locking us in on the lowest interest rate! We couldn't be happier, honestly. She keeps in touch and walks you through the process! She is fabulous!

The customer service is poor at best. We filled out our application. We where told we where preapproved. We found a house made an offer and got accepted. Then never heard from the company again. We tried to call and email both the broker and the mail company on several times. After 3 weeks I finally got ahold of someone. They pulled up my information said it was weird they didnt know what happened and sent a message to the broker and his assistant. Another week went by and I called back. I spoke with a person they found my file ask me to hold five minutes later a voicemail came on and I was disconnected. I called back spoke with another lady. She found my file looked at it couldn't figure out why we had not been contacted. She asked me to hold while she investigated. Then out of no where a man came on and asked how he could help. I explained the situation again. He asked for my info and couldnt find the file. I told him the name of the broker thatxwas working on it and it turns out this was him I was speaking with. He took my info and said i will call you back when I find your file. And now we wait.... dont waste your time. Call anyone else.

Currently working with HomeRate Mortgage and I am SO disappointed! I hear the commercials every single day, so they were the first place I went. First contact was great, after that, we were given to someone else and the lack of communication and email etiquette is UNREAL!! If you like confirmation emails after you've sent them a TON of very personal information, forget it! Just a simple, "Hey, I got your information, I'm sending it over to the underwriter and will let you know when I hear back."....nope, you won't get that type of security here. A simple email like that takes second to write, but I guess that's too much to ask for. Instead, you'll get the "I'm sorry, I was out of the office". Well, I'm sorry, learn how to use the "out of office" feature if that's the case, but I guess he couldn't do that since I sent the email while he WAS in the office, it was the next business day he wasn't. I would love to know the reason for the continued lack of communication now that he's already used up that excuse. I hope our experience gets better, but no, I most definitely would NOT recommend HomeRate Mortgage!

I worked with Chad Stockburger. He was competent, professional, low pressure, knowledgeable and PATIENT! He communicated well and in a timely manner. And certainly made me feel appreciated even though he was the one doing all the work! I deeply appreciate the folks at Home Rate Mortgage! Don't simply keep listening to their ads. Pick up the phone and give them a call. I'm sure glad I did. These folks are the best.

My experience with HomeRate Mortgage for my refinance was smooth, quick and professional. My loan closed so quickly that my husband and I were both ecstatic!
