Chuck is the most knowledgeable and experienced loan officer out there who offers the best deal and real help I made a mistake of applying for refinancing on several of the generic refinancing websites on a late evening during the COVID 19 pandemic. I had just found out the interest rates were historically low during the pandemic. That night, though it was late, I made a whole bunch of applications online to make sure we could get a good interest rate before the rate would start go back up. The following day I was inundated with a myriad of emails and phone calls replying to my applications. Out of all these offers, one truly stood out from the very beginning and that was the email from Chuck Crowder. In his email, he wrote down all the details and clearly described what exactly he was offering for several scenarios that could best suit our financial needs. I was so impressed, so I had to call him immediately to confirm his offers. It was late in the evening, yet he answered my call right away, as he always does any time of the day or night, and explained his offers step by step. His explanations were just straight forward, and the offers were exactly how they were written down. No gimmicks, no tricks, just facts. He is very knowledgeable, yet so soft-spoken and easy to talk to. He is such a great listener and a great problem solver. After the lengthy discussion, he offered 2% interest rate for our jumbo loan and we could not believe what we were hearing. Because of the favorable offer, we had to prepare many documents, but Chuck was always there every step of the way helping us to complete the application successfully, and we were able to close the deal. Great Experience! I was interested in refinancing my home loan to lower the interest and of course the payment as well. I was really struggling on finding a lender that would work with me . Hal Weinshank and HomePlus mortgage weren't the first lenders I was in touch with; I was shopping for a refinance and had worked with a few lenders, some of whom were unreliable or less honest about the process. From the get go, Hal was upfront about managing my expectations, but immediately locked me into a historically low interest rate - one that other lenders were hesitant to match. He was proactive in keeping me up to date during the process and it was apparent to me that my satisfaction with the loan and the process was his priority. Hal is an honest person, who invests care and attention into his clients experience, and it was a true pleasure to work with him.

The latter part of December 2020, a relative told me about an experienced that he had with a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator that he had meet and process a refinance loan for him. He told me that Christopher J. Ross at Home Plus Mortgage was the best organized loan originator that he had ever meet and that I should give him a call. My relative told me that Mr. Ross was very smart, organize, and professional. Mr. Ross kept him informed all along the loan process with updates on where the loan was in the process and what could be expected next. I call Mr. Ross and stated that I was looking to refinance my home loan. He immediately sent me the loan application and immediately started collecting the documents needed to process the loan. I would talk with Mr. Ross two or three times a eek keeping abreast on the progress of my loan. He would explain where we were and what was coming next. This went on for about three or four weeks until my loan closed. It only took about four weeks to close my loan. I am so appreciative that I was introduced to Mr. Ross. I will contact all my friends, relatives and associates to see if any of them are interested in re-financing their home loan because Mr. Ross is the best I know.

My wife and I was looking to see what the housing market looked like, so we went to a VA Seminar to learn what the VA had to offer. The mortgage company giving the seminar seemed very well to work with and they had a great rep with closing quickly. After finding the home we wanted we started to Escrow process and decided to change lenders. Yes, we know that this isn't the greatest idea to do so, but we heard such good things with HomePlus and their service. HomePlus Mortgage recently refinanced our mortgage loan. I cannot say enough positive things about their process and their people (especially Manuel Ybarra and Shawna Kraft). After receiving a couple of letters from them in early 2020 with some great advertised rates, I decided to email the same person we worked with in 2019 to see if the rates advertised were actually honored. In August 2021, I worked with Emily Van Slyke at HomePlus to refi my mortgage. HomePlus offered an excellent rate that wound up reducing my monthly P&I payment by >20%, and communication throughout the process was prompt, competent, clear, and (perhaps most importantly) flexible in terms of email vs. phone calls, which was a welcome change of pace in an industry that otherwise seems to be stuck in 1995 in terms of spammy unscheduled phone calls. Even though my refi required an appraisal, Emily did a fantastic job coordinating it and handling all the behind-the-scenes work necessary for the process to be smooth from the customer's perspective.
